The people in charge of the place are very disrespectful. They don't know how to treat people. I was asking about their place, PCR testing and their activities then suddenly the one in charge replied to me by saying "I hope your not wasting my time". This is by no mean a way to treat future guests. He was very rude. He didn't even care when I told him I will write a bad review about you. Their prices are unreal. PCR testing costs 75$ while neighboring guesthouses do it for 40$. Other activities cost double the usual price which is a big fraud. Their prices are even more than resorts. I highly don't recommend going there.

This guest haven’t stayed with us but was enquiring about the prices for excursions. Our prices for activities are published on our website since 2018.

West Sand I like the style of the hotel West Sand. H Breakfast, lunch and dinner are buffet style. The selection is varied and all the food is delicious. coffee and yes is available. Personal is nice and professional managers take care of you every day Hotel has pleasant holiday atmosphere. A couple of steps from the hotel is a beautiful and long bikini beach. I like to return this hotel.

Perfect stay close to the beach A very calm and cozy hotel well situated close to the beach. The staff is very helpful and professional no matter what. Upon arrival they picked us up from the ferry and drowe us the short trip to the hotel in order to get us there quick and easy. Very handy I say. Nice breakfast and dinnerrestaurant.

My stay at West Sands was great. Over all experience was superb. The staff was really very helpful since i was traveling with my 3 years old son and the support from their staff was worth appreciating specially Mr Kiran he was really very helpful throughout out my stay and made my stay really very comfortable with my kid . I would like to take few more names who made my stay very comfortable was Mr Hardy, Mr Yusuf and Mr Ismail. Really appreciate it.

Very good hotel with humble staffs. Manager Hardy was really friendly and communicative over whatsapp. Hotel is located in a prime area just opposite to the tourist beach. House keeping is also good. They keep the room very clean and neat.

Not worthy Food was mediocre and expensive for such low quality. Half of the items on the à la carte menu were not available and those available were not good. Also there was a rat roaming in the dining area and the staff said it was not a rat (?!?) even a German lady was so scared that she left. They should adjust the prices aligning with the low quality and also clean better the place.

I can't have picked a better place for my parents to spend 2 weeks in Maldives. Working with West Sands - right from Booking all the way to Check-Out was the best experience. The team and staff (Hardy, Najab) were highly communicative, even through Whatsapp, and gave me all the required updates when I was unable to reach my parents. They co-ordinated return transfer from the airport, ensured my parents got a boat to the island even thought their flight coming in to Male was delayed and they'd missed the departure time for the first boat, arranged for their Covid tests to be completed per all requirements, and accommodated all their requests with respect to food. Food was very healthy and had a ton of variety, and their rooms have the best view and beach access.The staff even went out of their way to get my father's phone repaired when it stopped functioning, and helped them feel comfortable just as family would. TIP: Please book directly with them through their website to get the best deal, and also support local Maldives economy rather than go through Agents based in your country.

We had a rough start at the hotel with a broken flush, broken wash basin and a not so great room. But hats off to the hotel staff and kiran, who at an odd hour of the day tried to fix everything for us. They also offered to change the room for us to offer us a better hospitality. Naja was always available to answer the questions. Hardy is loved by all the guests here, he is best at what he is doing. Thanks to the head boy Kiran, ever little thing we wanted, he managed it for us. We will be visiting back soon. We had a wonderful stay. PS they have a tabe tabletop football ⚽️
