I started looking for a caregiver for my mother because, we, my wife and I needed help with my 95 year mother care. Interim HealthCare of Bowie answered the call. We are very pleased that they did.

My wife had an accident after which we needed care at home badly . They did an outstanding job , doing all kinds of chores as we wanted them to perform, from cooking to house keeping to taking personal care of my wife in helping her to take a bath , and what not . They were extremely professional and wasted no time in doing their jobs . Even when one was not available, a replacement was provided without any delay , and all of them performed equally well . Their charges are also reasonable. I will not hesitate to recommend to others ,

Kady, the owner of Interim Healthcare, was so amazingly kind, understanding and patient with my family! She was on time for appointments and phone calls and always followed up, even if I forgot. She is extremely kind but more so she is organized, knowledgeable and very quick to provide help even in a crisis. And she is reasonable with pricing and requirements. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs in-home care.

From my understanding and what was reported to me, Dr. Whiteman was very professional and empathic during the Intake process which is really very much needed in home health care. There are many home healthcare services, but I highly recommend Interim of Bowie. Where should I begin? They are Heaven-sent to the Bowie area when it comes to home care for workers and homecare for our loved ones. For starters, their management staff is strong—informative, attentive, good listeners, people oriented, diverse, etc. The staff is competent, trained, and passionate—everyone here loves what they do and it shows in their actions, words, and work! Also, they have a fast response time to emails and calls. You are never left to worry about your loved one not receiving A+ care with this location. They treat their staff and clients’ wonderfully and they keep them motivated with activities, trainings, home enrichment programs, etc. I’ve never been happier with Interim of Bowie.

Interim HealthCare of Bowie was a lifesaver. I had moved across the country to take care of my dad, but as his dementia worsened, the job was more than I could handle and still work for a living, so I started looking for a home care agency for my dad. I was not interested in saving money by hiring a stranger through Craigslist. Interim's caregivers are licensed CNAs who took great care of my dad, ensuring he was fed, bathed, and clothed every day and took his medication. They also tidied up his room, washed his dishes, and did his laundry. If a caregiver had a scheduling conflict, Interim was able to send out a replacement caregiver, which is not something you get when you hire someone directly. Interim also accepted payments from our long term care insurance company, so we didn't have to pay up front and get reimbursed later. And I felt good that the caregivers were supervised by an RN and that the owner herself is a physical therapist. It was a very good experience, and I would recommend them to anyone.

My family loved the care team at Interim HealthCare of Bowie. We needed assistance for my father quickly and they were there for us immediately. My dad's healthcare aid was professional, caring and diligent. I highly recommend Interim HealthCare to any family that needs help either to enable a loved one to get back on their feet after an illness or to perhaps make their latter days more pleasant and safe.
