I am so disappointed by my experience with Ms. Estorga. In a contentious custody modification case, precipitated by my child’s suicide attempt, fraught with multiple trial resets and inexcusable delays, the knife in the back was when she reset the 5th or 6th trial date according to her personal availability - without any discussion with me, and then withdrew as my attorney with false accusations that I was mistreating her and the staff. To add insult to injury, she then turned around and billed me $10K for trial work on a trial that never happened. I asked for another attorney in the firm to step in or for consultation services just so I could manage final trial as pro se, and Ms. Estorga’s responses to me were cruel and biting and so far from ethical professionalism that I hesitate to even write this review for concern of the response. As of right now, I “owe” an additional $4500, trial is looming, and I am basically having to start over on preparations, by myself. It’s exhausting and overwhelming, but I’m not sure that I would ever recommend any attorney again because it seems to have been not only the biggest waste of my financial resources, but more harmful than not to the well-being of my family. Response from the owner 43 minutes ago: We appreciate your feedback. While we strive to make sure that our firm is a fit for the clients we serve and they are a fit for us, sometimes that relationship does not serve the best interest of both parties and we reserve the right to terminate that relationship just as our clients reserve the right to also terminate that relationship. Our priority is that the clients are getting the right representation for them. My response: Seems like 2 years of representation and more than $20K in your pocket is a little late to be claiming “best fit” defense.

I reached out to West and West as they were the company who prepped our docs for a release of lien in 2016, not only did they not have any record of it or it was never recorded they charged us another $300 to prep the same docs for release of lien that was useless for us in our closing since the sellers from 2015 were out of the country. They were not informative nor helpful. BEWARE and please do your homework before asking for anything from this company.

Be ready to wait more than two weeks to get any information from Ruby or Julie. It was the worst experience with a law firm that I have every had. We missed our closing date on a home sale because they would not give us the pay off amount for a property that a client of theirs held the lien on.
