Reviews about front desk being rude are TRUE. Called in to see if can transfer to this office, whoever picked up a phone was rude and extremely unprofessional. No greeting, no positive attitude and at the end topped it off with "anything else?" Sounded like she was already annoyed that she even had to pick up this phone (I called at 9:05am). Told me that they don't accept our insurance but even if they did I would choose to go elsewhere. Avoid this place!!!!
After waiting for 1.5 hours, the doctor is still with another patient before she can see us. What’s the point of making an appointment then? The nurse asked me if I want to come back at another time? Seriously?

Thank you for sharing your experience. We sincerely apologize for the long wait and the frustration it caused. We understand how valuable your time is, and we’re sorry that your appointment did not start as scheduled. While we strive to stay on time, there are occasions when a patient’s needs require more attention than expected, which unfortunately can impact following appointments.
Your feedback is very important to us, and we’ll be reviewing our scheduling process to help minimize situations like this. Please reach out to our office directly so we can discuss this further and make things right. We truly appreciate your patience and the opportunity to care for you.

Dr. Godfrey truly lives up to her excellent reputation. After an initial setback with the front desk, the clinic staff became incredibly responsive and supportive. The nurses were friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Godfrey was outstanding – professional, considerate, and great with explanations and advice. My kids adored her. We are very satisfied and grateful for the excellent care

We switched to Dr. Avvocatto and are very happy. She is bright, seasoned, well-rounded and really took her time. She addressed everything from diet to friendships and screen time with our 10 year old son. She also walks the talk as she looks and acts like someone who cares about her own physical and mental health.

Longtime Patients (2 children) Deeply Disappointed by Front Office Experience
I’ve been bringing my two children to this practice for nearly a decade, and I have nothing but praise for the doctors! They are attentive, professional, and genuinely care for their patients. That said, it pains me to write this, but the front office experience has deteriorated to the point that I can no longer recommend this practice as a whole.
Over the past two weeks, both my children's father and I have called—separately—requesting a dermatologist referral. He called first, I followed up a week later, and neither of us received a response. It's not just the lack of follow-up that’s concerning, it’s the complete absence of empathy or engagement from the front desk. The energy at the front line feels indifferent at best, and that sets the tone for the entire patient experience.
As someone who works on the front lines in my own profession, I know just how vital that first touchpoint is. It's the bridge between the patient and the care team. And right now, that bridge is broken.
I’ve even offered to take a referral from any doctor in the practice—this isn’t about waiting for one particular provider. I’ll continue calling until I get a recommendation because my children need care, but it shouldn’t be this hard.
What’s most frustrating is that there’s no clear path to share this feedback directly with the doctors. It feels like the front office acts as a barrier, not a gateway. That’s not just inefficient, it’s harmful to the practice’s reputation and growth on referrals. That is how we became patients.
I’m sharing this NOT out of anger, but because I want this office to thrive. I’m truly hoping this review makes its way past the front desk and office manager and directly to one of the physicians who oversees the practice. If I can be part of the solution, I’d gladly offer support or suggestions to help improve the front-office experience. The doctors deserve better representation, and so do the families who trust this practice with their children’s care.

Friendly, understanding and caring. My family and I are lucky to have found Dr. Godfrey as our kids pediatrician. I only wish she would take adults as patients.
