Turo is joke! I was a 5 star rated customer for 8 years and then they completely ripped me off! ***** (the individual we rented from through Turo) is based out of the ******************************. ***** is somehow rated 5 stars. At the last minute he changed our rental car to an older model which had 2 warning lights which he had been ignoring. Sounds like a 5 star host to me!?!! His listing on Turo says he thoroughly vacuums his vehicle before the next rental. He also states that you get a free car wash however no code or token was provided. We, obviously, went to the beach during our vacation and there was a LITTLE sand in the vehicle when we returned it. We shook out the floor mats and uploaded pictures through the Turo app, as instructed. We had nothing to hide. ***** claimed we left excessive sand in the car and Turo took his word for it! They automatically charged my credit card for $165. My attorney reviewed the pictures and documents on the Turo app and agreed they had no right to charge me anything, especially since they suffered no damages (***** vacuums prior to the next guest anyway, right?). Do NOT use this service!

Wish I could give 0 stars! Just tried to pick up a vehicle (that I was charged for the day before my reservation) and found it to be in poor condition. Immediately I called Turo to cancel the reservation. I wasted an hour on the phone only to find out that they would be charging me. I never left with the car, not even to drive around the block. The time stamps show when my reservation begins, when I begin to take pictures of the car and when I call to cancel, proving I didnt use the reservation. Yet, Im still expected to pay a fee. I am very disappointed and will not be using this service again.

I had a bad experience with renting a car from this company and I want people to know that ************ deletes negative reviews to make themselves look better than they are.

I've rented 3 cars through Turo and it's all been super easy. The first vehicle I rented, I was able to arrange picking it up right in the airport parking garage, which cut so much time out for us. It's super hassle-free and often better pricing than using a national rental chain.

Great trip, vehicle got us to the destination just fine. No issues and ride was smooth. Great car for the price as well. I would use this vehicle and service again. Vehicle was clean and good on the gas. The mileage was good for the year of vehicle as well

On both rentals the vans were very clean and just like they were described by the listings. We enjoyed both vans during our vacation. The only issue we had was the drop off section at Sea-Tac airport for big vans was not very easy to walk to due to the parking garage's layout. This is a Sea-Tac issue not Turo or the Van owner.

It was amazing, I would definitely tell a friend to do this. Simple and easy app to use. Gene was an absolute great host, made it an experience. My wife and I will definitely do this again. The Slingshot was in excellent condition, clean. Gene made sure to go over all the safety features and go over all the options with the Slingshot. Helped my wife and I feel comfortable on our ride.

Thanks so much for going out of your way to meet us at the port dock. It made our trip so much more enjoyable. We enjoyed our self directed tour of beautiful Juneau, Alaska. We would definitely rent again. The car was clean and fit our needs perfectly. And the easy return was made our drive perfect.

My rental was easy to book, pick up, and return. Justin and Noelle made sure the last minute vehicle swap due to no fault of my own was a very seamless and did not delay my trip. Very great customer service and experience from start to finish. I will use them for all my future trip needs.

Vehicle owner provided excellent communication and details regarding pickup and drop off of the vehicle. Car was comfortable and in good working order. Vehicle was clean and had great technology to make driving and navigating a pleasure. Plenty of room for my family and luggage too. Overall a very pleasant experience and would certainly rent with Turo again.

Communication was great. Vehicle was right there at the airport parking garage. Got off the plane with instructions how to get to the vehicle. The vehicle was in great shape. Had zero issues. App makes it easy to step through the process. Returning the vehicle was just as easy. Top notch service and communication from the vehicle owner.

Hi always a good experience but this last time I was late but had good and quick response to solve my issue. Great host, would highly recommend. But the trip fee to extended is steep. Would like to see it come down slightly. That’s why now I try not extend. But if you in a pinch for a car I would use Turo

This was my first time using Turo, the process was extremely easy and my host was wonderful and helped me with extending my use of the vehicle. The vehicle was very well maintained as I travelled out of state and had no problems. I will definitely use Turo again and recommend to friends and family.

My family used Turo while in Colorado for a sports tournament with our son. The owner of the vehicle provided us with great communication and we felt safe in our vehicle the entire time. We had a great experience, it was easy to use, and will definitely be using Turo again!

I had an excellent experience! I highly recommend renting from Ethan. Ethan was responsive and made my experience so easy. The car was perfect, clean and in great shape. I loved the option of airport pick up and drop off. The cost was reasonable. I would definitely rent with him again.

Will never rent a vehicle with Turo again. Very disappointed in the customer service and for being charged for a day I did not use vehicle. Host confirmed I would be refunded but Turo has denied me being refunded for the day that I canceled, in advance. Lost a customer, and I will be sure to tell others of how disappointed this experience was.

The experience was great. This is my third time using Turo and it’s been great every time. The host this time was very helpful. I’ve never driven an electric car and he was very helpful in explaining everything and when I had questions on my trip he was very quick to respond.

Cars are always really clean, no problems at all, pick up from location and drop off is never complicated. Host calls to reassure your trip will be successful. This is my third time using same host and will continue to book with host for all my traveling needs. Thank you

Host was very responsive and assured me that I would safe and comfortable in their car. I was able to get back and forth to work while my car was being repaired. I was also able to extend cause my repair took longer than expected. The app is really simple to use and the cars are affordable.

Very grateful for this opportunity Turo provides. Would love to become a host of my own one day. My hostess are always understanding as well as accommodating.
