We found Weddings by AR on Google last year after spending months looking for the perfect photographer who could match our laid back vibe. Alex was extremely approachable, and easy to communicate with. A few weeks before our wedding we completed a questionnaire, which then followed up with a meeting online, we were able to inform him of all the details we wanted him to capture, which he did BEAUTIFULLY! Many guests commented on how sweet Alex was, and also how incredible he was with my 5 year old nephew who was also following him around with his tablet pretending to be a photographer too (One of my morning highlights!). We ended up booking Alex for longer than we initially planned to get some golden hour pictures. Unfortunately the British weather was on top form so we couldn’t do this, but Alex somehow used a flash and created some stunning golden hour pictures in the midst of a groggy, rainy evening. Our pictures were ready just over a week after our wedding, and they are all stunning. We are over the moon with how our pictures turned out and we are just so happy we stumbled across Weddings by AR! ❤️

Alex was absolutely brilliant from the start of planning right until we received our finished films. He listened to what we wanted and delivered 100% . We cannot thank Alex and the team enough for how amazing they were at capturing our wedding day. From start to finish Alex was enthusiastic, informative, and knew exactly how we wanted our day to be captured. The communication in the run up was faultless. And on the day everything run so smoothly I don’t think it could have gone any better. The live stream worked perfectly, the photos Alex and the team captured were exactly what we wanted and the videos they took were fantastic. After the wedding Alex sent us the photos and videos which were even better than imagined. And the photo book album is incredible. We are beyond delighted with our wedding photos and videos. Alex, Saurav and Ellie were an elite team, keeping us relaxed on the day, capturing all the shots we wanted, and they also came up with some more ideas on the spot. Our outdoor pics are fantastic. The team also did a wonderful job editing the video footage. We particularly loved watching back our ceilidh and seeing our guests having so much fun. We were a little surprised to find a large number of our guests were not present in any pictures, as we would have loved to see more general shots of the reception; but overall, communication with the AR team has been phenomenal. From the original query we made, to the post-wedding review process and receiving the edits and albums, we’ve been delighted with how involved we’ve felt in their work. And now, having our wedding feature in a magazine!? A cherry on top of the entire thing! It’s all thanks to the Weddings by AR team’s work, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Alex has been absolutely incredible to work with from us booking him a year before our wedding up until the months following. You can tell straight away how much he loves what he does and he really cares about making your wedding film the best it can be. He’s been in touch with us the whole time, we had a great zoom meeting before to discuss what we wanted and this really reassured us everything would go smoothly on the day. On the day Alex was super friendly and keen to get all the best shots, and after a while out guests all said you forgot he was even there! Following the wedding we had our speeches and ceremony really quickly whilst still on our mini-moon which was really emotional watching them back. We then got our trailer shortly after and then our film which we are over the moon with - I can’t stop showing it to people! I recommended getting a videographer to everyone I know who is getting married, it really captures things which photos can’t and moments you will forget, especially having the speeches and ceremony which you will never remember everything. Alex has been so amazing throughout, quick to reply to any concerns and make any edits to the film/trailer. I would recommend him to anyone, thank you Alex!

Alex, Nathan & Callum were absolutely amazing, we could not recommend weddings by AR enough! We had Nathan and Callum film our day and they fit in with the day so perfectly, our guests expressed as well how impressed they were! And Alex edited our wedding films so beautifully, without even being there on the day he captured the essence of our day and the story of myself and my husband so perfectly, the videos really were everything we could have wanted and more! What can I say about weddings by AR ? one word – Outstanding. From first contact Alex catered to every need we had for our wedding. In every meeting we had with him he listened to what we wanted, always very professional and friendly, nothing was ever to much trouble from them. On the day of our wedding we were both very nervous about being in front of the camera but ever the professional Alex calmed us both down and made us feel more relaxed. I gave Alex the task of including our dogs In our wedding video and he did not disappoint, he got so much footage with them in I it melted my heart. The final video for our wedding is just beautify done and edited and it still makes us tear up every time we watch it. we would have no hesitations about recommending weddings by AR to anyone as they just delivered so much more than we could of ever hoped for. Weddings by AR honestly captured all of the day perfectly and my wife and I are over the moon with the results! Constant communication throughout, even arranged a later consultation for the big day to work around our chaotic work schedules. We are both thoroughly over moon with how the day has been captured. I highly recommend Alex and the team to anyone for their big day! Can not describe how perfect the photos are throughout.

I cannot recommend weddings by AR enough. Alex and his team captured every minute of my daughter's wedding and the events leading up to it. Being an Indian wedding, it involved lots of moments to be captured which the team dealt with very well and managed to do so without being noticed. Their strength in particular is capturing people naturally and working with you to share your vision. I could not be happier with the final outcome and how professional they were throughout

We have been so fortunate to have had a recommendation to have Alex do the videography for our wedding. We werent quite sure what to expect as it was a last minute decision to add videography to our wedding. Honestly our wedding film has been one of the biggest highlights from our day. All of the videography and the way it was pulled together is quite simply incredible. Alex, you have created something so beautiful and emotional and we couldnt thank you and your team enough for creating such a masterpiece that we will all treasure forever.

Outstanding!!! From our very first meeting with Weddings by AR to receiving our final video this week the service in which we have received has been friendly, professional and faultless. Alex was so kind and attentive in the lead up to our big day, wanting to know special moments that we wanted captured and on the day he just slotted in so well with our guests that many people did not know we had a vidoegrapher at all! Alex fitted in as one of our guests! Alex was so kind and considerate during every step of this process and has been so committed to ensuring that we have the video that we had always dreamed of. It is wonderful that as well as our trailer and full video Alex also shot in full our ceremony and speeches which we will treasure forever. Yes, the full video is amazing to share with family and friends but to sit and watch heartfelt speeches and your ceremony again is so very special. I cannot watch our videos without crying! I cannot thank Alex enough for the time, care and attention he has given to capturing our day and also producing videos which we will treasure forever. We are so glad and grateful we found Weddings by AR to capture our big day. We stumbled upon their work on Instagram and I got in touch with the wonderful Alex! From the moment we had our first convo - to the build-up of the big day - to the delivery of our photos Alex always kept in touch with us throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much work and you can feel reassured you’re in good professional hands. From all our wedding suppliers and everyone we dealt with, they were defo the greatest, especially during covid times with all the changes etc. Alex also arranged for an incredible live stream service which was so useful to our guests who couldn’t make it and he arranged everything at such short notice I couldn’t be more thankful. On the day Alex and Saurav were like part of our wedding almost just naturally capturing the day and we felt so comfortable with them! They both are so friendly and calm, it was a really hot day and I kept asking them to take a break and they refused to eat until we had finished the shots! We literally had lunch together in the end, we had so much fun with them both throughout our day! They both work so well together and have a great chemistry, everything just went to plan. Our photos and Video came out amazing and we are so happy with what they created for us. To our surprise the photos were delivered to us in less than a month after the wedding which is just insanely prompt and I was speechless how efficiently they arrived! Thank you so much Alex and Saurav for being so accommodating and capturing our wedding! You both are incredible and we are over the moon that we picked you for such an important job they delivered everything they promised and more!!!

Alex and Ellie where great. They arrived on time to the wedding venue and set up staight away. During the ceremony if someone blocked one camera they would transition to another. Preparing for the wedding there was good communication between myself and Alex. Always responded quicky and answered all our questions. Would highly recomend using if thinking about streaming an event.

We used Weddings by AR for our ceremony in the Scottish Borders. With all the challenges faced by many who have been trying to get married over the past 18 months and the uncertainty around the day being able to go ahead, working with great businesses was a must. Alex was no exception and made sure everything was perfect before and on the day. Even the small details mattered and this definitely shows in all the videos. Being able to watch the videos back and experience the day is really special to us. The quality of work Alex has produced is top class. We cannot recommend Weddings by AR enough.

Alex is an absolute star! We decided a little bit last minute that we wanted a videographer for our wedding & he was so accommodating with us! We had the most incredible day and have had so many compliments on our gorgeous wedding videos! Alex and his team were phenomenal. We were specifically looking for a videographer with streaming capabilities during COVID unwinding and we couldn't fault Alex. Our day went perfectly, largely because of Alex and his team. We spoke with a dozen videographers and went with Alex because he was energetic, had excellent vision, super super organised and one of the best service providers I've ever had the pleasure of working with, not just for the wedding, but ever. We had a seperate photographer (Elle magazine recommended), but it was a photo Alex took the photo that we'd send to friends and family first (with a drone for us, a surprise added extra!). If I could Hire Alex to be part of my team at work, I would, he is one of the best professionals I've met. His video and photography skills were epic, from a perfectly streamed ceremony (roving microphones, all set up and set down - was effortless for me, I didn't even notice on the big day!), to providing perfectly edited trailer video and fully edited videos (and even beautifully personalised wooden USB) all before we were barely home from a honeymoon. He went above and beyond to work with us. He met us the night before to work through logistics, and spent the entire wedding day taking video for us, driving to locations until sunset, even taking beautiful footage in the evening after we'd left! The result was the most perfect memories on film for us. Beautifully edited (no one is able to watch without tissues!). His services are worth multiples of what he charged us.
