I feel like Mr Wellborn should have a plant in Auburn Al a day and all I bet it will blow up all on the news making headlines
I am also very disappointed in the quality of these cabinets and the company’s customer service. We have Welborne cabinets throughout our house. The finish is coming off, is uneven in some places, and it looks like I’ve sprayed bleach on the doors . When I called the manufacturer to see if I could get replacements for some drawers and cabinet drawer faces, they told me they don’t provide replacements. I wasn’t asking to receive them for free. I was willing to pay for them to replace the defective ones. I also called back to see if I could get a stain to possibly re-stain the cabinets. They told me they used Sherwin Williams stain, but when I went to Sherwin Williams they had no idea what I was talking about. It’s sad they can’t provide a better quality product or at least provide better customer service. I really regret purchasing these cabinets.

Poor quality
I would give no Stars.. since I had to give one to wrote a review. Well let be by saying wellborn cabinets are definitely not high quality. A home built in 2017 and in 2022 the cabinets are peeling. I have reached out and of course no warranty on them. Painting them isn’t an option. Stay away from this company. I have another home that have cabinets that have been holding up since 2000 sad to see that this company dare to say they have highest quality cabinets and American made. Customer service should be number 1 priority.

Buyer Beware: Poor Quality and Zero Accountability from Wellborn Cabinets
I invested over $80,000 in Wellborn cabinets for a full kitchen remodel, trusting their reputation for high-quality, American-made products. What I received, however, was deeply disappointing — both in terms of product quality and customer service.
Right out of the box, there were glaring quality issues. The paint finish was inconsistent, with visible rub marks, blemishes, and thin coverage that left areas of raw wood exposed. Several cabinets arrived with cracked frames, and the $80-per-can touch-up spray paint was not even a close match to the cabinet color.
Even more troubling, some drawer faces had staple holes punched right through the front, clearly a manufacturing defect. When replacements were sent, they were noticeably darker than the rest of the cabinetry, leaving us with mismatched, uneven finishes.
After raising concerns through our contractor, the Wellborn Account Manager West and District Sales Manager visited our home. They spent time documenting over 100 photos of finish flaws, structural damage, and poor workmanship. A formal report was prepared — and then five months passed with no resolution.
Despite the overwhelming evidence, Wellborn ultimately refused to take any corrective action. No replacements, no repairs, not even a partial remedy. I attempted to escalate the issue by contacting the Director of Customer Service multiple times — via voicemail, email, and even LinkedIn — but received no response. I gave them a full week to respond, hoping for some good faith effort to make things right, and was completely ignored.
At this point, my only recourse is to warn other homeowners and remodelers. If you're considering Wellborn cabinets, think very carefully before investing your money. What should have been a dream kitchen turned into months of frustration, empty promises, and ultimately, a brand that refused to stand behind its product.
Wellborn markets itself as a premium cabinet maker, but what I experienced was subpar craftsmanship and a complete lack of accountability. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
We went with a local kitchen company (ACW Kitchens) to install Wellborne cabinets, after much disappointment and damage to our home we had to fire ACW. Is is that the cabinets we received and were installed have manufacturing defects. One has a chipped panel and 2 have misaligned frames. We contacted Wellborn and they told us there was nothing they could do and we had to work through our installer, even after explaining our situation and that the installer was not going to do anything about it we were essentially told tough luck.

This place is a ring of fire. Employees can wear anything revealing they can been seen in parking lot and around building have sexual encounters while also witnessing sales of drugs. From the supervisors to employees can be heard non stop talking about non work related stuff and continuously discussing sexual interactions and showing pics of privates. Employees that try report get ignored or incident be investigated and then gets reported it was found as a lie Supervisors obviously are not monitoring employees conduct or whereabouts and security obviously don't patrol the inside or outside to catch this hanis behavior that also creates a hostile work environment. This place does not care what goes on or who does what as long as cabinets go out. Mr. Welbourn your staff in leadership roles and your security are not monitoring employees. Your cameras obviously not working either. Your paying employees not working on your clock doing things that goes against equal opportunity. I had a family member work here and had to quite due to environment. I have a lot of proof to support this review.
We recently used Wellborn Cabinet in our kitchen renovation, and they exceeded our expectations. The cabinets are exceptional quality. We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend.

I bought my home in 2021 and it already had Wellborn Cabinets installed. I knew because they brand the inside of their drawers on some product lines. My assumption was that they'd been installed within the past few years based on the condition, but I was surprised when the previous told me they were the original cabinets from when the house was built in 2004! When it comes time to update for appearances rather than functionality; I'll be choosing Wellborn Cabinet again.

Poor quality
POOR QUALITY FROM THIS BRAND! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!
Do not be sucked in by their claims on outstanding workmanship on the construction of their cabinets. We have been repeatedly rejected on a warranty claim due to poor construction and paint discoloration after only 5 years since install. Immediately blamed installation. They wouldn’t even send a manufacturers rep out to inspect what is obvious…POOR CONSTRUCTION!!!. The company we used for our kitchen remodel came out immediately, noticed the problem and contacted Wellborn too.
Without an on-site visit from a Wellborn rep and using only photos I provided they immediately passed it off as poor installation. IT ISN’T THE WAY THEY WERE INSTALLED.
How is discoloration an installer’s fault???? Back wall of pantry cabinet is coming apart due to undersized nails. Again, how is this installer’s fault??
So DO NOT get enamored by their warranty sales pitch. They blamed everything on the installation when it’s not. Really second guessing our choice. Sounded good at the sale but a total failure on the warranty.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!!
