Bought a drone and RC from Amazon 3rd party seller, Adorama. Right away, the drone is defective with a stuck camera gimbal. I call Amazon. They say, "You purchased this from a 3rd party seller. I'm sorry, you have to call them." I call Adorama. They say I should file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. I do. The manufacturer has the drone and RC for 2 weeks. They repair it, under warranty. But, the RC has a different serial number. Okay...but first flight out of the box and the RC zoom wheel is not functioning and forces a controller calibration. It won't calibrate because of the defect and the drone can't fly. I call Adorama. I didn't want a refurbished drone and remote. I ask for a refund. Or, at least, a new RC. NOPE! Adorama says they are out because I've already claimed a warranty. They're done. Denied. But they told me to claim the warranty. The drone company is still trying. Adorama has left the building. After 7 weeks, dozens of phone calls, emails, texts, chats, customer service reps, techs and trips to UPS, Adorama still has all of my $ and I still have a non-functioning drone. BUYER BEWARE. Lots of finger pointing and no solutions.​​

Customer service at its very finest! I spoke with tech support guy Shua K, who first answered a couple of important questions I had about my Flashpoint R2Pro flash trigger, and then helped me update the firmware on both it and my Godox AD200 Pro flash. He set up a screen share with my computer and did all the work while I watched. He was fast, friendly, and efficient. The process went off without a hitch and took only a few minutes. How refreshing it is to call a tech support phone number and actually reach an English-speaking native American who knows exactly how to help you and does so in a cheerful manner. Bravo, Shua! You made my day!

I contacted Adorama for a quote on my camera equipment and was offered a value that was 20% lower than the online quote I had received. The person who answered my call provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He was rude, rushed through the call, and didn't even inquire about the condition of the camera or its parts, like the battery and charger. To top it off, he hung up on me. This behavior was absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. Based on my first experience, I would not recommend contacting or doing business with Adorama, as they show no respect for their customers.

I purchased a new Nikon Z7ii that never came via UPS. When I made my purchase on June 19th, 2024 which included a Nikon Z7ii, a 24-70mm f/2.8, and a 70-200mm f/2.8, among a few other items, Adorama was quick to offer me overnight shipping. But when the packages arrived, the Nikon Z7ii was missing from the order. The packages were tightly packed and there was absolutely no room in either of the packages that were sent for the Z7. When I called Adorama on Friday morning at 8:00am, they told me they needed 1-2 business days to look into the issue. When I had heard nothing back by the following Tuesday and called them back, they requested more time to look into the issue. I continued to wait and by Tuesday, July 02, 2024, I called them back. They said they reviewed the CCTV footage and the camera was included in the shipment and that they needed to file a claim with UPS. I was hesitant to order through Adorama in the first place because I am usually a devout B+H customer, but B+H was sold out of the Z7ii's. Adorama has offered nothing in exchange for this massive inconvenience, and simply are not even apologetic about the issue.

The issue described below is being worked out. I appreciate the Adorama representative for reaching out. I'll update once it's completely resolved. I've used adorama a few times to sell my old equipment. However, this was the last time I had business with them. . I got a quote for my Sony camera for 570$, mailed it in, but then got a call that they would offer 250$. I know quotes can go down and I was expecting it, but by more than half?! The rep told me that they sell those used for 350 which is not true. I would describe this as classical "Bait and Switch." So whatever Adorama. I regret wasting my time and I will not be coming back.

I had a very bad experience with Adorama. I bought a Sachtler tripod and a Sony PXW-190 open box. When I got to the Adorama store, they assured me that everything would be expedited shipping for free within 2 days. However, the tripod arrived after 4 days, and the real issue was with the camcorder. Despite being charged the same day as the tripod, I'm still waiting for the camera after 8 days. I was informed on UPS app that the package was damaged and the item was no longer available for delivery. Since I never received the package due to damage during transfer, I contacted their customer service. They promised a refund, but it would take 7 business days after they receive the damaged package. Unfortunately, I received rude responses and was deeply disappointed by their handling of the situation. I requested another camera, but they insisted to buy another one because they don't have another one open box and wait for the refund on the previous one. This means they are holding my money for over 2 weeks. If I buy another camera, I'll be charged again, and the amount is around $4000. I cannot recommend Adorama and hope to avoid doing business with them in the future. Despite asking to speak with a manager, no one was available to clarify the situation. This investment was for a project this week, which I have now lost, and I'll have to wait longer for my money due to their 7-day business policy. On June 2, 2024, I ordered a Casio CDP-S360 Electronic Piano/Keyboard from Adorama online for $400 plus tax (paid $424). The item was listed as an open-box item in like-new condition, with standard product warranty intact. Items noted as included in the box were as follows: 1)Casio CDP-S360 88-Key Compact Digital Piano Keyboard with Touch Response (Black), 2)Pedal (SP-3), 3)Music Stand, 4)AC Adapter (AD-A12150LW). Upon delivery, on June 5, 2024, with box undamaged, but clearly retaped/repackaged, as expected given it was sold as open-box. I opened and unpacked the product and found the shipment to be missing items 2 and 4, the Pedal (SP-3) and AC Adapter (AD-A12150LW). I subsequently contacted Adorama customer support to seek a solution and was told I'd be contacted within 48 hours to have the matter resolved. On June 6, 2024, I was contacted via email by an Adorama customer service representative that identified themselves as ********. They noted that the original product items were unavailable and that what they could do is refund $25 to close the matter. There was no means provided to correspond in any way other than by reply to the email. In my reply, sent June 6, 2024, I explained that the retail value of the items was $94.98, currently on their site available for $64.98, and that the appropriate resolution would be to either ship those products or refund that amount to allow me to place an order for them on their site. Over a day later, there has been no response. This will be my last purchase with this business given my experience. I've opened a complaint with BBB, in addition to this review, and will look into next steps if this doesn't reach an appropriate resolution within a week.

Purchased a Sigma ***** 2.8 lens on May 31, 2024 from ****** (Adorama seller). Delivery date was supposed to be June 1, 2024. It says delivery was attempted (does not give a time window, so I may have stepped out to walk my dog and missed it) but *** left a note that said the package was left at a local ice cream shop (*** Drop Point). I go to pick it up, but it is not there. *** says they received a change of address and the package was "delivered" on June 3, 2024. I checked *** Tracking, and it was deliver to ******** *** (I'm in ******, **) and signed for by "****" (My name is ****). So not me, not my address. That is what they considered "proof of deliver", so signature, no photo, nothing. I opened an investigation with *** but they closed it almost immediately as there is "proof of delivery". I called *** today and they informed me they "found the package" but couldn't tell me where. I asked who made the change of delivery address. They said, "there were multiple errors on the senders end, and they are trying to work with the sender to correct it". None of that information made it to me until I called. I have heard nothing from Adorama on why they redirected my package to some guy in ******, CO. I'm still out almost $600 with no end in sight as no information has been updated. So $600 out, no information on the horizon, now June 7, 2024 and still.. no ****. I will be pursuing alternative investigation and recouperation options if this is not sorted. If Adorama can change the delivery address, they should refund me and request their product back from ***. I no longer want to be involved in this nightmare.

Customer support is not helpful and I never received my items from them. I ordered a Sony camera from them and never received it. It was supposed to arrive before I photographed an international wedding. Adorama requested that UPS send the item back to them during transit. I called Adorama's customer service to find out why they requested the item back and they did not know why. UPS could not tell me either. I haven't received a refund from Adorama and customer service has not been helpful. After reading other reviews, there has been issues with refunds and not getting equipment shipped.

Terrible experience, that cost me money, nerves, emotional distress and I am still paying for the lens that I have never received and see here that I am not alone. I don't know how this people can still operate, I don't know what else to do to get my money back, I am still paying monthly installments for something that never reached me as Adorama and FedEx failed to comply with signature ID delivery check so lens was delivered to someone else. Last email I have received from them is that they are making back charges and that never happened, so beside the theft and horrible customer service experience and not caring about my money and issue I add to them a lie as well ..fiefs and liars.

terrible experience, emotinaly and financially drained completely. the lens i ordered was never delivered to me as adorama and fedex failed to comply with signature / id check delivery so the lens went into someone else hands. i am still paying for it, monthly credit instalments. after 3 months of going back and forth sharing all proofs and evidence that i was not at all at the time of delivery the address i was far away for days. so after months of going back and forth, they agreed to issue back charges but that never happened. so besides the theft of my money, lying as well. shame on you adorama and give me

This company has been terrible to work with. I ordered two flashes at the beginning of April and realized I ordered the wrong brand for my camera. No big deal, just a quick exchange to get the right ones. Wrong. I have now been going back and forth with customer service and still have not received my new flashes for the exchange an entire month later with no date in sight. Not to mention I sent the wrong ones back the same day I received them, in one email she told me the date they received them and in the next email she said they hadn't had a scan from their warehouse yet and hasn't received them yet. And I had to pay for shipping to send them back. Terrible customer service, and terrible communication.
