It turns out I had an eye stoke. I told the er my symptoms and I was taken in, in under 3 minutes. Doctor Scott was very concerned and took great care of me. It wasn’t easy getting finding an ophthalmologist on a Saturday. Dr Scott found one in Chattanooga. That doctor met me at his office at 3pm on a Saturday. I had great care all the way around. Thank you Dr. Scott and UGH.

going above and beyond, caring so much for their well-being of the patients are all unmeasurable.
On my very first appointment they did a soma gram, checked blood flow to the wound, did lab work checking for potential infection, took X-rays of the wound itself, contacted my insurance company and received approval to have an infusion, packed my wound with medicated gauze and set me up with medicated supplies for dressing changes. They also communicated with my surgeon in detail which created a relationship that will be extremely helpful with all medical care.

Edited my review and downgraded to one star. UGH release of radiology reports into the patient portal is ridiculously slow. I'm on day 6 of waiting for my report. I should have saved money by going to Hillcrest. UGH used to be very fast about having the radiology reports back, and uploaded in your patient portal. This just isn't the case anymore. Hillcrest actually got my MRI results back in 5 days. I went to UGH for this last test thinking 5 days was too long to wait for a report. UGH has become slower than Hillcrest and is more expensive. I'd suggest Hillcrest now for radiology needs.

Great Doctors. It was a long 6-7 wk wait to have a procedure done my DR Moody who I have had before but his nurse kindly recommended the partner in the practice Dr. Wrightson and I will be able to have it done in 2 wks.

I stayed at Chatuge for observation late last year, after being taken there by ambulance. Everyone was very caring. One of the nurses had great conversations with me when she realized I was awake in the middle of the night. It is a very caring environment each time I use either Chatuge or Union.

Whomever, does radiology compared a scan several months back which was a right hand ct scan that had a fracture to a left handed ct scan. Umm how can you compare a left hand to a right hand?? You can’t make that up. You might want to place patients one way in the ct scanner so someone doesn’t confuse that again. Either have them go super man or have them lay flat on there back. Now I’m hoping something wasn’t missed because a ct scan was compared to something it should not have been LOL. Good thing I’m following up with someone that looks at my chart to know I had a fractured right wrist and to physically look at the ct scan themselves to confirm there isn’t a fracture. Only delaying care another 2 weeks on a potential fracture that could have been missed.

I recently received hip replacement at Union General with Dr Stirton as the surgeon. We are so fortunate to have such quality medical care in our region? The hospital facility is excellent and the servants hearts of that that work and volunteer there is outstanding. The decision to have the surgery performed locally after also considering alternatives in metropolitan arreas was the right one for me. I appreciate the cooperation among all of the providers beginning with Dr Elizabeth Wiles and Blairsville internal medicine.
