I saw lots and lots of birds I saw the first indigo bunting I’ve ever seen. I saw some Canada geese, and I saw a shrike by the swamp.

This is nothing fancy. A nice area to park off the road and either watch birds from a bench or Picnic Area or from your car.

It is a very peaceful place to go. Easy walk in nature. You can be quiet in the presence of your surroundings. Very calming. They have improved it a great deal and it is still under renovation.

Peaceful location. As you calmly walk the paths you see birds everywhere. Several areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Hiking areas. Picnic area. Large parking area. Support this location.

My favorite hometown getaway! If you sit long enough you will see multiple types of birds. You may even see the majestic white herons. I always see community members working to keep it beautiful just for us! ☺️

Great for kids. Short walks. Bird watching. Picnic tables. Book Box. No restrooms. Watch for the goose poop near the water. Check your pups paws for splinters from the new soft mulch on the trail.

Very relaxing area to walk through. If you're lucky you will see some wildlife about. I usually see alot of squirrels and chipmunks roaming around. Once in a while some deer will roam through. My favorite is watching the geese and sand pippers land in the water. It's a wonderful and tranquil place in town. The only downside is the graffiti that people feel compelled to carve into benches and gazebos. There are cameras throughout, I hope they catch the punks and make them do some volunteer work.

Really cool place for birders, or for anyone who just wants a stroll through woodland and grassland habitats for migratory birds! (Although I only identified an American Robin, a house Finch, and a red winged blackbird)
