I was impressed by the level of expertise when they did a major remodeling for me. The project included a complete re-siding of my house, two new decks, repairs to my loafing shed and bandstand. They even helped me by removing a large cottonwood tree leaning into my bean field. They were here every day until the project was completed.

Working with Welch Contracting was a great experience from start to finish. Their team was punctual, professional, and incredibly flexible with the custom design ideas I had for my short term rentals. They were easy to communicate with, paid attention to the details, and really helped bring the vision to life. It’s hard to find contractors who are both reliable and creative, but these guys delivered on both. Highly recommend them if you want quality work and a smooth experience.
Had two poor-functioning gates replaced. Both new gates now open easily. The gates are made of cedar 2x4s and cedar pickets. Unfortunately, one gate has wayward screws that split a 2x4 in two locations and a screw protrudes through the presentation side of the 2x4 in one location. They did not bother to replace the board they damaged. More concerning is that multiple attempts were made to place two screws through a 4x4 fence post into the side of my house (unbeknownst to me). This resulted in a screw pulling the siding away from my home leaving approximately 1/2-3/4” gap from the siding to the house, exposing the water vapor barrier wrap. So they left my house with this gap in the siding open to the elements and insects. Also two errant drill holes through the post and into the siding also were left open to the elements. I’m not a construction contractor and even I know you shouldn’t leave open holes and gaps in the siding as water and insects can enter and damage the structure. So I was left with damage to the siding of my home and cosmetic damage to the gates I paid them to make. I had to hire my painting contractor to repair the siding damage this company caused. The cosmetic damage to the gates they made will be corrected as soon as I find someone. Shockingly poor quality for alleged construction contractors with 10+ years experience. Wouldn’t trust them to build me a dog house. I don’t want this company anywhere near my home ever again.

Sometimes small details get overlooked, we would have appreciated the opportunity for this to be addressed with us so we could have corrected any issues.
Pete and his team did excellent work, communicating clearly and promptly through the whole process. Pete took the time to know exactly what we were looking for and was willing to spend a little extra time on the phone advising us for our unique situation. I will definitely contract with them for other projects moving forward

The Welch team arrived on time, worked nonstop to repair my collapsing fence so dogs would not escape. They did quality work at a very reasonable price.

We hired Welch Contracting to screen in our deck and replace our older railings and they did a fabulous job! We hired Pete first to build a 6ft cedar privacy fence around our yard, and we were so impressed by Pete and his team, we hired them to replace our old deck. We couldn't be more pleased - Pete was communicative, affordable, and trustworthy. They built us a beautiful deck that we can now safely enjoy. Pete did an absolutely amazing job for us, we had him build a new railing, deck, and fence. Every part of the job he kept communication open, also by asking for his input on several aspects of the deck and railing project his creativity really came through.
