We absolutely loved this house, the village and location was a great location for the things we wanted to visit, the house was furnished wonderfully and spotless.We would definitely recommend people to stay here.There were loads of places to eat and all the places we visited the food was fantastic.

Oriel House is beautifully presented, well equipped and in a fabulous location. There was lots of information on the local places to eat (the pubs serve great food) and Warkworth is a great location for exploring the beautiful and historic coastline.

Beautiful cottage and lovely decor. Fully equipped. Peaceful surroundings, centrally located. Laurence recommended local restaurants and Grace emailed when cottage was ready for access before 4pm. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable & well equipped. Immaculate & beautifully presented. Quiet location, parking easy, Warkworth is a perfect base for exploring the area & lots of ex excellent places to eat. Very responsive Host, a heating issue was resolved very quickly. No hesitation in recommending, will look forward to visiting again. A 5* property.

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Beatrice Cottage. The cottage is in a delightful location, right by the river, and a walk to the castle, the beach, and good choice of restaurants. Also, Warkworth was a great location for seeing all the sights. The cottage itself was immaculate and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful week in Warkworth. Lovely cosy cottage, very comfortable beds, superb showers. Very well equipped kitchen but nice meals available at several pubs just round the corner. Flowers, Prosecco and welcome pack much appreciated. Nearby River Coquet is so peaceful to sit by and watch the swans and ducks go by. We found this to be a perfect base, on a bus and cycle route, or by car for visiting castles and beaches along the spectacular coastline but also with lovely local walks to Amble or walkworth beach ( a mile each way) . Very happy with communication with the owner Grace, who seemed very friendly. Would happily stay again.

We had a great four nights staying at Oriel House. Warkworth is a perfect location for exploring Northumberland. The house is beautiful, very spacious and Grace has thought of everything you could ever need. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us when we arrived, that was much appreciated after a long drive from the Midlands. Thank you!

We've just returned home, having had a lovely break away here. The house is lovely, spacious and very clean with all the home comforts. Thank you for the welcome pack too, perfect hosts. We were lucky enough to have Warkworth show on the Saturday so we got tickets, great local show held in the grounds of the castle over the road. Had an evening meal in the pub next to the house, really nice, I can recommend the steak pie 🥧. Lovely walk to the beach too, through he village. Great location, Amble is just down the road, nice little harbour. We spent a day in Edinburgh too, got the train from Alnmouth which is only 10 mins drive away. All in all, a great place to stay. Topiary Cottage was everything and more. Quiet location. Stunning interior, exactly like the images on the website. Well equipped, they have thought of everything that you could possibly need. Parking wasn't an issue, able to park opposite the river. A welcome basket upon arrival such a lovely gesture. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at your beautiful house celebrating our joint 40th wedding anniversary with my sister and brother in law. Everything was spotless and the setting is wonderful. It was so nice to receive your welcome basket and the appreciated addition of a bottle of bubbly - thank you very much! A great place to stay and explore the area but the village of Warkworth is interesting in itself. Highly recommended.

Oriel House is stunning, lovingly restored and we were blown away by the beautiful interior design. The master bedroom was a real highlight, more like a private suite complete with a huge luxury en suite bathroom which you step down to. Parking easy, pretty village with great pubs. We enjoyed dinner at The Masons Arms and Bertram’s. The location is perfect for exploring, we walked to Amble Marina for lovely seafood at the Fish Shack, took a boat trip from Seahouses to the Farne Islands and continued on to Bamburgh. Had a great day at Alnwick Castle with its fantastic history and film tours. Grace is the perfect host welcoming us with gorgeous goodies, sharing loads of thoughtful tips for trips and places to eat. We would absolutely recommend Oriel House.
