I went with my sister-in-law as support. She had to put her doggie down. 🥺 The staff was very friendly, understanding, and supportive during a not fun difficult time. If we ever need a new vet I will definitely consider VCA.

A bit overpriced but I did go to the one in Carmel. Staff was nice, services overrated

I absolutely love this office .. we drive 30’minutes to go to them bc they are so good with my boys . Especially my oldest one . They are so patient with him and his anxiety. I recommend bringing your animals here !!

Very caring doctors and staff here. Wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable. If you care for your pet, this is the place to take them.

Took my dog to Carmel location after adopting from shelter. They told me I could pay all upfront an then when came bk for boosters did not have any money due. Jus did boosters an today got call saying I owed $92.00!! They are over priced to begin with that that made me livit!! Going to much less expensive vet from now on an DO NOT recommend them!!! Totally furious an too expensive! Found better vet..

We took our newly adopted kitten, KitKat, here for a wellness exam and to see if she had a URI. From the front desk to the staff in the room, everyone was amazing. I especially enjoyed having Kelsey help us out. You can tell she genuinely loves her job and “patients”. This made me extremely happy to see. Dr. Zaniker was amazing in explaining everything and very gentle with KitKat. Highly recommend mend this office.

Losing a pet is never easy, but those with you on that painful journey can make it a little easier to bear. I walked into VCA on an early Saturday morning for an emergency appointment for our critically ill Springer Spaniel, mind you we are not regular patrons of VCA and had been under the assumption they offered emergency care. Instead of being directed to emergency care elsewhere, we were welcomed with open arms and treated with the compassion and kindness worthy of so much more than a 5 star review. Many thanks and blessings to Dr. Admunson and the staff on site on Saturday, February 10th. You were a blessing to a family who did not expect to be grieving over their beloved quirky old man of a dog. Hank knew he was in the hands of a staff that treats others pets and families like their own. Our family mourns his loss but we are at peace after receiving such compassionate, kind care from each of you.

I took my cats here for the 9 years I lived in Indy. Each doctor and tech I have worked with were top notch, truly caring about my pets and giving them the best care. I never felt pressured for excess service and knew they offered good quality oversight to my animals’ health. One of my cats is particularly sassy and they were compassionate and understanding every visit. I also took my friend once when her cat needed an emergency procedure, and they did a really nice job helping him through a scary situation!

I’m editing my review because I really want to showcase the compassionate care the team here at VCA AMC shows. We had to say goodbye to our beloved boy Duke on January 17, 2023. From the second I called and made the hardest appointment of my life, the staff was so kind and patient with us. Dr. Johnson was originally off the day we had to say goodbye, but the staff went out of their way to call her and she came in to be there with us as we said goodbye to Duke. She followed up the next day by sending us flowers, which was so touching. Duke’s favorite CSR Julia honored him by joining us as well without any hesitation and stayed with him after we had to leave because we didn’t want him to be alone. Everyone treated Duke with the utmost dignity and respect in his final moments. They didn’t rush us at any point in the process, and they treated him with so much respect when we picked him up to bring them home. I cannot even express how much the VCA team’s compassion, respect, and love for us and Duke means to me. We are so thankful for all of staff at VCA. We recently adopted a new dog, and brought him here for his vet care and he is treated with the same love and care that Duke was. ——— Original Review: we’ve been coming here for over 3 years, since we welcomed Duke the Bullmastiff into our family. We have seen 3 doctors here, but Dr. Johnson is our go-to, and we are so grateful that we met her and have her working on Duke’s medical issues. He was born with a form of congenital kidney disease, and she followed up on a slightly elevated test result to ensure he got the best care possible. Dr. Johnson is a saint. She always calls me to discuss anything we go in for and handles all of my questions professionally and honestly. Having a chronically ill dog is something new to me, so I always have questions about what to expect next. She is one of the best, and I think Duke’s kidney disease NOT progressing in 3 years can attest to that! We’ve seen her for a few other issues he has had, and she still is amazing! The facility is extremely clean and the rest of the staff is kind and professional as well. They are all welcoming and always make a fuss over Duke! They also pay close attention to his special needs/quirks and do a great job of being courteous of them. We’ll continue to go here as long as Dr. Johnson practices here.

Fire Dawgs helped me out again! They are timely, efficient, and professional. Their rates are definitely competitive - very reasonable.

Our vet is astute and kind. All of the workers always seem to love my cat. I drive a distance to go to VCA in Carmel.

I came to this vet when mine was closed. I had No appointment but I thought they were an emergency vet. No matter they dropped everything and helped get him immediate care. After a short wait, they updated me on recommendations and options. After an X-ray showed his liver to be seriously inflamed we decided that it was best to make him comfortable and let him go. I had a separate room where I was able to have time alone, flipped a light switch when I was ready and it was peaceful. There was a separate door to leave if you didn’t want to go through the lobby. Every person was so compassionate. Thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart.

The staff here is wonderful!! Always kind and patient and take great care of not only the fur babies but also make us humans feel at ease 😊.
