Took my nephew here today for a easy puncture repair. Tyre comes off. Tries telling us the tyres almost at legal minimum and probably not worth repairing. The tyres to replace would be about £250. Puncture cost £18 which is high in my eyes.
Tried saying both front tyres was nearly done with. So we took it to the place he bought it down the road. Tested with a tyre gauge. Showed between 2.8 and 3mm depth. Legal minimum is 1.6mm. Bald guy with glasses needs to stop trying to upsell. I knew the tyres was fine but played along with him. The car in question is only a year old and tyres were replaced 7 months ago.
Hes also not a very good person to have front of house. Hes rude and if my nephew was on his own he'd of probably had him replace both tyres.
Took my Yaris to tyre save on the phone to chole advised what I wanted and was very helpful to my car to them and the gentleman looked at my tyres and said I dident need them which was very honest thank you. So told him that I had a slow puncture on all four tyres so he said we will take off all four tyres clean them and change the value which was causing the air to be released very greatful car is spot on I will recommend this place and I will be using you again thank you for your honesty and help hope your business does really well nice helpful staff.
Absolutely excellent - I dont live in Manchester but got a puncture and went here - I have quite unusual tyres but they were helpful and managed to get 2 new ones changed for me within an hour. Nice warm office to sit in whilst I waited - absolutely faultless brilliant service thankyou
I was in the middle of Manchester, an hour away from home, when I realised there was a huge bolt in my tyre. I quickly Googled the closest tyre garage and this one came up. They got me in within 10 minutes of arriving and had the tyre repaired in no time. They also checked the air pressure on all my other tyres for peace of mind.
Fantastic service, very efficient, and a really reasonable price too. Highly recommended, these guys genuinely saved the day for me. Thank you again!
Dishonest and scammer
Avoid Tyresave – dishonest and unsafe! I ordered a specific tyre for my Tesla Model 3 AWD to match my 3 existing Y-rated tyres, but they changed it to a lower-rated W tyre without telling me. They pressured me, saying I could change it back to my old broken tyre and that it was “okay” to use the lower-rated tyre alongside the others. Under this pressure, I accepted it and drove off. Later, I checked with Tesla and confirmed it was unsafe. Tyresave refused to fix it and offered no apology. Feels like a scam — avoid!
