This is the first time I’ve tried acupuncture, and though I was a bit skeptical at first, I can now highly recommend Gil! The intake session was already great. Gil took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and asked follow-up questions to make sure he had a good understanding of my health status. The treatments themselves are very relaxing. I struggle with anxiety, and it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this calm. Initially, I came to Gil after a severe bladder infection that I was struggling to recover from. Since starting acupuncture (I just finished my 8th session), Gil has helped me in several other areas as well: a healthier cycle, less PMS, managing my bladder issues, more stress resistance, and an overall sense of calm. Plus, most health insurance plans cover at least 50% of the treatment costs as well, so I can highly recommend giving it a try. :)

I have tried several different acupuncture practices in Amsterdam and the UK at various points in my life. I would say that overall Gil’s has been the best overall experience thanks to both his listening and interaction skills, the actual acupuncture and last but not least the very comfortable rooms. I usually come with stress/insomnia/anxiety related complaints. This time I came with the above plus a physical complaint : pains in my wrists. Gil does a very thorough intake episode first and then proceeds with the first acupuncture points and you lie on a very comfortable bed including warm pads and meditative music. You are left in the room once the needles are in place ( similar to all acupuncture places ). But because the room is so comfy it feels genuinely restorative and you can feel the energies in your body elevating. After 2 sessions I felt significantly better and it seemed to help my wrist pain go away quickly. Emotionally I felt clearer and experienced some improvements in my complaints. They don’t last forever and regular top ups are required but I am aware that my life circumstances are such that I need regular help. Gil gives holistic advice to help beyond the practice room, including diet and supplements. I think no doubt this therapy art is powerful and can really help heal many complaints. It’s mysterious how it works but there’s no doubt in my mind it works.

Highly Recommended! I’ve been seeing Gil Ton for acupuncture treatments, and he has been amazing at helping me with my tennis elbow. After trying other methods with little success, Gil’s approach brought significant relief. He’s extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and creates a relaxing environment. Each session is very personalized, and he takes the time to explain everything in detail, which made me feel comfortable and confident in the treatment. Gil’s acupuncture was very helpful when our baby daughter had temperature at 6 months to lower it, when she had diarrhoea, and now with her teething. Her symptoms went away in less than a day and her mood goes back to normal. He really knows what he is doing when it comes to babies.

As both a student and patient of Gil, I can clearly feel Gil's professionalism and passion for Tung's acupuncture from different perspectives. The Tung's acupuncture is not only treatment method but also philosophy. Initially, I wasn't very confident that Gil could really help me solve my long-term chronic illness (over 20 years), but after several treatments, I slowly began to notice changes in my body. Although I haven't fully recovered, these changes are something I have not experienced from any other doctors or fitness coaches. Vorig jaar in februari 1 x een accupunctuurbehandeling tegen hooikoorts gedaan -na 25 jaar ellendige zomers.. De hele zomer daarna nergens last van gehad. Geweldig! Nu ga ik voor de tweede keer, want het is weer terug. Wel minder heftig dan ooit!

Dr.Gil is definitely an expert and I highly recommend everyone looking to resolve any healthy issue to visit the clinic and consult him. My 1.5y old child visits regularly to get help with ear infections and nose congestion, and he loves it :) Gil is extremely attentive and caring. He regularly follows up to check how the little one is doing and has also supported us with different tips to implement at home. I would definitely recommend Gil for little ones and grown ups too!
