Einfach top! ☺Super freundliches Personal, sehr sauber und geniale Lage! Wir durften früher einchecken und durften auch deutlich länger im Zimmer bleiben. So konnten wir vor der Weiterreise noch duschen, ein Traum! ☹Nichts!

Excellent and would highly recommend. ☺ We had a fantastic time here. The team were so welcoming, our room was excellent and very clean, and they surprised us with a flower decoration for our honeymoon. The location was perfect, close to the beach and quiet. ☹ The train is pretty close and runs through the night however the room is well insulated so we didn’t really hear it.

Perfect stay! ☺ This wasbest accomodation so far from all the months i ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Staff is extremely friendly and time to time i was thinking about “we people from europe, we are not really ready for that big kindness they can give to us”. Just the stay here, environment, staff, privacy and almost brand new facility is amazing combination of comfort and everything what you need. Highly recommended!

Short but enjoyable stay, excellent value for money. ☺ We were really impressed with this hotel. It’s quite small and in a beautiful setting. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was perfect, spotlessly clean and everything you needed was there. The bathroom was huge with a lovely big shower! Large comfortable bed and really good air conditioning. We would happily stay here again!

Go for it! ☺ We stayed repetadely here and were convinced again it is a very good choice. Very comfortable a precisly clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

☺Ein familiengeführtes und sehr tolles Hotel etwas abseits von der Hauptstrasse, was den Vorteil hat, dass man schnell zum Strand kommt und andererseits seine Nachtruhe hat. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Hervorheben möchte ich das außergewöhnliche Personal, dass die Extrameile für seine Besucher geht. Das Hotel wird rund um die Uhr bewacht, die Zimmer sehr sauber gehalten und das Frühstück ist sehr üppig mit Saft, Früchten, Eierspeise und lokalen Süßspeisen. Das Team ist sehr engagiert und aufmerksam. Ich kann wärmstens empfehlen, hier ein paar Tage zu nächtigen. ☹Nichts.

Fantastic! ☺ Fantastic accomodation. Lovely staff and great communication. We really enjoyed our stay here, probably the best staff and breakfast we experienced in Sri Lanka. Also, we were lucky that we were allowed the room on the day of check out to 5pm when taxi arrived so we could explore and then shower before leaving. We will definitely recommend this place and would stay again if we visit hikkaduwa

Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! ☺Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Weleges Place sehr genossen. Die Gastfamilie und das gesamte Personal sind äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend und sorgen dafür, dass der Aufenthalt unvergesslich wird. Das Frühstück ist reichlich, das Zimmer wird sehr sauber gereinigt, und die Installationen sind modern und einwandfrei. ☹Everything was perfect.

Peaceful, made to feel and home and great location! ☺ Lovely staff, you can tell it’s a family run business. Rooms were lovely and clean. Comfortable bed and loved how close it was to the beach, super central and also peaceful which is nice. We had everything we needed, even offered beach towels and always a friendly smile. ☹ One thing that would add to our stay would be a free water cooler for guests. Lots of hotel have them and it’s great for accessing ongoing free water via filling up our own drink bottles. If we wanted more water than the two small bottles we were given, we had to buy them.

10/10 stay! Beautiful hosts and excellent accommodation ☺ 10/10 we stayed 2 nights in upstairs rooms with the huge connecting balcony and it was perfect for us. The photos are 100% accurate. Huge comfortable air conditioned rooms with nice beds and pillows and large bathrooms with a walk in rain shower and balcony. Big shout out to the hosts who were absolutely delightful and obliging, we could not have wished for more. The accommodation is in a quiet location tucked away from the busy loud vibe of Hikkaduwa but it is a very easy 5 minutes walk to all the cafes, shops, beach, ATM (and wine shop if you enjoy a drink on the balcony after a busy hot day!) No hassles WiFi! So glad we chose this for our stay! ☹ Nothing - everything was perfect for us

Superb Hotel ☺ The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. ☹ The location was good only a 5 min walk from the beach - I thought it was literally just round the corner from the beach when booking the hotel - this was a minor issue.

WONDERFUL ☺ It was all fantastic and whilst we were very close to the sea, a pool would have added just that extra bit of a lovely touch. Staff amazing and always smiling. ☹ Nothing - everything was just great. If I am being really picky, just a little more coffee in the room each morning. We dont drink tea!!

So saubere Zimmer haben wir selten auf der Welt gesehen, sogar der Fließenboden war nicht nur für's Auge gewischt. Wir sind absolut dankbar dafür, dass Besitzer und Personal den Sinn für solch einladende Sauberkeit und Qualität haben - das ist echter Luxus, wie wir finden. Die Zimmer sind nicht überfüllt, sondern ordentlich mit qualitativ und angenehm wirkenden Möbeln eingerichtet, und es gibt einen Kleider- und Ablageschrank. Die Dusche ist mit einer kompletten und hohen Duschwand aus Glas vom WC abgetrennt, was zusammen mit dem guten Wasserdruck das Duschen zur Freude macht. Die Mitarbeiter sind authentisch freundlich und interessiert, und es hat sich das eine oder andere persönliche Gespräch ergeben. Sie haben uns immer Regenschirme mitgegeben. Außerdem ist die Fußdusche super, wenn man vom Strand kommt. Das Hotel wird 24 Stunden im Schichtwechsel betreut, was an einem so lebendigen Ort wie Hikkaduwa sicherlich wichtig und gut für die Sicherheit ist, und somit ist jemand die ganze Zeit als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung. Ein weiteres wichtiges Detail ist, dass das Hotel etwas abseits von der Hauptstraße an einem ruhigen Ort gelegen und die Terrasse/der Balkon Richtung Hinterland ausgerichtet ist, was einem ein schöne angenehme Nachtruhe beschert. Ein netter Bonus war für uns ein kleiner und feiner Früchtestand einer jungen Frau grade um's Eck, wo wir mehrmals junge grüne Kokosnüsse genießen konnten. Noch in der Seitenstraße gelegen viel angenehmer als an der stressigen Hauptstraße.
