I feel that sold me a lemon. Ever since I bought it I have been paying for parts in my car. I had told them when I bought this car the air wasn't working and the windows weren't going down on the driver side. The sales man told to bring it back and they would take care of. They gave me a loaner. While my vehicle was being fixed. It took them 2 weeks before I want to go pick it up. Month later the cooling fan went out I told them about . They said the couldn't fixed it. It had no warranty. I had to get someone else to do it . And right now it's at the shop being fixed now it's the engine. I have made my payments. Regularly and paying to fix my car. I live in a fix income. I feel like they owe some money back. I'm investing in this car. I have pay put in lots of money into this car. I don't have money to buy me another car. I wouldnt recommend this place to any of my family or friends.

I spent too long working for a company I knew didn't see me as more than a cog in the machine hoping it would improve. What is the best part of working at the company?If you are the type of person who likes to learn on the go and not have much regular observation from your manager/supervisor, you will enjoy any role. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Long hours from hourly store level to salary DM roles. Lots of constant trimming in the way of locations closing, titles/roles being discontinued, bare minimum training, bare minimum safety for store level employees, high turnover at every level and so many more things. All in all, the culture is poor. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Customer facing associates are locked in on 11 hour shifts with no breaks working single coverage and the DM's are stretched so thin they don't have time to support them, RVP's and above are so far removed from what happens at store level they raise expectations without resolving known issues and pit HR vs the DM's making the temp of culture very bitter and the environment becomes toxic.What is a typical day like for you at the company?At DM level your hair is on fire all day and even after the doors close, there is no rest. Even when on PTO, your are expected to work. At store level, all stores are single coverage with no break from 830AM to 715PM. Some stores may see 12 customers all day while other may see 100 and no matter what, you are expected to meet sales expectations at equal levels.

If you're looking for a scam, then you've found it. At first, when I was told I could receive between $2,000 and $8,000 unsecured, I was overjoyed. However, I couldn't understand how, seeing as my credit score was undoubtedly poor. I had spoken to the gentleman named Dominic, and not only was he rude when I couldn't hear him on the other line, but he was also very pushy. He kept telling me to read the contract thoroughly. Now, I'm not saying that a company shouldn't be honest with their customers about their contract, but the fact that he was so insistent about it concerned me. Upon receiving the loan document, I decided to take his advice seriously and read it carefully. In the loan document, if you do not have at least a 700 credit score, which I doubt anyone going to this company does, they're going to charge you either a $298 insurance fee or a $250 deposit fee that you may or may not get back within two days. And the kicker is they don't even check your credit until you sign the loan agreement, which basically locks you into a $150 fee no matter what happens! I found this extremely strange, as no reputable lending company would ever ask you for an insurance fee or a deposit fee for money that you probably don't even have. Then, on top of that, they will charge you a $150 fee if you sign the loan agreement and then try to back out, if you don't read carefully. This is all before you're even informed about how you'll receive your funds or when you'll be receiving your funds. On top of this, he was still pushy and insisted the fee was only if you decided not to pay the loan, as they would be losing money since there's no collateral. I politely told him that I would no longer like the loan, and thank goodness I did, or I would have been out $150, and probably more. I truly recommend that if there is a safer option or a more reputable company, you go to it. Do not use Ace Cash Express. If you need a loan company and you need one now, try Lendly or Uprova. You won't get scammed, and you'll get your money. On a final note, people like Dominic should be ashamed, trying to scam those who are down on their luck.

You cannot leave your office for entire shift, so it makes you feel like you’re stuck on box behind the security glass. They asking personal questions on how I qualified to get the money and how did I apply...LIKE WHAT?! Why are you asking personal questions and had me there for a hour to tell me they not gone cash it like I'm a scammer..smdh Aug 2 2024..Been a customer for 10 years + but after this I'm closing my account!!! Who ever is verify checks over 5000 needs to be fired!!

Went to apply for an emergency cash loan at a local Ace Cash Express. I Googled the place beforehand and saw a bunch of stellar reviews, so I assumed they’re a great, legitimate service. I did the application as normal, and assumed I’d get approved since I have in the past (plus my credit score is better now). In fact, whatever they were gonna offer me, I was going to legit tell them I only need $235 (very specific, because of the tight bind I’m in). I was authorizing forms via the keypad they have up front, and before the application was done, the gentleman helping me slid me a Google review card and said something along the lines of “And while we wait for this application to process, if you could scan this and leave me a Google review right now.” I thought it was odd that he wanted me to leave the review right now, but I accepted the card while paying attention to the keypad to act as if I was focused on the terms & agreements on the screen (but I definitely notated in my mind that this was odd and explained why their store has over 200 five star reviews that mention the agent by name). Once the application went through, he let me know I was denied. He handed me a document/receipt regarding the denial and said I can call the number to find out why I was denied; he also said I can go online and try reapplying there since most people get denied in person but approved online. I left the store and when I got to my car, the document shows my reason for denial as “Customer does not meet age restricted eligibility requirements”. Excuse me?! I’m not sure if the requirement is 18 years of age, 21 years of age, even 25 years of age, but I am definitely older than all 3 of those ages and the application had my correct birthday so there’s no way there was a “mistake” on the application. I now truly believe that they allow you to be approved after you’ve scanned and left a Google review right then & there, and if you don’t/decline, they change something in the computer from their end to get you denied (I noticed that when I pretended to pay no mind to leaving a review, he then started typing something on the computer). Also, I realized that as I arrived to the store, a gentleman was sitting on one of the chairs on his phone typing away but he was already in the process of being helped, and once he finished what he was doing on his phone, the agent said he was approved and handed him money. I was curious, so I went to the store’s Google reviews, and sure enough there was a new (less than an hour before) review from a man who looked like that guy! I definitely think this company is operating as a scam: will only allow you to be approved if you leave a 5 star review right then & there, or mess with your application to get denied when you don’t. I’m actually grateful I got “denied” because who knows what other shady financial stuff I would’ve fallen victim to. In fact, now I’m worried they have my information on hand and will sell it to third party companies. Do not do business with them, or even set foot in their store!
