I bought a beautiful home and I moved in end of April 2021. The fencing was done via company Abbeylawn fencing. At the end on 2021 I already noticed that the fencing on the side was already slumping over a little bit. The poles were lose and this got worse with the storms we had early 2022. Via the building company I was able to get in contact with Abbeylawn fencing at the end of January 2022. After a few weeks they came around (unannounced) and they stated that it was worse than they had anticipated. One of the poles (at the front part of the house) had snapped and there is no warranty on wooden polls. On the side Abbeylawn stated that the earth moved, so they didn’t take any ownership. Neither did the building company, even though the fence was under 2 years and we only moved in 9 months before I reported the issue. Abbey lawn provided me with a quote for concrete posts and base for the entire fence, but I would lose around a foot of garden space. This was discussed mid-February. Mid-April I received the request to share the pictures and they told me that they will most likely come around the 3rd week of April. I stated that before the work started, I wanted to discuss the plans and the cost. I did not wanted to lose a foot of my garden and I just wanted the concrete polls and base at the front part of the fence and the side fence to be repaired and secured. It is now end of May and I have not heard anything from them. There is no ownership, no clear communication, expectation management is non-existent, the fence job was done very poorly (new estate job), there is no pride for what Abbeylawn does and stands for, very poor.

After some minor hassles they did a great job on fence and gate for me. In fairness they came back and rectified the issue and am now delighted with the job. I would recommend them to anyone. John

Hi everyone just a quick word about my experience with Addylawns. I'm more than happy with the the way treat they're clients. I was able to pay off the shed over time so there was no big bill to deal with. The staff were wonderful especially Sheila. The lads who installed the shed were fast and polite. So an excellent service thanks to all the staff. Highly recommended

We required a new fence for the back garden. The people who fitted it were really pleasant to deal with and respectful of the property, they did a great job, worked efficiently, the pricing was competitive.

Ordered a garden shed almost 16 weeks ago was told I'd have it in 10-12 weeks, on week 12 I spent 2 weeks chasing them for an answer of when it would be delivered and I was finally given a date, a week before it was due to be delivered I got a hand drawn image over text asking which way I wanted the shed to sit, I ordered a 8x6 shed with a 2ft overhanging roof I was NOT informed when ordering it that by having the 2 ft overhanging roof I was going to lose 2ft of internal floor space, I paid extra for apparently a smaller shed I am not one bit happy but unfortunately I can't afford to wait for a bigger shed, upon delivery of the shed the 2 guys were lovely and fitted it in no time, but after they left I went to look at the shed and realised the shed delivered is not how it's supposed to be, the door and windows are on the wrong side despite having confirmed over message how I wanted it to look, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM ABBEYLAWN IF YOU WANT A SHED WITHIN THE ESTIMATED TIME FRAME OR IF YOU WANT WHAT You ACTUALLY ORDERED

Hello Samantha Sorry we were late with your shed but we have had a lot of delays with materials coming in to us. The reason i sent you 2 different drawings was to get the shed the way you wanted it made. I had a drawing of the shed made 2 different ways and show the floor sizes also. You replied back to me by text option 1 Which is the shed that went to you.

Gate fitted today.. We were told 4 to 6 weeks.. Delivered and fitted in 3 weeks. Would deffo recommend. Very good price. Gate hung in no time... 5 Stars

I rang them today and I was happy with the response that I got from them, they did not try any sales pitch with me and I am impressed that they reply to all respondents, good or bad. I will be actually making a visit next week and see what happens if I do business.
