Advanced NI did a fantastic job. We have an almost flat roof conservatory that regularly leaked. The company promised to do a good job in replacing the roof and they did. A big shout out to Mike (onsite expert), Chris (master plasterer), Davy (master electrician) and all the boys for their hard work. Another shout out to Lee and Jason who sorted out the problem with the bi-fold doors (after all the movement during the build). Every one of the team were respectful, patient and easy to have around the house, however, the roofers' (aka the rubber guys) taste in music is highly questionable. Thanks again everyone. We contacted Marty about building a bespoke garden room for our back garden, and from the very beginning, the experience was excellent. Marty came out to measure up and quickly returned with a quote we were really happy with, so we decided to go ahead. Throughout the process, Marty was incredibly helpful and professional. He even brought materials to our home so we could visualise the finish, offering sound advice based on his experience, which really helped us make the right choices. The team started work in early January after the Christmas break, and every single member of his team was friendly, hardworking, and professional from start to finish. A special mention goes to Michael, the main joiner, and Davy, the electrician, both did a fantastic job. Very professional company. They installed a new roof on my sun room giving a 10year written warranty. Steven and Marty were great to work with. Their boys came first thing on the morning of the date I was given and completed the job in three days. The old roof and any rubbish was removed. I now have a warm dry sun room. Thank you.

From Jason first came round to measure our Garage Door and Window and give us a great unbeatable quote ( as I had already had others round) until the fitters came round 2 weeks later to remove our old door and window frame and professionally fit the new ones all in a few hours cleaning up after them and taking the old door and frames away we were well pleased with the guys and their work plus Jason the owner came back to view their work and make sure we were happy..id completely recommend this company 100% Will Tate

Delighted with the work done by the team - they replaced nine windows, our front and patio doors in a little over a day in total at a very competitive price for the work involved. Everything was done incredibly professionally and we've already noticed a significant improvement in the warmth of the house. Worst experience ever My conservatory is advertised on the company's website under 'sunroof in Bangor' but unfortunately it does not tell the true nightmare that developed. Upon completion of the project I pointed out to the director a couple of problems which he promised to rectify. Firstly part of the block wall behind a downpipe had not even been rendered, it was just left as the bare blocks. In addition the manhole for wastage pipes was supposed to be relocated outside the new sunroom but they persuaded me to relocate this inside on the basis that I would barely notice the silver rim around the manhole cover. Instead they fitted a cover with a large bolt in each corner which meant that the tiler had to leave a 4 inch square hole in each corner of the tiles to access these. During the construction the director answered all my texts and calls promptly and return calls if I left messages. However afterwards he completely ignored all my contact about these issues and I was left with the feeling that he couldn't care less and wasn't going to respond no matter how many calls or texts I made. However this is nothing compared to the nightmare that followed. Within a few months of completion a leak developed where the conservatory roof joined the external walls. To be fair they responded promptly this time and a man came out and repaired the leak which he said had been caused by a break in the silicone. My conservatory is advertised on the company's website under 'sunroof in Bangor' but unfortunately it does not tell the true nightmare that developed. Upon completion of the project I pointed out to the director a couple of problems which he promised to rectify. Firstly part of the block wall behind a downpipe had not even been rendered, it was just left as the bare blocks. In addition the manhole for wastage pipes was supposed to be relocated outside the new sunroom but they persuaded me to relocate this inside on the basis that I would barely notice the silver rim around the manhole cover. Instead they fitted a cover with a large bolt in each corner which meant that the tiler had to leave a 4 inch square hole in each corner of the tiles to access these. During the construction the director answered all my texts and calls promptly and return calls if I left messages. However afterwards he completely ignored all my contact about these issues and I was left with the feeling that he couldn't care less and wasn't going to respond no matter how many calls or texts I made.

However this is nothing compared to the nightmare that followed. Within a few months of completion a leak developed where the conservatory roof joined the external walls. To be fair they responded promptly this time and a man came out and repaired the leak which he said had been caused by a break in the silicone. However within some further weeks or months the leaks reappeared and they again sent someone out to repair the silicone. Over the next couple of years the same pattern ensued and on at least 4 or 5 occasions the roof would repeatedly leak and they would send someone out to repair the silicone when this was clearly not resolving the problem. As evidenced by the attached photographs the plinth around the roof was damp and mouldy and a complete mess, the wall and furniture was routinely soaking, the floor was continuously soaking which caused particular problems for me as I am severely disabled, the very large picture that I had hanging on the wall was destroyed. In essence having spent more than £25,000 on a lovely room to sit and enjoy the garden and sunshine I have been left with an unusable mess which is nothing more than a glorified store room. Last year I had had enough and emailed the director to say that their routine repairs to the silicone was clearly not working and asked what he proposed to do to solve the problem permanently. He ignored both that email and a subsequent reminder and consequently, having paid them such a huge amount, I have been left trying to get other firms to fix the problem. One builder wasn't interested, a roofer was also not interested and another roofer quoted me £950 but hasn't come back to do the work. Consequently I have been left with a constant reminder of having made a very bad decision and a blight on the rest of my house and the sad conclusion is that they simply dont care.

The door is of high quality, and the fitters did an outstanding job leaving everything tidy and perfectly fitted. It’s been three months, and the door has performed flawlessly. By the end of day 1 we had a water-tight room & on day 4 the plasterer (who is excellent) along with the electrician completed - even tidying up before they left. 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. We had a conservatory roof conversion completed by Advanced NI in October 2023. Since then, we have experienced prolonged and consistent leaking through the roof, which has got progressively worse as time has gone on. When we first contacted the company about the leaks, they sent someone out (after weeks and repeated contact) to “repair” the leak - they simply threw a load of mastic sealant on to the roof which in turn created a dam of water and a worse leak than we started with. Advanced NI have now told us that they have been bought over and our 10 year guarantee for repair / replacement is void. Regardless of the logistics of their sale, I cannot fathom how these individuals can treat people this way after overseeing such shambolic work in the first place. I say this as the staff members who sold me the job initially, are still working here to this day. The leaks are now so bad that we have water dripping on to our newly laid floor. I have now contacted our home insurance as we are in such a desperate situation. The surveyor sent out to look at the work described it as “disastrous” and “criminal” and informed me that we will need to have the whole conversion re-done as it was always going to fail. We are a young family who paid £8.5k for the initial works to be completed and now face paying the same amount (or more) again, as the money paid to Advanced NI has quite literally gone down the drain. I should add that a building control certificate should have been provided when the work was completed. After 2 years of chasing, the “new company” asked us to pay another £250 for this service and we STILL haven’t received it. Not that this matters at this stage. There’s clearly a reason no building control certificate was provided at the beginning. I don’t care that this company state they are operating under new management, I would absolutely implore anyone reading this review to not get involved with these cowboys.
