Terrible experience, that cost me money, nerves, emotional distress and I am still paying for the lens that I have never received and see here that I am not alone. I don't know how this people can still operate, I don't know what else to do to get my money back, I am still paying monthly installments for something that never reached me as Adorama and FedEx failed to comply with signature ID delivery check so lens was delivered to someone else. Last email I have received from them is that they are making back charges and that never happened, so beside the theft and horrible customer service experience and not caring about my money and issue I add to them a lie as well ..fiefs and liars.

terrible experience, emotinaly and financially drained completely. the lens i ordered was never delivered to me as adorama and fedex failed to comply with signature / id check delivery so the lens went into someone else hands. i am still paying for it, monthly credit instalments. after 3 months of going back and forth sharing all proofs and evidence that i was not at all at the time of delivery the address i was far away for days. so after months of going back and forth, they agreed to issue back charges but that never happened. so besides the theft of my money, lying as well. shame on you adorama and give me

This company has been terrible to work with. I ordered two flashes at the beginning of April and realized I ordered the wrong brand for my camera. No big deal, just a quick exchange to get the right ones. Wrong. I have now been going back and forth with customer service and still have not received my new flashes for the exchange an entire month later with no date in sight. Not to mention I sent the wrong ones back the same day I received them, in one email she told me the date they received them and in the next email she said they hadn't had a scan from their warehouse yet and hasn't received them yet. And I had to pay for shipping to send them back. Terrible customer service, and terrible communication.

Try scamming this "solves all problems with blood soaked knuckles" I just ordered something from there and I promise this... If I don't receive my item then this company has f#cked with the right motherf#cker. I WILL go to the address they provide casually walk in and punch the first f#ckboy I see f#cking head clean the f#ck off. When I lay that one out I'll stand over him and stomp him continuously getting more excited hearing his whimpers until I stomp a godd#mn mud hole of splintered skull fragments in that as$. My d$ck hard as a rock from the violence I will continue to locate and brutally violate each person I come across until either the pus$ies call the police and they f#cking kill me or I viciously end the lives of each employee there. If I could give them 0 stars I would! I ordered a used Fujifilm camera, rated E+. The camera arrived to my house in a box that was completely destroyed with only 2 layers of bubble wrap around the camera itself. To add, the camera was much smaller than the box, so it most defiantly shook around A LOT! When I contacted the customer service department they said they could offer me a partial refund, to pay for someone to examine the camera and ensure nothing was damaged internally. After several follow up calls and no answer for 9 days, they told me this shipping quality was "normal" and I would not be getting any refund. Once I spoke to the customer service agent to discuss this, they hung up on me. Terrible company, terrible customer service. I will never ever purchase form them again.

Do not sell your equipment to this company. They will send you a quote and then once they receive the product they low ball you. I was told 900 by the first person I spoke to for a camera and lens. I sent them the camera it sat there for over a week and then they tell me like 670 for both. DO NOT TRUST THEM! I will post the emails to show I am not lying about them quoting me 1 price and then offering another. The condition of the item wasn't worse than what I told them so how does the price drop??? Update: So what this business does is send you a quote for what they think they can sell it... not what you will actually get. Why would I care about how much they are going to sell it for? That makes no sense! I'm sure they screw over a lot of people with this confusion!

The Service and communication was good. I had to return the binoculars I purchased because they didn't seem to be working properly for me. They sent me a label and I mailed them back. However, be aware that you must pay the return shipping if the product isn't obviously damaged. So I lost $16.39 in the process. In retrospect, I should have purchased them on Amazon and the return shipping would have been free. Something to think about next time you purchase equipment.

*** I received a call today from Jack Gold, he apologized for the issues and was more than fair offering a resolution for Eric's errors. I was told a specific number over the phone that my camera was worth. I was selling my beloved camera to pay for my wedding. Then I get to the store and Eric is not there. Remember the name Eric here because he truly needs to be fired. I spoke with his coworker who then gave me a lower number. Then Eric returned and gave me an even lower number than his coworker. I explained to Eric that this was beyond ridiculous and why would I ask for a quote to begin with if he was going to lowball me this much and he knows its to pay for my wedding. Next time I am selling something I truly value, I will go to B and H. And hopefully they dont hire Eric after he is fired here. Someone please fire Eric. And if you are ever selling your things, do NOT speak with Eric as he does not care.

Not a trustworthy company. I bought a film camera from them in 2005 and they contacted me by phone saying that they were out but would give me a good deal on a display model. Wasn't until a few years later when I looked in the box to read the manual it was an import from Mexico with a international warranty. I never had any problems, but if I had Canon wouldn't honor the warranty. I decide I was through with them. Fast forward almost 20 years later, I thought that I would give them another try. This time to purchase a used Nikon AF-D lens. Lens was supposed to be in excellent condition, but on arrival the focus ring was binding. Ended up taking it to another camera shop to trade and they noticed "moisture" inside the lens. They are very deceitful. As the saying goes "buyer beware".

Ordered a strobe bulb replacement TWO TIMES. Once from Adorama directly, once from Adorama AMAZON store. Both times they sent me the wrong item. I then had to spend my own money to return the item. Absolute clown show.

After hours of personally trouble shooting, I relented and called Adorama. Shua was certain he could determine what was wrong with my Flashpoint transmitter to strobe connection in two minutes. He certainly knew both components well and we zipped through and made a small change in a hidden menu on the strobe and voila! All is well. About those two minutes? It took two more. Very pleased with the rapidity and knowledge of Shua.

UPDATE: Tues 02-20-2024 By the end of the entire ordeal, they solved my problem and issued me my refund, minus the warranty. I walked away from the entire experience about 85 - 90% happy because I received my refund for the monitor.

Very poor customer service. I was there to pick up an order when they opened and instead of picking up my item which would have taken 30 sec the Adorama employee embarked on a return for another customer that took 20 minutes. Generally they seemed disorganized and inefficient, I'll go to B&H next time.

I was going to give Adorama negative stars, until some great customer service. I had ordered a product and was charged and immediately informed it was on backorder. I complained to two people and was pretty upset. The customer service people were so kind I couldn't even stay upset. The drop ship order was canceled, even on a weekend and at this point I would trust this company. I have yet to order again, but I swore I would never, and at this point I have change my mind.

I’ve purchased some new and used equipment from Adorama and they fooled me into thinking they are/were a reputable company. My mistake was accepting their offer for two lenses I want to sell. Their offer was either a total cash trade-in of $984.19 or store credit of $1,003.87 which seemed fair, but as I was about to find out it’s just a ruse. They falsely claim that item inspection may take up to 3 business days, but after sending them my gear, they did nothing, zero, zip, nada with my order for over a MONTH. Three emails yielded ZERO response. Chatting with customer service is also a waste of time because the Adorama Trade-in Dept. for unknown reasons is outside the customer service realm. But oddly an Adorama CS Ambassador did respond to Facebook Messenger and asked me to email her. Although she was somewhat helpful, and acknowledged "I understand your frustration completely, and I sincerely apologize for what happened. There's absolutely no excuse for the trade experience you've had with us." After several emails with her she returns with the final insult of offering $807.00 -- $177.19 LOWER than their lowest offer. Beware that Adorama is not reputable and is a bait-and-switch company.

I have purchased two used telescopes from Adorama and am extremely happy with the purchases. The prices were fair, the items arrived as described so no let down, and the shipping was phenomenal. Also they took time to package the scopes to protect them. I have no qualms whatsoever purchasing further items from Adorama. A+
