We recently switched to Acellus from Time4Learning due to the extreme lack of customer service, missing content, and many technical issues with the platform. Acellus has been AMAZING so far! It's on a whole other level than T4L, be it at more than double the price. This has been a clear example of you get what you pay for. If you're in the market for a homeschool program, I'd highly advise you to give Acellus a shot. You won't regret it!

Acellus is the perfect solution. My child was failing his classes through public school and we knew it wasn’t because he wasn’t smart enough. Through research and recommendation from a friend we chose Acellus out of the 100’s of online school options and it couldn’t be more perfect. My child is now getting A’s in all his classes and loving school and learning again. The intuitive learning system has made a huge difference as well as the ability to rewatch lectures and retake quizzes and tests.
So thankful for Roger Billings and his team. After pulling my son from a disastrous 6th grade year at our local school. We were able to get up and running quickly, and he has been more engaged this 7th grade year than I could have hoped for. It has unlocked several different levels of learning and his desire to explore has returned. One of the greatest advantages is their "Vectored learning", which in a nutshell puts him into the level he is capable of learning and passing at. It can seem like a demotion at first, but now he strived to stay ahead of vectored instruction, and excel. It's become a real motivator for him. Not only has it changed our school lives, but our home life has improved as well. The siblings have all commented on how much better life is now that he is in Acellus. I have really enjoyed the teachers as well as the material, I have learned a few new things as well! Thank you Acellus!!!

This school has been amazing for my child, who is on the spectrum. The courses are not self-taught; the teachers and instructional videos present material in the simplest, most engaging way. My son, who is 7 and in second grade, has straight As. He understands the concepts, and the school provides plenty of practice materials before exams. They also offer videos that students can revisit if they don’t fully understand something. The one-star ratings baffle me, as they suggest some parents may not be fully engaged with their child’s learning or lack understanding of how to use the app. Before enrolling your child, I highly recommend doing thorough research and checking out the demos on their website. Overall, we are beyond grateful for this online school. My child’s confidence has soared, he’s happy, and he’s truly learning and retaining the information!

Incredible science and math based learning that has taken my kid through classes at an accelerated pace compared to traditional schooling. She started Acellus Academy as a kindergartner and she is well ahead of many of her peers that she went to pre-k with. I love that this program allows to to retake some material so she can improve and excel. Please note that all the negative reviews are from parents who didn't do enough research about the program and put their kids in Acellus even though it didn't fulfill their requirements, Like Merissa, and Melissa below. Very misleading, because it doesn't mention any flaws in the program itself. One thing I can say is that you have to be self motivated to succeed, and I set the "steps" to a higher number so that we can move ahead of schedule and finish grades sooner. Also you will have to be able to help your child or get a tutor for things they may not understand right away, as no tutors are available, and if you ask a question you get a generic response hours or days later. I would rather keep costs low and figure it out with my kid. This program fulfills and exceeds my states homeschool requirements. Highly recommend as primary and supplemental education for anyone struggling in traditional school, or just wanting something more from education.
