What a great experience! I absolutely love my hair. I went in to this experience nervous and not knowing what to expect, since I hadn’t cut or even trimmed my hair in almost 5 years, and had finally decided to chop it off and start fresh (ended up getting some highlights too which turned out super clean!). Art was extremely patient and kind and asked a lot of questions to make sure he gave me what I was looking for. I’m so glad I trusted him because my hair turned out AMAZING! He made the experience so fun and comfortable with his conversation, good music, and cool art in the salon; truly made me feel at home and eased my worries. Highly recommend for anyone, and especially folks with wavy/slightly curly hair texture (it’s always tough finding stylists who can work with your curls instead of against them) and I absolutely love my new hair!!

I live in SF but make it a point to go out of my way and see Art whenever I’m in town. He always manages to strike a balance between styles and ideas for cuts that I’m used to while pushing me to try new, exciting ideas that always leave me satisfied. Definitely check him out.

Works of Art is a wonderful space! It is whimsy and warm, full of plants and paintings on the wall. Beyond that, Art himself is very attentive and dedicated to hair; haircuts really are works of art here. I have very long curly hair and Art took the time and care to give it the volume and definition that it craved. 💕💕

Love, Love, Love my hair. The 5 hour drive was totally worth it. Art is a professional and was able to give me the hair cut and color I wanted. He is super talented and yes I will be coming back to get my hair done with only him from now on.

I called Art at 6:30pm Saturday night and I said I needed a cut. He stayed late for me, washed and conditioned my hair, gave me a beautiful Men’s salon style cut, and I’m feeling like a king. I Finally found a place that’s not strictly a barbershop! He’s my regular now.

Art is amazing! Superb blond highlights that look natural and didn't stress or dry out my hair. He is also the only stylist I've ever had who gives me a cut that keeps getting better as it grows out. Not kidding, he gave me -hands down- the best cut of my life and I only wish I would've found him sooner! He takes his time and works with you to get the best possible look for your hair texture, condition and lifestyle.

After meeting thousands of stylists at a hair show, I chose Art to cut my hair! He's extremely talented, patient, and considerate of my needs. He cut my hair super well and styled it very nicely. Highly recommend! His studio is also extremely beautiful, in a walkable neighborhood, has tons of natural light, airy, and open!

So glad I listened to the reviews here because I got a haircut from Art this past weekend and I don't want anyone else to cut my hair again!! I showed him inspo photos of layered cuts and he customized my hair to my face shape while still giving me the exact layered look I wanted! Very much recommend.

Art is the best hair stylist in LA! He’s a miracle worker, color or cut he can make it happen. Moreover, there’s no one better to sit and spend 4 hrs with - kind, funny, and personable. And the space is beautiful- some of the best sunset views. Cannot recommend him and the salon enough. 10/10.
