I recently attended a dating scan at Ultrasound Plus and had a very positive experience. The sonographer, Jonas, was exceptionally kind, attentive, and clear in his explanations, which helped put me at ease throughout the appointment. The receptionist was also professional and welcoming, contributing to an overall smooth and pleasant visit. I would highly recommend this clinic and look forward to returning for my 4D scan.
A disappointing experience at this scan clinic after paying 80 pounds.
I arrived on time for my appointment but was served after 20 minutes of waiting and was asked to wait for another 30 minutes. Given that the scan itself only lasted about 15 minutes, this felt like a significant and unnecessary delay.
I was also surprised by the clinic’s policy regarding scan images. I was informed that I could not access digital images from my own scan unless I purchased them. I asked them about GDPR but no one at the clinic could explain what that is or what is the right for me as a customer regarding ultrasounds images of my most private body and my baby.
While I understand that there may be a charge for images, so I agreed to pay, but then I was told I could only choose from a set of 4 of digital which are the same image but very blurry, rather than selecting from all 10 images taken during my scan. Unfortunately, one image I particularly liked about my baby was not made available for purchase.
This process felt restrictive and not very transparent. It may be worth the clinic reviewing both its customer service approach and how it handles patient access to scan images.
Joanne was incredible! We had such a beautiful, funny, memorable, gorgeous experience having our early pregnancy scan because of her. Thank you so much!
