Black pepper chicken puff taste good good. Seller friendly friendly. I eat eat every day. Recommend recommend.
At $2 each, their signature original curry puff features hand-rolled, thinner pastry designed to remain crisp while holding a generous filling without becoming overly greasy. It made for a satisfying savoury snack between meals.
Very surprised by the taste of the puff and the bread. I tried their new yogurt bread and it was very good highly recommend
Great curry puff, the yogurt twist is a must buy!
Tried the original puff from What The Puff and really enjoyed it! It has a generous amount of filling and the skin is super crispy. Every bite is really satisfying and flavourful.
I even had it during my university lecture, so it is a great option for people who have little time for proper meals. Convenient, filling and easy to eat on the go :)
Bought the puff this morning. Similar quality to that of a well known brand. The puff cost $2.50 while its competitor's prices are around $2. Why is there a 20% overcharge? For this reason, I would rather buy from another stall. Just my personal choice.
Tasted all of their flavors… Charsiew is my favorite. I don’t like spicy foods but i also like their potato curry puff ❤️
Tried the Char siew flavour Curry puff. Super innovative.
Crust- 5/5 buttery aromatic, adds a nice texture.
Filling- 5/5 char siew is tender and generous, even comes with egg!
Overall great dish, served warm and fresh.
Will recommend.
Comforting Singaporean old school bakery delight with a touch of innovation.
Very nice curry puff. Worth the money. If you are around Haig road market, you should get one to try.
The uncle is always black face though, so just ignore.
3.5 stars. Service by the young lad is nice. Original curry puff is plump and I like the pastry. The only thing is the curry filling, which is on the drier side, is mild and lacks the tastes of curry spices in my opinion. It needs abit more oomphz, if you know what I mean. But still, a okay curry puff if this is your type.
Not sure why review so high. Fried youtiao tastes horrible. Took one bite and threw away. Curry puff so so for price. Just buy hong lim one better.
Auntie doesn't know what she is selling.
Ordered four flavours: cheese curry, original curry, sardine, and black pepper. The crust of the curry puff was crispy with a thin skin. All the fillings were great, but just a heads-up that the sardine was quite spicy.
Very nice flakey curry puffs. Slightly greasy but very tasty.
Only thing is they weren't ready at 730am as stated on their website. Wanted to use the $3 hawker discount with the Sg qr code which the lady insisted was valid with the paylah screen on the cashier which I knew wasn't but thinking she'd know better, I just gave it a try.
Turns out it wasn't valid, as expected. Would be good if the staff were familiar with these different processes as well.
Tried the Original Puff for $2 and really enjoyed it. The pastry was crispy and satisfying, with a tasty classic filling - good value for a quick snack
What caught my attention was the surprisingly wide selection of flavours, including sardine, cheesy curry, char siew chicken and black pepper chicken. Quite a few interesting varieties that I would like to come back and try next time
