Theft. Damage. Dishonesty. Lack of Integrity. Please listen to the reviews regarding theft, property damage, and the way these situations have been handled. These are not one time occurrences. Look up Two Men and A Truck San Diego on the Better Business Bureau and read the disputes / claims yourself. I hired Two Men and A Truck in May 2024 - there was damage, stains, rips to items, damage to floor boards to both homes (point A & point B), theft of $800 cash and a box of jewelry, and incredibly inconsistent and untruthful communication from the Customer Experience Specialist Adriana Espina & the Owner of the Franchise, Enrique Alvarez. They did not use floor protectors, they threw everything in the back of the truck, they didn't wrap cushions, basically everything a moving company is supposed to do- they didn't do it. I had also paid a $150 fee to cover up to $5000 worth of damage. After being ghosted by TMAAT for several weeks and inconsistent communication I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General, as well as made several phone calls the to TMAAT Corporate Office and that's is when I finally got a response - they then refunded me the cost of the move, but that alone did not cover for all damage, and at this same time they had responded to the the BBB stating "Damages have been repaired by a professional vendor. While the affected areas may not appear in pristine condition, I can assure you that all necessary repairs have been thoroughly completed." This statement is absolutely false, untrue and an outfight lie. At this point, they hadn't reached back out to me after weeks of calling, emailing, leaving texts / voicemails. Not a single vendor has ever laid eyes on the couches to this day and they are claiming they have been repaired to the best of their ability. If that doesn't tell you enough about the ethics of this company, I don't know what will. I reported this to the Corporate Office and they then turned around said the $1349.50 refund was sufficient to cover stains and rips on two couches (which are valued beyond $7K) and also covers the cost of repairing two different homes hardwoods floors based on their vendor quotes. I recently used Two Men and a Truck for a long-distance move from San Diego to Seattle, and it was a highly disappointing experience. The company's name suggests that they provide "two men and one truck," but unfortunately, that promise was not fulfilled during the delivery. When the truck arrived, there was only one person available to help unload. We were promised a two to three-hour unloading process, but it ended up taking a grueling 12 to 13 hours. This was especially problematic as our household included a pregnant woman, a toddler, and someone with a bad back, making it impossible for us to assist with the unloading. Additionally, our items were not placed in the correct rooms despite clear labeling on the boxes and instructions given to the mover. This has resulted in a chaotic situation where, even a week after the move, we are still struggling to sort through our belongings. Our three-story house is filled with furniture in the wrong rooms, and we have no way to move them ourselves. To make matters worse, our door was damaged during the move, adding to the stress and frustration of the experience. The movers also failed to use neoprene floor runners, as they stated they would, which contributed to additional wear and tear on our floors. The move cost us $12,300, which makes the poor service even more unacceptable. We've already been informed that they will not provide any discount aside from removing charges for TV boxes we did not end up using. Overall, this move was a nightmare, and I cannot recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient moving service. We are still dealing with the aftermath of this poorly executed move, and it has left a lasting negative impression.

We apologize for the issues during your recent move. We understand how frustrating this must have been and would like to explain what happened. Our Washington office was supposed to provide the unloading staff, but due to last-minute issues, they couldn't send the movers or find replacements in time. Our driver had to perform the entire unloading, which was very demanding, and he did his best under the circumstances. You contracted a flat rate for your move from San Diego to Seattle, regardless of the time it took. While we understand your frustration, we regret to inform you that a refund or discount is not applicable. Again, we appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

These guys were not only on time, but they showed up with 3 Men!! They did a very professional job and they did it fast! We ended up having a few more items that were not on our inventory list and they had no problem loading them up. Everyone hates moving but Two Men and a Truck made it easy and painless.

I can’t say enough good things about the team from Two Men and a Truck that helped us with our move today! We got the DREAM TEAM for sure!! These 4 young men were super respectful, fun to have around all day, organized, hardworking etc etc!! This has been the absolute BEST moving experience of my life!
