Best Ever These folks were the absolute best! Caring people who took great care of me and my family. Best snorkeling excursion I've ever been on and I've done many. Everything was wonderful!
This company may have good reviews for cruise ship excursions. However, their absolute disregard for snorkelers and divers near the shore by passing inside the moorings is completely inappropriate and dangerous. If they disregard safety precautions for other people, I would wonder how well they see after the safety of their passengers when they are in the water nearby.

Great Snorkling day, awesome crew! Used Woodwind for our snorkeling excursion while we were in Bonaire on a cruise. One of the best snorkeling excursions I’ve been on. Service was 5 stars from the moment we got on the catamaran to the time we got off. Extremely knowledgeable guides. Food and drinks whenever you needed/wanted them. We had a challenging day as it was extremely windy and they adjusted snorkeling spots to make it more enjoyable as the water was pretty choppy. Everything right down to the fact they had prescription goggles for people that have glasses. Always attentive to the experience you are having in and out of the water. Also we had a tight window for our port day in Bonaire and they were right on time and close to the port so no issues making it back on board. Would highly recommend them.

Put this snorkel trip on your Bonaire bucket list even if you are a devoted suba diver. The Woodwind snorkel tour is excellent. They use a catamaran and sail over to Kleine Bonnaire. The entire experience is well done, good food, drinks, amazing sevice, all snorkel gear is proviced, including a wet suit or a skin if you need or want one,. The tour lasts about 5 hours with 3 seperate excursions onto the reefs. This is my forth year on the tour. I love it and it is a great value,

Best snorkeling excursion ever!! They only allow 18 guests which is great and their service is over the top!! They provide all snorkeling equipment. The goggles are prescription! My husband has never been able to really see when he was snorkeling so that was extremely exciting for him! They have everything you need including rash guards and wet suits if you want to use them. They give us drinks as soon as we set sail including water, soda, beer, wine and rum punch. We had cookies, orange slices and raisin bread (Dutch type) to snack on between our stops. We had 3 stops, each one a little different than the other and each one was about 45 minutes of snorkeling time. We were separated into two groups, each with an amazing guide that pointed stuff out and the boat kind of follows you while you snorkel so that it's easy to get back to it. They had us grab onto a rope to take turns getting back onto the boat and they take your flippers off of you instead of you having to hold on with one hand while taking flippers off! After our last stop they gave us a fantastic lunch followed up with cheesecake! They weren't stingy with the drinks at all either! It was a 5 hour glorious day for $85/person, which is incredible!

Superb! Another fantastic day with Woodwind. It is incredible what they can supply on this ship - love the prescription masks - and the delicious lunch! They even managed to supply gluten free cookies and meal for my friend. If in Bonaire you must take this trip!

Unieke snorkeltour.

Amazing snorkeling and service It is a really special time on the guided snorkels with the Woodwind. The boat is clean, comfortable, and the crew are great. Plus they can loan you anything from snorkels, masks, fins, rash guards and more. The 4-hour tour includes beverages and a nice lunch. The free diving staff are able to point out amazing sea creatures. Loved it!

Lives up to the Hype Woodwind provides everything you need for a wonderful three snorkel experience. Good safety briefing before you get in the water, eauipment is checked and noodles provided if you need extra flotation. There were fewer passengers in January 2022 due to COVID and that meant a more personal experience and lots of attention from the guides. We were lucky to spot several sea turtles along with colorful parrot, blue tang, spotted drum and lion fish, We were thrilled when our catamaran was surrounded by a pod of bottlenose dolphins. Plenty of rum punch, snacks and an Asian style meal filled out a lovely day.

Top attractie!!

Doesn’t get any better! We’ve been on dozens of snorkel trips throughout the Caribbean and this was by far the best. Not only were the snorkel sites unbelievably filled with underwater beauty, Woodwind charters did an amazing job in giving us an unforgettable day. The crew was fantastic, we did three snorkel stops, a full hot lunch, plenty of nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and high-quality snorkel gear including prescription goggles and snorkel shirts. It was all drift snorkeling, so we didn’t have to swim great distances back to the boat. They came and got us. The guide dove down and showed us all the wonders in the water. And an onboard photographer captured the day beautifully. Highly highly highly recommend!

As Good As It Gets We always try to find a snorkel tour on at least one of our port stops when we are on a cruise, or at any of our destination vacations. We booked with Woodwind at the recommendation of a fellow cruiser. We have snorkeled in many different locations in many countries over the years, including Australia/Mexico/Honduras/Grand Turk/US Virgin Islands; and I can say that this is easily one of the best experiences we have had. This is a 'drift snorkel' so you are dropped into a location and then you drift with the tide for 30-40 minutes at each stop, are picked up by the catamaran (which paces alongside you) and taken to the next stop. This is the most amount of time in the water, and the least amount of physical work we have ever had on any snorkel trip. The group is small, which is one of the key reasons we booked this tour. We only had 12 plus the crew on ours, with 16 plus crew being the largest number they accommodate. We took a 45 minute sail across to Klein Bonaire and then we were split into two groups with one guide per group, plus the Captain looking out over all of us. We snorkeled three different locations. Location #1 - deep water, good coral, amazing sea life. Location #2 - shallow and medium depth with a large drop-off. Good coral and sea life. Location #3 - shallow and medium depth with a big drop off on one side, with outstanding coral and sea life. Between the three stops we saw thousands of fish (no joke) including puffer fish, cat-sharks, parrot fish and large schools of damsel fish, as well as turtles, squid, octopus, and a 4' barracuda! What sets Woodwind Apart: 1. There is unlimited soda, water, beer, punch and rum punch throughout the tour. 2. They provide everything. Not only do they provide clean, sanitized, good quality snorkeling gear, but they also have prescription masks, swim shirts, wet suits and as much reef friendly sunscreen as you need. 3. On the way back you are served a large portion of a delicious noodles and fried chicken dish; no name for the dish, I asked, with plenty of fresh veggies mixed in. It was absolutely wonderful and just what you need after hours and hours of snorkeling. This was our first visit to Bonaire and I must say we couldn't have been more impressed. We will absolutely take this tour again on our next visit, and absolutely recommend this tour to anyone, beginner to advanced.

Elke cent waard!

Great sunset cruise! My wife and I were looking for a private sunset cruise and because my wife can get a little queasy if the boat rocks too much we really wanted a catamaran. We found out about the Woodwind through a local diving guide (Yago of 4 Wheel Diving). Yago made some phone calls and helped get our cruise set up on the day of our 14th wedding anniversary. Esa and Capt Sandro were our crew and they were fantastic! One day we hope to live on a catamaran in retirement, so we love sailing on them whenever we get a chance. Capt Sandro and Esa were so fun to talk to and they were very helpful in answering all of my boating/sailing related questions. We took a nice leisurely sail up the west side of Bonaire and then circled around Klein Bonaire as we made our way down to the southern tip of Bonaire. After the sun had set, we made our way back up the coast to the Woodwind's home pier again. During our trip Esa was very attentive and made sure we never lacked for drinks and also prepared a very fabulous local dish for us all to eat as well. Desert was provided too. There's just something calming about water and sailing and Esa and Capt Sandro and the Woodwind were perfect to finish off a special day for us. If you get the chance, take a stroll with the Woodwind and her crew; you won't be disappointed.
