They won’t be there when you need them most. We established a relationship with this vet for annual visits as well as monthly treatments for our elderly lab and had been pleased with visits. Unfortunately when we needed them most on a Friday morning during normal business hours they were “too busy and understaffed” to help us. Well we can help reduce your workload because you have lost this patient! Absolutely shocking and disappointing. Fortunately we found another local vet who was more than happy to work us into their schedule and see our sweet girl. So be very aware they are happy to take your money for the easy stuff but abandon you when it matters most.

We love going to VMS in Lugoff, however our visit this morning was disappointing due to the fact that we were charged 3% for using a debit card, this amount was $18.00, the banks DO NOT charge the vendor a fee when you use a debit card, therefore it seems unfair to charge the customer a fee. I know more and more vendors are adding a fee but in our opinion it is not justified.

This is a new card processing service that we have in our office. Our processing machines do not recognize "debit" cards, they only recognize if its a visa, mc, discover or amex card.
Even our previous card processing machines did not recognize a debit card.
No service charge will be charged if paying in cash or check

We have been taking our German wired hair pointer here since his 8 week check up. We absolutely love the staff. They've been amazing through surgery and biopsying a lump on our baby's head! We wouldn't want to bring him anywhere else. Update: Dr. Baier is our vet now and she's phenomenal. Not only is she great at her job, but she loves on our baby and makes him as comfortable as possible 🖤

Love this place! Dr. Spilker is so kind and really cares about your pet. He is skilled in many types of surgery and pet care. The rest of the staff are so sweet and kind and really care. Prices are very reasonable for today's tough times. Boarding is great and very reasonable.

We have had four pets over the span of four years while stationed in SC. I tried a couple of different vets before we fell in love with Dr. Brian and his staff. They are so kind and understanding and not crazy over priced like a lot of vets. You can get in a decent amount of time. I even experienced losing a pet with them and they were so kind and let me cry my eyes out and they took their time to explain what the options would be. The whole staff even sent me a card that I still have three years later with their condolences. I will have a hard time finding a vet that matches them.

Staff & Dr Spilker we're awesome with Mela! They even checked on her over the weekend. Highly suggest if you ever have a case or suspect a case of parvo they're your go too. Saved our girl with the new shot treatment available.

Actually love this Vet! Switched my big doggie to them not to long ago and added my new puppy ive been nothing but impressed and happy with this vet! They take their time with examination and EXPLANATION!! I am still pretty new at being a dog mom so explanations of what’s wrong with my dog, explanation of what medicines he’s taking and explanation of what I need to be looking out for with them is more than appreciated and sought after in a vet! From the ladies at the front who answer the phones to the actual vet, Dr.Spilker, we received exemplary service from all staff. They will have my business and my recommendation to anyone looking for a vet. If I could give them a 10/10 stars I would!
