Went in to purchase some items today. There was a 30% off coupon on the display. I got up to the register after waiting in a long line and was told they were full price. I told her there was a coupon on the display. She asked, "well do you want to walk to the back and take a picture" in a snarky tone. Seriously! What is it with stores wanting customers to do all the work for the employees, rude ones at that? I don't remember getting a paycheck from Ulta

Omg I don’t even know where to start, first of all Evelyn was absolutely fantastic. She answered every question my mom and I had, she was so patient and helpful. She was very knowledgeable on all the products that my mom and I wanted and needed. Overall I would come back specifically just for her help again!!
I recently visited the Ulta at Greyhound Pass in Carmel, IN, and what started as a frustrating experience turned into one of the best retail experiences I’ve ever had - all because of Evelynn from Clinique.
After having difficulty locating a product and feeling a bit dismissed, I was ready to leave discouraged. Then I met Evelynn. From the moment she acknowledged me, she was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She offered to color match me and ended up doing my makeup - and I am still blown away.
Not only did she apply everything flawlessly, she took the time to explain every product, every step, and every technique. She even wrote out a step-by-step guide and created a face map so I could recreate the look at home.
I work two full-time jobs as a firefighter and a nurse, so I rarely take time for myself. I’ve always struggled with feeling confident in my makeup application. Because of Evelynn, I now wake up excited to do my makeup. My skin looks healthier, my hands are softer from the skincare she recommended, and most importantly - I feel confident.
I purchased every product she used (and more!) because I trusted her expertise. She didn’t just make a sale - she built loyalty.
Ulta and Clinique are incredibly lucky to have her. Evelynn is truly one of a kind.
I called earlier today (2/10) around lunch time to ask about the differences between two brush sets from Ulta I was viewing online. The person who answered the phone was knowledgeable and professional, and they were kind and communicated with empathy. They explained that they use both brands of brushes in both their personal and professional lives, and they helped me figure out which set was better for what I wanted. My phone cut out when they told me their name but I'm hoping upper management sees this and can give them recognition for how helpful they were!
