Great price, nice place and great location for me
Great hotel for the price and nicely updated and quiet. I will definitely stay here again. The room was comfortable and large with lots of storage space. It was nice to park right outside your room. We didn’t use the pool or any amenities but next time I will definitely try the burger food cart!
Great if you like being woken up in the middle of the night to a loud crackling noise from the heater.
Good motel except for the loud crackling heater.I complained the next day the front desk staff said, “Does it sound like microwave popcorn?” I said yes. He said yeah our heaters do that. Couldn’t move rooms bc he didn’t know which rooms. Awful
Great hotel and great location !
We love this hotel! It’s the third stay we have had. We love that it’s dog friendly! The pool is so great and rooms are spacious and the beds are big! My kiddo left her iPad and hotel was quick to call us and they also shipped it to us! It was awesome!! We will be back !
Highly recommend
Stayed here this week for a conference. Very clean and recently updated. Rooms are spacious with comfortable king beds. The lobby and bar are beautiful and welcoming. There is also a beautiful patio with fire pits. Very happy I chose to stay here and would stay again.
Very nice lower priced hotel with friendly service
This is a fairly basic hotel with each unit opening to the parking lot. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The style is that new, modern open shelf look which actually works quite well. The staff is friendly and the lobby opens at 5am with a fireplace, lounge chairs and coffee witch is perfect for me who always wakes up before her husband. No free breakfast by the is Black Bear restaurant on the same property. Most rooms are set well back for the street. No elevator for 2nd story.
Pleasant stay.
Good location, close to town yet quiet neighborhood. Easy check- in, clean. Appreciated the small refrigerator/freezer and microwave in room as well as coffee and tea. I like the hard surface floors in these rooms ( motel rugs gross me out) Pillows were not as soft as I like. There are lots of other amenities like pool, hot tub, bar, shop that I didn’t have time to visit. Dog friendly!
Well Located for Exploring Bend
Conveniently located to major transit corridors, walkable to the historic center of Bend, and a short bicycle ride to the extensive river front trail system that adds so much to Bend’s appeal. Comfortable accommodations, attractive lobby area.
A gem in the heart of Bend
We had stayed on this property years ago when it was a different hotel and WOW, what an incredible makeover and upgrade! I was genuinely surprised by the extensive renovation the Waypoint had undertaken and the results were impressive. I love the crisp, boutique feel of this property. All the staff we had interactions with were very pleasant, helpful, and responsive to requests. Our room was very clean, quiet, and inviting. We had to travel north, east, and south for various reasons, and because we were conveniently located in the heart of Bend, we found ourselves within a very short drive to all of our destinations. I hope the Waypoint's future plans will include offering a free breakfast, or at least a light continental style breakfast. We definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying there on our next trip to Bend!
Clean, big enough a bit to loud
We had a room right behind the outside pool and couldn’t park our car close to the room entrance. When the pool was busy it was actually pretty loud. The ice machine was also just around the corner and the walls where just to thin. You could hear people getting ice out of the machine. The room was clean and reasonably sized. There was no tea offered in the room. Breakfast was just some snacks to go.
Long time Bend visitor, first time Waypoint stay.
Waypoint has it dialed. Great contemporary remodel of a Red Lion...Nice rooms, great beds, friendly and responsive staff, great selection of local ciders and beers on tap for a very reasonable price that can be enjoyed in a cool contemporary lobby or well-heated outdoor lobby with multiple fire pits. I saw a pad being poured by the entry for inclusion of a food truck which will up their game even more. Good central location--perfect basecamp for golfing, biking, skiing, hiking...or just enjoying Bend and Central Oregon. Don't hesitate to check this one out.
Waypoint Motel
This is a motel on the side of a busy road with a small pool in the parking lot nothing more the photos are pretty misleading. Room was clean, remote didn’t work from the bed and there was a lot of traffic noise. The pool was lovely but it’s in the parking lot. Water was off whilst we were there but they were still charging $5 for a litre of bottled water.

Clean comfortable friendly staff at a good price. Loved it!! After reviewing other comparable hotels,Waypoint is the best value in town. Location next to Big Bear restaurant,is convenient. Close to most Bend attractions..
Bend motel
The rooms are very well set up. There is an ample storage system that is easily accessible. It is incredibly quiet in our room and the room was very clean. Huge bed and it is nice to have cable and HBO provided. Great location and value.
Delivers more than expected
This is a great hotel that delivers what it is supposed to and then some. Clean, well laid out room that is comfortable. The pool is nice even though it’s located out front. Plenty of clean towels and seating choices. Also a nice touch with draft beers and wine.
Great getaway spot
Fun hotel close to everything! Great staff who are also your bartenders! Love the updated rooms - funky vibe! Best part is after a long day of whatever you’re doing they have a bar with a fantastic beer selection, wine and mimosas to be enjoyed in the large outdoor seating area that has multiple fire pits! Can’t beat the friendly staff and location!
Pleasantly surprised
Was definitely surprised how nice the remodel came out... Room was a little small, but for as much time as we actually spent in the room, it was just fine with us!! Would definitely recommend and the location was great!!
Great place to stay in Bend
Clean and comfy rooms. Very up to date furniture and bedding. Comfortable bed. Great to have refrigerator with a separate freezer. Recommend to anyone coming to Bend. Close to food, starbucks, dutch brothers and many more places
Solid hotel and salt water pool
Delightful hotel with a fantastic pool. This was a stop over night for us and it was delightful. Giving the 3yo an entire king bed was perfect! The warm, salt water pool was divine and a big hit with the kiddo. After dinner beer/cider in the lobby was also tasty.
Awesome stay
The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Rooms were clean, and the pool was amazing l. I will definitely stay there again. The staff was able to get our party all together and check in was a breeze.
Perfect stay for our Sisters Weekend
Waypoint was perfect for a Sisters Weekend. The room was very spacious with lots of elbow room for 3 sisters spending the weekend together including Two King beds and Two vanities. The outdoor fire pit and beer and wine on tap provided a perfect spot to unwind and talk thru the night. The location was central to our activities which was also much appreciated. The staff were always pleasant and professional. Definitely recommend.
