Hotel review
I stayed here for my NCLEX-RN exam. The staff are courteous my room was clean and homey. The hotel was just a walking distance to Pearsonvue that was so convenient. A lot of fast foods are also nearby the area which is a plus. The night before my exam I had a good night sleep it helped me a lot on the day of my exam. Thanks One Pacific Place.

The place is very nice.... Near other restaurants ....clean rooms and disinfected ...they upgraded my room to one bedroom premier which comes with free breakfast.The foods are very good..♥️the hotel staffs and all kind and courteous...I will recommend this hotel to my friends...
Front desk and managers are frustrating and lack common sense.
The room stay and housekeeping was good. But dealing with the front desk and their managers was very frustrating. It’s like talking to a bunch of idiots.
We stayed here for our mandatory quarantine, but a newly released IATF 159 resolution was announced the day before our check-in, that allowed ALL vaccinated guests to leave on Feb 1. We initially had a longer booking, but we shortened it to Feb 1. I discussed all of this with the front desk when I called from the airport, but upon check in, she says, oh you have to stay here for the initial 5 day quarantine and testing. I had to reread to her the resolution that indicates that we no longer have to quarantine past Feb 1, it’s in english and from the presidential communication. She still did not believe me. The day before checkout, I called front desk to ask if they have everything they need, so we could leave at midnight on Feb 1. Waited 2 hours for a follow up, then front desk gives the phone to a bell man??? named Russell to tell me that “Yes, we can check out at midnight and you have everything you need.” Midnight comes, I call for luggage assistance. They tell me I can’t checkout, they say I need another document from another entity. I tell them nowhere does it state in the IATF resolution that this was required. I asked them to show me an official document. She tells me that she got this info from a VIBER communication from a hotel group. She doesn’t have anything official other than a viber message. Since when is viber official? Other hotels even sent their guests memos that they CAN CHECKOUT at midnight Feb 1 (IATF facebook group photos). So I had to wait over an hour and argue with them. This document they were looking for did come out after an hour or so, but it was NEVER necessary in the first place, because we’re already vaccinated and they have all of our info. Management is to fully blame here, as the front desk people kept listening to their lack of common sense.
I understand these quarantine situations can be confusing. But they need to have people that understands common sense, especially in a business district. I even showed them an official video that was explained by the main presidential spokesperson in tagalog. Don’t tell me they also don’t understand tagalog?
Also wifi sucks. Cockroaches. kitchen sink is smaller than the bathroom. Kitchen cabinets smelled very bad.
Housekeeping was the only positive.

Quarantine stay was made comfortable
My brother and I stayed at One Pacific Place for our quarantine period and you can't get a more comfortable stay anywhere else. The staff and quarantine personnel were strict with protocol (which is great), but very accommodating and professional. Requests were attended to and front desk was very helpful to quarantined travelers. And most of all their INTERNET CONNECTION was exceptional. Was able yo work and attend meetings without any lag or delay. Would recommend 10/10.

I highly recommend for you to try the Beef Bulalo and Pinakbet w/ Milkfish Belly, masterfully prepared by Chef Mhigs. The portions are good and savoury.

Ideal place to stay for NCLEX Exam.
The Hotel is the ideal Hotel for aspiring filipino nurses who are planning to take their US NCLEX exam. It is just a 2-minute walking distance from the testing area (Pearson Vue -Salcedo building).
Walking towards the testing area can actually help loosen your nerves and tone down your anxiety.
I stayed here for 3 nights and just utilized the room for studying and relaxation. They also have a restaurant "Strand Cafe" that you can order thru room service. (Because of the pandemic the restaurant is closed but accepts order for room guests and room service only).
The food was great and delectable. Pretty much ordered most, if not all, of their specials and And I recommend their "Sisig" and "Pork Carahay Binagoongan".
Also, during my stay, I was given free daily breakfast and bottled water 350ml (2 bottles) every day. (I think the breakfast is inclusive with the room rate)
The location is very close to fast food restaurants such as Jollibee and Mcdonalds. Or you can just ordered online thru food couriers sucj as Grab, Foodpanda.,etc. There are also coffee shops near the hotel.
And if you're here for an annual medical check-up, the hotel is also a walking distance to Makati Medical Center.

Also, i would like to commend Ms. Tina Soriano for taking actions with regard to my PRC license ID that i left in the hotel. They mailed it to my address here in Negros Oriental after i informed them about it. I transferred my payment thru gcash.
They did an extra mile on that. And that is why I will be going back to this hotel in the near future.

Quarantine Stay- Spacious Room, Great Staff, Food is Superb!
I chose One Pacific Place in Makati because I have stayed here previously. We are required to undergo quarantine so we chose a One Bedroom Suite to at least enjoy the stay with a bit more space. The room has an induction stove, microwave, full refrigerator, water heater and a sink. We brought along easy food items that we can cook in anticipation of this stay. We are very glad to have the option to cook our own fried rice in the morning!
The food that goes with our quarantine package is for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are not paying an excessive amount for the room + food package so my standards are realistic in terms of the food. I was expecting basic. But it's a pleasant surprise that the restaurant, Chef Migs and his team, are able to come up with variety of items to offer given (I supposed) a limited budget. It's not the usual restaurant style of serving that they have at Strands Cafe (the hotel restaurant) but it's a packed meal complete with your main course, a side dish, dessert, and rice. Sometimes when the kitchen feels generous, they throw in something extra like that container full of beef nilaga which I truly appreciate.
The staff are courteous, they were wearing protective gears and are all masked when on duty. The rooms are dated, I can see traces of wear and tear but otherwise well kept. For the value for my money, I say One Pacific Place is a great option to stay for your dreaded quarantine. If we're all doing it anyway, might as well do it somewhere you can enjoy at least!

Room 3810 is the Best place to Quarantine for 10 Days
I probably looked into dozens of hotels trying to determine the best hotel to quarantine for 10-days, made an overseas calls to about 6 different hotels to quickly get answers, the important criteria at the time must have 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and reputation for cleanliness.
Really glad and thankful I made the right choice and even my husband at the very moment we stepped inside our unit put up both his hands to give me a thumbs-up. I booked for May 21 to May 30, 2021 in a Two Bedroom Executive Premier with 64-sqm but we got an 80-sqm very spacious unit upgraded to 2 Bedroom Executive Suite, Room 3810 – how cool was that? The 2 bedrooms are separated with dining table and living room in the middle – perfect layout.
My encounter in this hotel started with phone call to Christine while I was still in US, I probably called the hotel 3 times prior to our trip. She confirmed couples are allowed in the unit as long as both traveled together and lived at the same household. The check-in was swift, the hotel security even helped us with our suitcases, and after filling up some forms in the lobby we were escorted to our Room. The unit itself was clean overall, the kitchen was clean, full-size fridge and the 2-burner induction Imarflex looks new. I was fully aware there will be no cleaning from staff while in quarantine that’s why the plan is to sleep 5 days in 1 room and the remaining half to the other room, same routine on the bathroom.
Grocery delivery is allowed from one of the local App Pick-A-Roo, staff also helped me in getting some of items we need – when it comes to service everyone who works here are very responsive and they do return call to follow-up. Another important to mention are the Maintenance Staff of this hotel – we had a problem on the master bedroom’s toilet not properly flushing because of the leak which also causes hissing noise. After informing the front desk of this toilet problem, they had the entire toilet replaced!! The 4-pcs drop-lights on top of the dining table were busted after a few days only 2 were working – they sent a crew to replace the entire light fixture. These 2 replacements say a lot on how this hotel shows their concern on guest’s comfort.
I cannot comment on wifi stability because we both have Globe and Smart pocket wifi we used for work.
The only negative comment I can give is the limited selection of food in the hotel restaurant menu which you will repeatedly eat for 10 days if you don't cook in the unit.
Don’t hesitate to stay in this hotel, you will be in good hands and the unit 3810 has the space you need while locked-up for 10-days (see photos).

Needs improvement
The Wi-Fi was horrible. I chose this place because the reviews said the Wifi was great but it was far from the truth. The phone also didn't work so when it was time to check out after quarantine and after I sent all the necessary documents to their email, I couldn't contact them. I tried the regular hotel phone number and still nobody was picking up. Never staying in this place again.

Most enjoyable stay!
I stayed here during my most recent trip to Manila for the mandatory 10-day quarantine. Their staff from the front desk, to security , housekeeping and room service have been so accommodating and very helpful. Everyone was friendly and courteous. My room has a very nice view of Makati's financial district which helped some in easing the boredom of being stuck inside for 10 days. I am definitely recommending this place. We can't wait to come back and stay with them again.
