DO NOT rent from this company. suffered nausea for months due to weed neighbors and minor gas leak that I was told by maitenance "wasn't a gas leak" but maybe just "mildew". multiple incidences of leaking roof, yelling neighbors, massive buy-out fee. also, maintenance took forever (if at all) to fix more simple projects like garbage disposal or lose hinge on cupboard. All of this was not worth the "cheaper" rent.

Bob is the best landlord I have had by far! His communication skills and management are amazing!! He deserves a raise!! Seriously the best!!!

The apartment is great, nice area to live pet friendly, we have a great property manager and when you have a problem maintenance is quick to fix it. I know I plan on calling the Georgetown apartments home for quite awhile

Nothing but frustrating. Do not rent from them. My husband and I were tenants at the Knox street apt#10 and became fed-up enough to where we paid $4,500.00 to break our lease (they'll have that in fine print of the lease contract so read carefully). 1. Dealt with a leaking roof that we were ensured Twice was "fixed". Ceiling leaked water onto my wedding dress. Tried to get compensation for dry cleaning ($100). to which management refused and Manager Mark suggested reaching out to corporate as he refused to help manage anything. I reached out to corporate a little over a week ago, and learned on Friday that $100.00 for dry cleaning won't be covered. My dress, purchase price is $1,300. with alterations, another $800. Total, my wedding dress is worth $2,000. Paying $100 is a lot cheaper than replacing the whole dress. But it's okay, because kabredlos expects for "renters insurance to cover it". 3. I smelled gas leaking in apartment UNIT #10. Was gaslighted by maintenance (Tim) at the time that it was just "mildew" and that I should "shampoo the carpet". Other maintenance guy came by after hours of me smelling/breathing it in, and his tool that detects gas leaks DID detect a gas leak. I was nauseous and was made to breath in that gaseous fume for longer than needed. 2. We dealt with weed odor that made me nauseous for months before management did anything about it. Yelling neighbors to where I felt unsafe when walking out to my car. 3. My husband and I waited for close to two months to get our deposit check back after breaking lease, to which I reached out to Mark the manager at the Knox street location about it. He referred me to call corporate & he also didn't know corporate number when asked. Corporate did not have our forwarding address on file for close to two months and never thought to give my husband or I a phone call to ask for the forwarding address (Mark had written down the forwarding address that we had given him upon breaking the lease meeting two months prior). So, complete incompetence. 4. Emails and maintenance requests, expect no reply. 5. To top it all off, I requested a copy of all paperwork during breaking of the lease, to which Manager Mark made a remark along the lines of "do you really think a multimillion dollar company will screw you over?". Also, with the dress, I do have video proof of the ceiling leaking water onto not just my dress, but also my husband's and my things in the closet that was supposed to keep our items safe.

I have never had a worse renting experience, there was no communication whenever we experienced problems with blinds appliances, outside cameras not working, and non working exterior doors. After attempting to move out we were charged for these issues that were clear and noted when moving in. Bob Stark is extremally two faced he will say that he has your best interest in mind and that they will charge what is fair but in reality he is there to nickel and dime every Kabredlos tenant. Please do not rent here you would be better off in a halfway home or under an overpass. Could not leave review on website do not trust website testimonials.

It’s a clear sign of negligence when the only reviews responded to are the good ones. I’ve lived here for almost two years. The first year was great and flawless. So much so we decided to renew our lease and upgrade to one of their townhomes in Southwood Village. We were rushed out of our apartment due to them already leasing them out to a company doing telecommunications and needed housing for their guys that were staying in a hotel. Which I’m quite sure is illegal. So I was rushed out of my apartment 4 days prior to my date to be out. And on top of that my wife was harassed by one of the maintenance men while moving our stuff out. Telling her we really needed to be out already because they had lots of work to do. But we still had days to be done. We move in to our town house and roaches were smashed in the smalls then painted over. Some weren’t even painted over. No towel racks in bathrooms. And the front door frame was cracked from what looks being kicked in. It took six months for the towel rack. Door is still not repaired. These people and this owner get by on squeezing out the poor and little guys. They maximize their profits, but seem to care little about their tenants, and their health and safety. They’ve been redoing the landscape and outside of buildings here. But can’t seem to get any work inside done. I’ve been told it’s because they don’t have enough workers or because the workers they do have aren’t good enough. They give notice to enter in 24 hours to spray for bugs and then don’t show up or show up the next day or two later. They’ve entered my garage on multiple occasions when only informing me once, moved all my belongings and kinda trashed it to run their new electrical wires. Then left my garage unlocked and disconnected from its track for unknown amount of time. There’s always an excuse to every problem I’ve ever had and no accountability. Save yourself the headache and spend a few hundred more dollars to live any where but a Kabredlos property. I heard the horror stories before we moved in and gave it a shot. My family and I wish we hadn’t.

Bob Stark has been my property manager since I moved in last June. He is always there when I contact him whether via phone or by text. He is an exceptional person who cares about all of us. I can't say enough good things about him I recommend kabredlos property to many people. Thanks Bob for being amazing 🙂
