They charged me before I got my rating increase. I still have not gotten anything from the Va about in increase. The coach was avoiding my calls and emails after he got the money. Had to call support to get in contact with the coach. He openly said I’m not refunding you. Don’t use this service they don’t hold up the quality the claim. Charris Harris of this is your coach currently change it or run he is not on your side.
Update management will hang up on you as well. This looks to be what they are teaching employees to due. Use the vso it’s a free service for veterans.
03/02/26:Update they are now dodging my calls. No matter how many times I call to get a call From a supervisor nothing happens they keep using the excuse that they are out of the office. This has been going on for three weeks now.

They do help you navigate through the VA system and how to file claims cuz once you get out no one ever told me how to do any of this stuff so I just didn't do it.
but they definitely helped increase my rating which I deserved.
Yes you're going to have to pay once you get your increase but in the long run it's going to pay out 10 fold. so I had no problem doing that.

I had a very frustrating and confusing experience with this company, which appears to operate under multiple names including VA Claims Insider, Served With Honor, and Telemedica.
Before signing up, I specifically called to confirm whether they service Alabama. I was clearly told that they do, so I proceeded to enroll and paid $770 for their services. The very next day, I followed up and was then told they do not service Alabama.
After raising the issue, someone else contacted me and reversed that statement, assuring me again that they do service Alabama. Based on that, I scheduled my consultation—only to be told yet again that they do not service Alabama.
At that point, I requested a refund due to the inconsistent and misleading information. I was told my refund would be “under review,” and only issued if they determined it was warranted. It ultimately took several weeks and multiple follow-ups to receive my money back.
Another major concern is their pricing structure. Buried in the fine print is language stating they can charge veterans up to six times their pay increase, which makes this one of the most expensive options available for getting help with VA claims.
The lack of clear communication, conflicting information, and difficulty obtaining a refund were all very concerning. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to veterans seeking help with their VA disability claims.
A friend turned me onto VAInsider. Let me start by saying they did help get my rating increased. The VA coach I have is great. He is responsive, knowledgeable and sets realistic expectations. In addition the process was super fast for me. From the time I started working with VAinsider to getting a verdict from the VA was less than 2 months.
It pains me to give them a 2 star review but it based off their portal. They moved to a new portal shortly after I started. IT IS ATROCIOUS! The worst portal I have ever dealt with. There is room for me to get a higher rating but I seriously doubt I will be using VAinsider because of how BAD the portal is.
When it first launched none of my previous paperwork moved over from the old portal. In addition none of the buttons worked. I couldn't do anything in it - no uploads, no scheduling of meetings, nothing. After I logged in the first time I set up a user name/password. EVERY time I now log in I have to say I forgot my password. I put in the same password each time and it logs me back in. But it still doesn't save my user name/password. I tried to schedule an appt with my coach although there are no hyperlinks to do that. I sent messages to my account team in the portal. It says they are sent but never get a response. I wanted to pay my portion of the contract. I went in and approved the 1 time payment with a discount. It automatically sent an invoice for the 12 months without any discount. I called their 800 number but they couldn't help. Said I had to go to Finance. I called them and got a voicemail.
I am very busy with my job and personal life. I really don't have time to track down simple requests and tasks because of the lack of the functionality within the portal. Again, VAInsider is great and helped me. But their portal and lack of follow up and fixing the portal has made me go in a different direction for any additional increases I will look to do.
This company preaches how they care and support veterans... they spent two hours helping me with my claim with an exam and cost of over $5000. That's not my issue.... my issue resides in the fact of the support requested after the money grab. Two private Facebook Messages and a dozen emails with zero follow up..... not my idea of support for such a healthy invoice
Completely unresponsive have tried to contact them multiple times in the last two months with zero response. The new site will not let me on even after many password resets so I can not even see the financials which is very frustrating and concerning. I still have a ways to go on my claim and will hopefully have better luck elsewhere.

My husband used them for his claim. While they helped him with it now that it's done they are absolute jerks and 100% totally unresponsive. We have tried for weeks to talk to someone in finance. The main line "elevates your message " and gives you a direct line to call. It's a voicemail recorder. You leave numerous messages but NEVER any reply. Same thing with email, we have sent numerous and NO reply. I would never recommend or use this company again.
And now it gets even worse! Just got a notification (2/25/26) from them that February payment has not been paid . The payment cleared my bank on 2/3/26. Is this a scam to get an extra payment?
This place is a joke and takes advantage of veterans that are not educated on the VA Claim System.

They should have 5 stars. It is free to file your claims unfortunately the VA makes it difficult to get the benefits you well deserved. Fortunately there’s a company who provides services to help you through the confusing process. They were very upfront with the fees associated with there services. My guy Brandon was very professional and very helpful. It is unfortunate that you need to pay for something that you are entitled to but VA insider is not to blame. Brandon guided me through all documents I needed to submit. Very happy with outcome. If I didn’t have them taking me step by step I’d most likely still be fighting for what I deserve as a veteran, or might of just completely gave up. Thank you VA insiders. You folks are great!

VA Claims Insider markets itself like a lifeline, but when “support” comes with a price tag tied to your disability rating, you have to ask who’s really being served here? Veterans shouldn’t have to buy access to benefits they already earned. that’s exploitation dressed up as help! Gross!

It’s bad. Whatever recent changes were made are affecting customer communication and their overall service. The portal is extremely difficult. I can’t even get help with my claims because I can’t even get ahold of anybody. What is going on…. I really needed help but I guess this isn’t the place to get it from anymore.

Once I got past the multiple coach changes and very poor communication my experience was good. The doctors and documentation were great! The price is 2X more than you will pay with equal or better service with many other companies assisting with VA disability claims.
Save your money and get better service with another company. Once I confronted the poor communication issue, they were dismissive and completely stopped returning emails and calls.

I know that some feel that you shouldn’t have to pay for help in filing claims with the VA to get the benefits you deserve, but everyone that goes through this process knows that it is a difficult and stressful process. I was at an impasse trying to get the VA to approve my mental health claim so I turned to VACI for help.
I got denied two more times before I finally got my disability service connected. If it weren't for coach Al Romero I would have just given up, but Al convinced me to keep on pushing and guided me through all of the confusing details and got me across the finish line to a higher rating. I never would have made it without coach Al and the VACI team and I sincerely urge every veteran to not attempt going up against the VBA alone. Do what I did. Trust VACI you will be glad you did!
Wow! I just crossed all the way over to 100% after a 5 year ordeal that could never have been accomplished without the inspiration of the creator of VACI Brian Reese through his videos, or the patient perseverence of both my coaches. Coach Al Romero got me through the early years, then I got paired with coach Mitch Lockwood also absolutely was correct about everything he advised me to do.
Also the VACI recommended medical professinals at telemedica who reviewed my records and wrote my medical opinions obliterated the VA c&p examiners opposite concusions to give me the win all 5 times!
