The best studio i have been too!
Took a trip down this week.
Didnt know what to expect before arriving, when i arrived jake had a brief chat with me showed me around and showed me the different rooms for hire. then we went into the Dj studio. a big room with custom lights etc etc.
had an hour booked, the decks are perfect. been to many studios and the decks are ok at best. these decks look brand new. the speakers are wicked.
after the hour joke came back in and we had a chat for a bit, like the other reviews suggest he is properly friendly and down to earth, which make the vibe of the place great. Come down and try it out its worthwile.
Also just somthing to add on a side note, apple maps when you put in afterdark studios takes you to a factory/work area just around the corner but the gates shut behind you, so may be worth setting the maps to the actual street its on.

Was a little surprised when I first came to this studio, Was really done out well. Not only is the equipment provided some of the best a studio can offer, the decoration and general vibe is great. Had an absolutely great time here and the gent who owns it was polite. For the price, no studio is beating it for me!

My daughter had a dj workshop experience for Christmas. She and her friend were blown away by the equipment and had an amazing time. Jake was friendly, knowledgeable and really accommodating of what the kids wanted. He also showed them the incredible production room - I think next year's Christmas lists may be quite expensive! A great experience and I would fully recommend. We will be returning!

Could not recommend a better studio in terms of equipment, availability, sound quality and cleanliness. Has basically became my second home as someone who makes music for work. Jake and the team have a fantastic space for music production and an excellent room for testing those new tunes out after making them with cdj-3000’s and a huge livestream set up. Not to mention the instrument room being built for live practice for bands! A brilliant affordable rate and a spot on space to be, also outside of the congestion zone in Birmingham, without being to far from the city. Grateful to say that such a studio belongs in my area…
