Having attended several workshops with World Photo Adventure, I can only give each one five stars. The French experience workshop. This is set in a beautiful Domaine in the south of France. The location is stunning and the décor inside just oozes with charm and originality for a period French Domaine. The opportunities to get creative are endless. The models are all extremely professional and will work with photographers to get the best images possible ,both experienced and novices alike The Hosts Wilf, Ghislaine(the best cook in France) and Espen all work together to make the whole experience a relaxed and enjoyable time. I have my name down for another visit, this will be my 4th, its that good. The Horses of the Camargue. Stopping in a lovely Gite in Mas de Pioch, this is surrounded by bird life, and very close to the salt marshes where they run the horses. This is a truly exhilarating experience photographing the horses gallop towards you at some speed. Again we were very well looked after by the hosts which made the workshop feel like a family. Nothing is to much trouble and the images gained are fantastic. Carcassonne photo tour. Again a great workshop which is a completely different style of photography to the other tours. Great tuition from professional photographer Damien Demolder. Which include landscape and street photography. Wilf was his useful helpful self and made sure the workshop went smoothly. All in all I have enjoyed all the workshops and can now count Wilf and Ghislaine as friends.

Carcassonne photo weekend: During October I met with 5 keen photographers in this charming and historic village. I had a wonderful time with the group, we were kept busy with landscape photography in the mornings and evenings, and during the day honing my skills as a street photographer, getting to know the local community. I'll be left with great memories of this weekend. Thank you to Wilf for your wonderful camaraderie.

I have just returned from the Carcassonne walking photo tour with Damien De Moulder. As I am an amateur, Wilf kindly provided me with a camera. I had a wonderful weekend, and Damien was demonstrating the effect of natural light, and the effect of shadows and different shapes We visited the market, and also the old Citie. We stayed in a beautiful BnB very central to all of the amenities. The group were friendly, chatty, and very helpful, and we had great laughs I am learning so much from my workshops and thoroughly enjoyed it. In June 2021 I attended my first ever photography workshop. It was the French experience workshop in a superb domaine in the South of France organised and run by Wilf James. As an amateur I found the whole experience so enjoyable. The group were so helpful. Wilf provided me with a camera as I had not purchased my own. I managed to achieve some nice images, and lovely memories of the group, food, and the most beautiful location. Thank you Wilf.

I have recently returned from World Photo Adventure's 4-night 'Camargue White Horses' workshop. Photographing these semi-wild horses has been on my bucket list for some time and I'm so glad that I chose this company. I felt apprehensive when I learnt that the other participants were professional photographers but Wilf and Espen soon put me at ease and they remained helpful and encouraging throughout. As well as photographing the horses in various different locations, we also had the opportunity to photograph the birds of the area, including flamingos, and the black bulls. We stayed in an unpretentious Camargue farmhouse or 'mas' with its own herd of black bulls known as a 'manade'. Our meals were cooked by Wilf's French wife in a nearby gite on the farm. The group ate together round a large table, creating a relaxed family atmosphere. The experience was altogether very enjoyable and I have some photographs to be proud of. Everything was included: airport pick-up and drop-off, accommodation, all meals and drinks and, last but not least, good company. All-in-all the workshop represented excellent value for money.

Photographing the white horses of Camargue has been on my bucket list for a very long time, so when I found World Photo Adventure and saw they were within my budget, I signed up. The experience with World Photo Adventure was beautiful. Wilf and Espen were so patient and kind to the whole group. We did a sunrise shoot and two sunset shoots. The sunrise shoot's location was changed because of the wind and the new location was beautiful but was a bit too small for the horses to pick up speed, don't get me wrong I got great shots but the location was not great. The second shoot was at a lagoon, that was nice and also very fun. It was muddy and we were trying to figure out who would fall first😊 The sun sets very fast and even though the light was good it did not last very long. The location would have been better for the horses if it had not been so muddy, they got tired very rapidly. The third location was at the sea, that site had not been scouted out by the guides and it could have been better. The location was chosen by the owner of the horses. Again not the best location but still got amazing photos. Actually that location had a lagoon on the other side of the beach and I believe it would have been a better location for the Lagoon photo shoot the night before. I cannot say enough about Wilf and Espen. They made us feel welcome right away. Wilf's French wife cooked the lunch and dinner, we all ate together and it was so charming, felt like a family. We stayed at a modest Camargue farmhouse called "mas" which is a working bull farm. The room I stayed in had just been renovated and was very comfortable; had a kitchenette, separate bedroom, nice shower. Overall the experience was fantastic, the only thing I would say would be that the sites to photograph should have been scouted in advanced and discussed with the owner of the horses Cabanes de Chacharel. Would I do this workshop with World Photo Adventure...ABSOLUTELY😊😊 and I am hoping that it is 4 days, I did the Autumn Workshop and planning on participating the the Spring one in a couple of years. This is a must see and do.

I have been on the 'French Experience' workshop twice with World Photo Adventure. I have no hesitation in giving a 5 star review and recommending the workshop. The stetting in the Chateau and the hospitality and cooking of your hosts Wilf and his are wife are second to none. Only Covid prevented me attending a third time.

Wow! What an incredible experience with beautiful people. From the get go, I felt like I was safe and connected with a family environment of the teachers, their family and friends and the other participants. Once in a lifetime experience with the magical Camargue horses and area. Just perfect! Many new photo skills learned and amazing connections made. Loved it!

Had a fantastic time with Wilf and Espen a few years ago. It was like a big family event with Wilfs wife Ghislaine doing some wonderful homemade meals for us. The days were spent either with the fabulous wild white horses of the Camargue running in the sea towards us, or on the beach and seafront taking photos. A very enjoyable and wonderful few days.

Five stars for the workshops organized by WPA in the beautiful Domaine des Jasses and the castle of Belflou! Very friendly and casual atmosphere, absolutely prime locations for photography (of all levels between beginner amateur and pro), excellent food etc. All this is the recipe needed to create great pictures together, with the emphasis on the words "create" and "together ". I'll definitely return.
