The vet gave detailed explanations and was very upfront with costs. Gave us multiple options for treatment. Was a pleasant experience. Definitely reccomend!

Good service and fair pricing. Edit: so after my last visit I have to change this review. We brought our dog in due to chronic ear infection from severe food allergies, we’ve had the treatment here before. I Made sure to ask for the exact same treatment as last time when making the appointment. When I got there I was made to wait almost 30 minutes (no warning from them about being behind schedule, or consideration for the fact that I had other appointments to be at) and when the vet finally came in, I explained it was the exact same issue as last time and asked for the same medication as it had worked well for the ear infections (we had discussed at the last appointment the likely need for regular treatments with this medication. Dr. Geers felt her chest and put his stethoscope on her for about 5 seconds, all of this taking a grand total of about 30 seconds. Somehow they justified calling that a $90 exam, even though we were very clear and it was very obvious what was needed. We were not made aware of these extra charges nor did the vet mention them when he told me it would be $60 for the medication. When we called for an explanation we were rudely told that we needed the exam to get the meds, even though that was not the case last time. Maybe they change their policy on a case by case basis, I don’t know. I do know I’ll be taking my animals elsewhere from now on.

West vets made a life saving reccomendation to get my cat into Okotoks. When I brought her in they were very upfront with the care she would need and the potential costs. Compassionate and truthful and did not string me along at all. If not for their reccomendation she would not be here.

We brought our cat in a couple days ago. Dr Geers was so compassionate and kind. Our girl passed over peacefully and we are so grateful for the staff who made a hard day easier.

I cant say enough about this clinic. They are so wonderful, compassionate and accommodating. All of the staff are so kind and made a very difficult time for us saying goodbye to our dog a little bit easier. You can tell that they genuinely care about your pet and you. Thank you very much for everything.

WestVets was amazing today when my dog was bitten by another dog and I took her in there. I was a mess and all of the staff were so amazing! My dog was not a current client but that didn't matter. They made sure she got all the care she needed!! 10/10 would recommend!

WestVets is an exceptional veterinary clinic. My 7 month old Pomeranian was admitted as an emergency patient for a broken front leg. She was diagnosed, treated and referred to a specialist. She was attended to with compassion, care and expertise. We are from Calgary and wished that we were from Lethbridge to continue vet care with this outstanding clinic and Dr. Geers and staff.

Took my two pups here for checkups and vaccines. Wonderful support staff, kind and calm veterinarian. Will be back for all of our pets' future veterinary needs! They also have the dog scale built into the floor. This might not seem that big of a deal, but trust me, it makes a huge difference!!!

When we discovered our cat had a fatal disease and had to put him down, everyone on staff was nothing short of compassionate. Their prices are fair and these people genuinley care about animals and their owners. Thank you West vet, when we are ready for another cat, we will make sure to make you our go to vet again.

I have had to bring my dogs in multiple times and I've always had nothing but 5 star service, whether it be the front end to the techs and assistants and Dr.Geers, working with my nervous girl to my overly happy boy they have been wonderful and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a new clinic for as long as I have pets they'll be west vets patients.

Called in for a last minute appointment. Not normally the vet I normally go to, I was referred by another clinic to WestVets. I was very happy they had time to see Bruiser and address his needs before the weekend. Dr. Geers is transparent and kind about what is happening for your animal and is upfront about costs. Overall, a great experience at WestVets. Would bring Bruiser back again in the future. Thanks again for getting us in on short notice!

Extremely friendly and helpful. Got my cat in the same day and took great care of him.

We recently took our dog to Italy and there is A LOT of very detailed paperwork that must be done for this. West Vets did an amazing job of handling every detail. They were wonderful with our dog and with us.
