Prepare for your Summers here at Campion to look like this . They have the nerve to raise rent but can’t solve the major problems like this everyday . Prepare for people to be blasting music all night , play dice , have drugs and weapons , and break in to your vehicle and damage your property. I wonder how this complex is working on safety measures when delinquents (who don’t even stay here) can easily come here and tear everything up?

I’ve recently moved into Campion here in Lafayette and so far the staff members have been more than helpful with making sure all needs are met and the paperwork process was easy to get through. Given the maintained gate system and keypads and other amenities, I am more than happy to be here and if anyone finds this message, hopefully we’ll see you here soon as well!

If I can say one thing do NOT live here. Maintenance requests will never get done, cops are here at least once a week, the complex is not well kept. (Pictures attached) car break ins happen WEEKLY and one time 2 guys in hoodies barged into our apartment around 7pm one night, saw us in the kitchen and ran off. Also dont live here if your looking for a peacful quiet environment. People rev their engines all night every night. And the gate is broken more than it actually works. 0 stars if it was available

My 2 roommates and I toured Campion with Faith H. She was able to answer every question we had, and showed us all the great things Camion has to offer! We loved Campion so much we decided to start signing on the spot 😊

Y'all have black mold, and being worried about my dog is sad. One worker in the office, who is always rude, wanted to charge me for my dogs not being on a leash, when most of the office workers have met my dogs and seen that I don't even put collars on my dogs multiple times. The maintenance guys even made friends with my dogs. I even got my inspection done with no problems having two dogs, but as soon as this one worker sees them, she instantly becomes rude and starts repeatedly screaming across the parking lot as I was leaving the dog park, being extremely unprofessional. I didn't know she was an employee at first until she screamed, asking for my apartment number, and when I replied, asking why, because you don't just give your information to anyone, she then started attacking me with attitude, saying, "BECAUSE I'M AN OFFICE MANAGER HERE". Since I felt like I was getting attacked, I then proceeded to keep walking, and she screamed again, "YOUR NAME IS SHAYNA RIGHT." I have never met this lady in my life for her to know who I am or remember my name at that. When I first moved here, they did an inspection, and one of the workers told me that my roommate had friends in the office who were gossiping about me. After realizing she knew my name, I instantly felt personally attacked. One of my dogs is trained to walk without a leash. My dogs would not even harm a fly. Not to mention all the wasps that fly into the apartments through the vents or the car break-ins that happen every other week. Ive watched someone pull out a campion from my apartment and let off gun shots towards Pinhook and refuse to even put cameras up anywhere but by the office. So if your car gets hit or broken into, it doesn't matter.(my car got broken into, and not just once.) A lady living next door got her whole car stolen. The furniture breaks every other day, and the list could go on. If you were all worried about the correct things, this place wouldn't be so ghetto. zero stars The wifi cuts off a lot too, sometimes for days at a time. I also have holes in the ceiling of the apartment with wires hanging out of them, I asked multiple times what they were even supposed to be, and no one fixed them. If you want to live here for the amenities, don't worry; you can use them without living here. Me and my friends used them when we lived on the UL campus all the time. I hate this place with a passion, Ive lived here for a little over a year, my lease is completely paid out, and I am not so patiently waiting to run from this place. I would recommend living anywhere else. Don't listen to the good reviews on here either, because they were basically bought. They have competitions between the workers to get their friends and family to leave good reviews. I was sitting by the pool when a worker was going around trying to get everyone to leave a good review. Since I can’t reply, I’ve been waiting in the office for nearly an hour waiting to speak to the property manager. When she has been chatting with the employees going in and out her office with the door open. Another example of how they couldn’t care less about anyone living here as long as they collect your rent and bogus fees.

Campion jeez i don’t know where to start 😂🤦. The maintenance is horrible took about weeks just for them to fix a bed , the flowing river pool is never clean, the weight room bench press set is horrible, felt like it was finna fall on me as i was lifting the weights also, there nothing to clean the equipment with for when other people use them, so basically u working out in other people sweat. I literally got my clothes stolen out my friends car so, whats the point in having security there if they not going to do their job. Before leasing here please read these reviews it will save u the time and trouble unless your fine with ghetto apartments. Also to mention why are campion workers going around telling their friends to write a good review know this place ain’t worth it at all.

Do yourself a favor and DONT sign a lease here. If the reviews that were left the past 5 months were written before I signed a lease, I would have not chose to live here. Every bad review is accurate. This place deserves at most a 2 star overall rating. I moved in last semester and the problems started as soon as I walked in and continue today. To keep it short and simple… if you are a clean person- don’t live here, if you like to live in a safe environment- don’t live here, if you like to sleep at night- don’t live here, if you want an apartment that doesn’t have dead roaches in the ac vents- don’t live here, if you don’t want all your belongings to smell like mold and smoke- don’t live here! I’m counting down the days till my lease is over. This is not “luxury student living”.

Living here now, definitely not renewing. Nothing works, nobody does anything to fix stuff. It’s a complete mess. The wi-fi will work one day and then be off for a week. The front office just refers you to the company who doesn’t help at all either. A/C is on and off. Nobody will help me with my roommate situation. Do not live here.

Yeneg was very knowledgeable regarding lease renewals. She answered all of my questions and was very professional.

My friend and I went to Campion apartments for the tour and the our tour director Naomi did an amazing good and was well spoken and our experience with her was amazing.

If i could give a minus review i would. My son has been living there for a year and a half. Management is useless. Parking is a disaster. If you have a kid that works late do not expect to have a parking place when you get home even though you have a parking pass and pay rent. The towing company, who i image gives a "kick back" to the complex is johnny on the spot and gladly tows those who cannot find a place to park and must park where they can. Another point, you are wasting your time filling out a compatibility survey for your child. They could care less about that when it comes to putting people together in rooms. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY.

The lease seems like it's designed for multiple apartment complexes and a bunch of lawyers created it to cover them, which is understandable. When I called in the beginning, I asked the price to move apartments if the roommates didn't work, the lady I spoke with obviously didn't know the amount and tried to satisfy me by saying "we'll do everything we can to make sure it works"--no I want the numbers. The move-in day did get pushed back multiple times but that was mostly the construction companies fault + weather + too early launch date. Construction company wakes me up every morning, rapidly built houses had multiple things wrong and took weeks to get fixed (garbage disposal and tub facet clogged with debris). If this is review was for the construction company, they'd get -2 I'm sure it'll be worth it once everything is finished, it is getting better. EDIT it didn’t get better. The walls are paper thin and construction was not done properly. It was quickly thrown together. I wouldn’t live here unless your friends are your roommates. I had a mix of good and bad random roommates.

I and my three other roommates moved in to Campion apartments in the Fall 2023 school semester. The move in was an event in of itself. We moved in and the first thing we see is a gaping hole in one of our cabinets and ZERO furniture in our "full-furnished" apartment. We still have yet to receive half of the furniture that is supposed to be included in our rent and the cabinet has yet to be replaced. Aside from furniture our apartment was NOT move in ready there was trash EVERYWHERE and there are stains that we have scrubbed to death but they will not come out.The stairs are torn up and my roommates and I have fallen multiple times while tripping over the fragments sticking out of them. Our apartment even had the word "PROBLEM" spray painted on the fence and tree in our back patio area. So obviously there were problems that were overlooked and did not get fixed. Half of our bed frames have to be situated in a way so that they do not collapse while we are sleeping. Our "dining room table" is on its last leg and is definitely not suited to fit four people comfortably. If an apartment complex claims to be "fully-furnished" and "all inclusive rent" I feel as if the apartment should be able to accommodate 4 people. Which ours definitely does not. Also one of my roommates had a complication with the rent website and the staff was not hesitant to put an eviction notice on his door before even getting in contact with him to resolve the issue. I feel as if we don't have our entire "fully-furnished" apartment we shouldn't have to pay our entire rent. The wifi also goes down EVERY month for days to weeks, if this is STUDENT living you would think they would have an internet provider that could accomodate the massive amount of students living here. I would not recommend signing a lease here until the management has improved and the rent is fair considering how poorly these apartments are set up. We have emailed called and complained but CANNOT get a clear answer from the staff and leasing manager. It is unprofessional to claim to be a "luxury" apartment and charge STUDENTS this high amount of rent and then place them in unfit living conditions that are far from luxurious :)

I read these reviews before signing here and thought man it can’t be that bad… no it absolutely is that bad and is 10x worse than the reviews even mentioned. the complex is constantly loud everywhere from outside, to the neighbors upstairs, to the neighbors on the side of you; the walls are just paper thin and you hear everything, i mean EVERYTHING. not to mention the apartments are cheaply made and almost everything seems to be breaking or on its way to breaking. the walls in my apartment are painted two different colors, not even joking, and the bed is one kick away from falling over.the first day i moved in, i layed onto my bed and literally ended up on the floor the whole leg came off 🫤. the ac in my apartment has also stopped working more times than i can count. cars are constantly getting towed and other cars and constantly parked here without even having a tag present. the only upside to this apartment is probably the shuttle, but other than that i cant find a postive. Almost half of the residents are not even students and residents are constantly throwing parties in the pool every weekend. I have seen the cops at this apartment complex more than ive seen the cops in my life span. Im a very considering person and I take everything into consideration, but this is absolutely insane I have not even stayed here long and can not wait until the day my lease is over. I recommend finding a different apartment this one is not worth a dime. I have attached a picture of the bed that i literally had to postion towards the wall just so i dont fall out of it everynight. If this is yalls idea of “luxury” then i am terrified to see what a normal apartment would look like in these guys eyes

Unprofessional and everything in your apartment will break at some point including your floors. No matter what though you won’t get your deposit.

I would rate it less if possible, they have no regards to the wellbeing and safety of the tenants. They disregard all complaints made and they are very rude in general. I have had multiple packages stolen and misplaced from the mail room multiple times. DO NOT STAY WITH THEM AT ALL COST, not worth the hassle .

I am a co signer for a sibling living in these apartments! This apartment complex gives me constant issues. Since the very first day they have been highly unprofessional. Management randomly changed the move in date a week for time to move in. When I got there my apartment key didn’t work and the apartment was a mess so to the complex management not telling the current tenants/ roommates that new people were even moving in . First night the AC broke and the apartment was 87 degrees in the Louisiana heat . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAKING LVING ARRANGEMENTS ELSE WHERE ! The complex social media and website photos is a complete scammm. The apartment looks pretty nice but is a complete nightmare living here !!! OVER A MONTH WITHOUT INTERNET! Felicia Guy, Manager has HORRIBLE customer service skills!!!!!!! Horrible !!!!!
