I have trusted them with all of my animals for the last 8 years, and I highly recommend them.

When we were visiting Edmonton from out of province, we noticed our puppy had a swollen and tender snout. We walked into the clinic and they booked us in within an hour. The front desk staff, vet techs, and vet were all so so kind to not only our puppy, but to us as well. They took time to answer every single question we had, presented us with options, and really cared about our puppy's health after she had been discharged from their care. Their prices are also very reasonable (we were surprised at how inexpensive surgery and a full days care was). If you are in Edmonton and looking for a vet, we highly recommend Windermer Vet Hospital! They are so great!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I have seen multiple vets at this location and they are all the kindest people. Ive brought my cat here a lot recently for urinary issues and its clear that they truly care about your pet and put them first. They are patient and take time to explain things and give you all your options instead of just pushing things onto you. They go above and beyond and I will continue to bring my cat here. Receptionists are absolutely wonderful to deal with as well. Clearly the people at this clinic love what they do.

Best vet I've ever been to! When my cat had repeated urinary obstructions, I thought I was going to lose him; we tried everything, but he kept getting sicker. When we ran out of other options, Dr Wood was able to perform a very delicate soft tissue surgery that most vets won't even touch. She did it flawlessly, and she and Dr Boctor were both fantastic during the follow-up period as he healed. They were always compassionate and knowledgable! The team here was willing to take the time to explain exactly what was going on at every step of the process so I was making informed choices, answered all the questions I had before going ahead with surgery, were conscious of how much his treatment had already cost and helped me make decisions I could afford without compromising his care, and were very patient during his recovery (especially as I was calling the clinic almost every day for the first little bit with questions about his care, wound, and medications!). He was a very difficult cat to handle in clinic, and the whole team was wonderful with him and willing to do what they could remotely to save him the stress of unnecessary visits. The team here saved his life, my best friend is alive and thriving because of them, and I'd recommend this clinic to anybody!

Refreshing to deal with honest people whom place a personal interest in your pets health.

Be careful of your bill and documentation when you come here. I was billed for the wrong animal (not even the right species) and had to have the payment updated. Another time, they underestimated the amount of a prescription. If I had known the actual cost, I would have gone with a different medication. Then when it was time for my cat's next vaccine, the documents from this hospital were incorrect so that at my new vet, my cat got a vaccine that she didn't need and she almost wasn't able to get the vaccine that she did need. I was still charged for both vaccines, even though she didn't need one of them. The whole vaccine process took double the time it should have because of the confusion. On top of that, when I asked the Windermere hospital vet what food is best for my cat, I was told that any dry or wet cat food is fine. I know different foods are higher and lower quality so this was very unhelpful. Overall, I wouldn't bring my cat or any pet back here.

I just want to show and give a very much and well deserved Thank You and the biggest hugs and love to all the staff at Windermere animal hospital in Edmonton for today when we needed you, you all were there for us!! Outstanding and what an amazing surgical procedure and no one has such love and compassion for animals as these folks right there!!! I love you all and will be forever greatful...words are not enough!!! Xoxoxo

We've been going to Windermere Vet Hospital for just over 4 years now. Even though we moved to a more central location, we continue to come here for the care of our pups. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, and the team also seems to keep themselves updated on current best practices. Between when we got our first and second pup, they made different recommendations on timeline for neutering for example based on new findings. We've had both our dogs neutered here, as well as a hip surgery for our oldest. We've always had good experiences and the team is diligent about following up after any appointments or calls of concern. Can't recommend them enough!

We almost lost our 4 year old pup. He swallowed some foam which expanded in his stomach and blocked his intestine. Dr. Boctor has always been amazing, and Dr. Madsen stepped up and did an emergency surgery to save Harold. This was a very serious situation since Harold didn't eat for almost a week, lost a lot of weight and needed overnight stays on an IV. But, through Windermere's Vet Hospital's guidance and Dr. Madsen's excellent surgery skills, our boy is recovering and really turning the corner. If you're reading this review, looking for a vet for your best friend ... stop, and call them. You won't regret it.
