You’d think dealing with people with hearing loss they’d automatically offer video calls via WhatsApp or Teams or Zoom, rather than relying on phone calls that can’t be heard and/or are easily misunderstood.
Had to go back to them to correct even simple errors on ENT consultant report and on the solicitors letter of proposed action. .
Originally advised NOT to proceed with getting any hearing aids - glad to say I ignored that, as the person doing my assessment explained that the sooner I get some (NHS or private) the better otherwise hearing can deteriorate more….
All adds to the frustration of a very long process. Hopefully the end result will justify these frustrations.

Hi Rob,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — it is highly valued and I’m sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t met expectations.
Regarding communication, I completely understand how important accessible options are, especially when hearing loss is involved. We do offer video call appointments and I’m sorry this wasn’t clearly communicated to you at the outset. We'll take this on board and review whether we can make this option more clear.
With respect to the report amendments, while our consultants are highly experienced, we understand that occasional errors can occur. If this happens they will be corrected on request and I appreciate your patience in this process.
As for the solicitor’s letter, we understand how frustrating it can be when errors or delays happen in any part of the process. However, the solicitor involved operates independently from UKExpertMedical, and their correspondence and advice are outside of our control.
I hope that your claim is resolved smoothly and that the final outcome proves worthwhile.
Best regards,
Michael

Please avoid them at all costs. Absolutely horrendous incompetent bunch of clowns. They took on a medical negligence case wasted time mote then 16 months. Have not taken a single statement and seem to be working to quash cases for the NHS. Dishonest and liars.

Hello Muhammad,
Thank you for your review.
We’re sorry to read your comments, but we do need to correct several serious inaccuracies.
You first contacted us in May 2024—less than 10 months prior to your posted review. While you were not always available when contacted, both a full statement and medical assessment were completed within a reasonable timeframe.
We are a completely independent medical legal agency, and the suggestion that we work to "quash cases for the NHS" is not accurate. Our role is to provide objective assessments for instructing parties—our in-house medical records team and panel of experts offer these services impartially.
We understand that legal matters can be complex and sometimes frustrating, but it’s important that public statements remain truthful and accurate.
We’d be happy to clarify any concerns further, and respectfully ask that you reconsider and retract the inaccurate elements of your review.
Wishing you all the best,
The UKEM Team

Having utilised the services of UK Expert Medical for over 6 years I can vouch for the impeccable service they provide. Responses to queries are prompt, efficient and they will go the extra mile to try and assist in solving a problem. Their expertise and choice of experts in Industrial Disease and Military claims is exemplary. I would highly recommend instructing UK Expert Medical for any work required in the medico-legal field
Like many other experts on here I have not been paid for reports that have been provided. Despite multiple phonecalls and emails there has still not been a response. The individuals who answer the phone even appear to acknowledge that the 'finance boss' might not pay. Due to the lack of respsonse I have issued court proceedings. This has never happened to me in over 10 years of providing reports to many other reputable companies.
NOT AT ALL HAPPY - OWED MONEY FOR REPORT -
I am very upset by the way that I have recently been treated by UKEM. This is because, despite sending them reminders, I still have not received the previously agreed payment of £1020 for the 12 page medico-legal liability report which I sent as requested to UKEM a year ago on 13th March 2023. UKEM reference for this is CM - 87558 and the solicitor's reference was PI/572312.001. The Client was Master CM whose date of birth is 23.8.2021.This is not how I expect to be treated by a reputable medical agency. Dr Paul Bracey
