Этот город буквально завораживает. Пить чай на корме парома, идущего из Эминеню в Кадыкёй, и бросать симит чайкам, теряться среди разноцветных улочек Балата на склонах холмов и наблюдать за закатом в Каракёе — это были самые незабываемые моменты в моей жизни. В мире нет другого мегаполиса, который бы так эстетично, исторически и энергично объединял два континента. Для любителей культуры, истории и гастрономии Стамбул — это определенно то место, которое нужно увидеть хотя бы раз в жизни.

Servicio increíble para escalas largas Tenía una escala de 9 horas en el Aeropuerto de Estambul. En lugar de quedarme sentado en la zona lounge mirando mi teléfono, acudí al mostrador de Touristanbul en el aeropuerto. Organizaron un tour por la ciudad totalmente gratuito. Nos recogieron en un autobús muy cómodo y nos llevaron a Sultanahmet; visitamos la Cisterna Basílica acompañados por un guía profesional y el tour incluía además un almuerzo fantástico. Gestionaron el tráfico y los horarios tan bien que estuve en mi puerta de embarque justo a tiempo, sin pasar por el miedo de perder mi vuelo. Es un servicio increíble para los pasajeros en tránsito.

Transformative layover experience with great perks While traveling from Sydney to Switzerland, I used Turkish Airlines’ Stopover program. With a layover of over 20 hours, I was eligible for a complimentary stay at a wonderful hotel in Sultanahmet. Since my luggage was checked through to Switzerland, I explored the city with just a backpack. Being able to rest in a comfortable hotel after a long flight and then wander through the historic streets the next morning felt like a true luxury. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to turn their journey into two enjoyable trips.

Worst experienced in my whole life. The first part flight was delayed by over one hour.because of that we missed our second flight. We are stuck at the airport with my minor child. The carepoints completely ignoring us only just told us wait and sit. From morning untill night me and minor child starving and sleep on chairs inside airport. We hve been in airport 3 pm of june 10 untill june 11.your staff at the desk in carepoints completely useless .Under airline laws you must give me and my minor daghther food. Only when we are begging and crying for starving. 8 pm u give us one meal voucher. You dont hve heart at all. Shame on you! We sleep chair on the airport 3 times you change flight.so disgusting.

HORRIBLE et toujours en ATTENTE de REMBOURSEMENT A FUIR, n'achetez pas de billets avec eux. Pour un voyage au Sénégal en août 25, la compagnie a perdu un de mes sacs, finalement livré le 9 octobre donc 3 mois. J'ai retrouvé des affaires détériorés et jusqu'à ce jour (juin 26), le service client me fait tourner en bourrique pour ne pas me rembourser mon argent. Malgré un déplacement à l'aéroport, au siège dans le 8e à Paris, ainsi qu'emails et appels au SAV en anglais. Aucun respect alors que 4 billets ont été achetés. C'est de la daupe et ils n'ont AUCUN RESPECT pour leurs clients donc FUYEZ

Turkish canceló el vuelo y BudgetAir me dice que no les ofrecen alternativa de cambio. Turkish me dice que BudgetAir no sabe tramitarlo porque si les han ofrecido alternativa. Reclamas y no te responden.

Avoid Turkish Airlines like a plague Turkish Airlines were nominated as Best European Airline multiple times. Unfortunately recently they became so bad that I recommend avoiding those airlines like plague. I bought a business class ticket to Nha Trang, Vietnam from Vilnius. My plans in Vietnam changed and I needed to return back earlier than my initial plan. Today is the fourth day I am trying to change my flight back. I tried every communication channel possible - my TA account, WhatsApp, calling to customer service in Turkey, email, you name it. Nothing worked. Agent promises to change my flight, then all of a sudden he/she says they need some kind of approval or confirmation and "they will call me back" or contact me on WhatsApp and that never happens. New flight appears on my TA account, but when I am ready to leave for the airport, it disappears and the entire process starts again. After 4 days I am ready to cancel my flight with Turkish Airlines and never book any flight with them again. In my professional career I flew many airlines and TA were really good, but they became one of the worst ones ever. If this review makes at least one person in the world to change their mind and choose another airline, it was worth writing.

Complaint Regarding Turkish Airlines Flight TK0035 (Istanbul – Montreal) – July 26, 2024 I am deeply disappointed and concerned by the way Turkish Airlines handled flight TK0035 from Istanbul to Montreal on July 26, 2024. Although boarding was completed on time, passengers remained on board for approximately one hour before departure without any explanation. After about two hours of flight, the crew announced that the aircraft was experiencing a technical problem and that we would be diverting to Vienna. The crew appeared confused and communication throughout the incident was poor. Announcements were infrequent, contradictory, and often difficult to understand. Passengers were left without clear information for hours. What was particularly unacceptable was the lack of care shown toward families and children. Meal service had begun approximately 30 minutes after takeoff but was abruptly stopped after the diversion decision. No alternative meals or snacks were provided despite repeated concerns from passengers. My children went approximately seven hours without food, which is simply unacceptable. I strongly suspect that Turkish Airlines was already aware of the technical issue before departure from Istanbul. Boarding had been completed on time, yet the aircraft remained on the ground for an additional hour before takeoff. This raises serious questions regarding transparency and decision-making. The landing in Vienna was difficult and concerning. The aircraft landed at approximately 5:12 p.m., yet passengers were not allowed to leave the aircraft until 11:49 p.m. During those more than six hours on the ground, communication remained inadequate and passengers received little information or assistance. Even more concerning, passengers were informed that Turkish Airlines intended to continue the journey using the same aircraft that had experienced the technical problem. This caused significant anxiety among passengers who had already endured a stressful and frightening experience. Throughout this ordeal, the crew and cabin staff demonstrated very little empathy. Hungry children were ignored, passengers were left confused, and there was no clear communication, no sincere apology, and no visible concern for the well-being of those on board. At times, crew members appeared more engaged in conversations among themselves than in assisting worried passengers. Following the incident, I communicated my concerns directly to Turkish Airlines, hoping that the company would acknowledge the seriousness of the situation and provide a meaningful explanation. Unfortunately, their response was extremely disappointing. The communication was poor, generic, and failed to address the specific concerns I had raised. There was no accountability, no empathy, and no indication that Turkish Airlines understood the distress caused to passengers, especially families with children. Passengers deserve safety, transparency, respect, and basic care. Unfortunately, Turkish Airlines failed to provide these basic standards. Not only was the handling of Flight TK0035 on July 26, 2024 unacceptable, but the company's response to legitimate customer concerns was equally disappointing. This experience has severely damaged my confidence in Turkish Airlines, and I believe other travelers deserve to know how passengers are treated when things go wrong.

Worst experience with an airline Turkish Airlines left us stranded at Auckland Airport after our reservation was cancelled without notice. We spent 8 hours calling customer service and received no solution, forcing us to purchase replacement flights at our own expense to avoid missing our cruise. To make matters worse, Turkish Airlines later cancelled our return flight because they marked us as a "no-show" on a flight we were unable to board due to their own booking issue. Weeks later, we are still waiting for a meaningful response to our complaint. Extremely disappointing customer service and lack of accountability.

Cancelled my return ticket without notification, refused to refund the CHF 539 I had to pay to get home I am writing about a serious mishandling of booking UGX8YC by Turkish Airlines. My mother was scheduled to fly IST-ZRH on TK1911 (8 May 2026) and BSL-IST on TK1924 (22 May 2026). She missed the outbound flight because her connecting Aeroflot flight from southern Russia was delayed by over 11 hours due to a complete closure of southern Russian airspace on 8 May 2026, a clear force majeure event entirely beyond her control. Turkish Airlines then silently cancelled her return ticket without any notification whatsoever. To make this worse, Turkish Airlines actually sent her an online check-in invitation for the return flight, allowed her to begin the check-in process, and showed her a seat assignment. We only discovered the cancellation when she arrived at Basel Airport. We spent two hours at the desk while staff tried to understand the situation, and were eventually forced to purchase a replacement ticket at CHF 539.47, just 40 minutes before departure. I submitted a detailed complaint with full documentation, including the check-in invitation screenshot. The first response from Turkish Airlines completely ignored the actual subject of the complaint and told us to contact another company (which had nothing to do with the cancellation of the TK return ticket). After escalation, the second response (cases TK-14622828 and S1-47163576) cited their "no-show" policy and refused to refund anything. They did not explain why a check-in invitation was sent for a flight they claim was cancelled two weeks earlier. They did not address the refund request at all. The "no-show" practice of automatically cancelling return tickets has been called "disproportionate" by the UK Civil Aviation Authority and ruled unfair by courts in Germany and Spain. But beyond the legal point, the basic customer service failure here is striking: no notification, a misleading check-in invitation, and a flat refusal to take any responsibility. Avoid Turkish Airlines, they will use any excuse to keep your money.

Great flight experience but worst experience with lost and found baggage customer service ⭐☆☆☆☆ Terrible lost baggage service on Houston (IAH) to Istanbul (IST) flightI flew nonstop from Houston to Istanbul Airport, and Turkish Airlines lost my checked bags. While the flight itself was fine, the ground customer service has been completely unacceptable. The baggage claim and lost and found departments are incredibly unhelpful, unresponsive, and uncoordinated. Trying to get anyone to locate my luggage or provide an accurate update has been a nightmare. If you fly this route, do not trust them

Months of waiting for a refund after Turkish Airlines cancelled my flight. Completely unacceptable. Turkish Airlines cancelled my flight months ago. Under international aviation laws, I am legally entitled to a full cash refund to my original payment card. Instead, their automated customer support has given me the runaround for months. Their latest response claims the funds were successfully sent to an old, inactive "TK Cüzdan" account, but my active TKPAY Wallet balance remains at zero. This is a technical glitch on their side, trapping my money. I have repeatedly requested a manual override to send the cash back to my Spanish bank account, but they have gone completely silent. Avoid booking with them if you expect consumer rights to be respected.

Bad experience Second time I get a flight with them and I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be the last one. They continue to make the same mistakes on planning long flights, even if a whole year is gone, causing long delays and unexpected stops inside airports. The worst comes when costumer service is needed; rudeness and no interest on solving problems by the staff and almost zero assistance by the company when they make a mistake. Basically the only good thing they have is movies’ list. Never again

WARNING- SCAM COMPANY WARNING!!! WORST airline in the world!!! First of all, their customer service is basically non exisent and they keep making you run in circles!! We made a booking last year DIRECTLY through Turkish Airlines and they made a mistake on our booking and took NO accountability what so ever! We spend months trying to fix it- endless ridiculous feedback forms, calls and even went to the airport to talk to them in person! They kept saying they would fix it and never bothered too. So we had to cancel our ticket out of our own pockets for a mistake on their end! Also there is no one higher up to talk to- no managers, supervisor etc they always tell you to fill out another feedback form. They essentially dragged out our issue for 7 full months and we spent almost everyday trying to fix it. What an absolute scam of a company.

6 Months Later: Still No Baggage, No Compensation, No Resolution ⭐ 1 Star Turkish Airlines lost my checked baggage on Flight TK75 from Istanbul to Vancouver on December 6, 2025. Baggage Tracking Number: YVRTK14153 More than 6 months have passed since the baggage was lost. Despite numerous follow-ups and a compensation claim, I continue to receive generic responses stating that the baggage is still being traced. No meaningful update, resolution, or compensation timeline has been provided. Losing baggage can happen with any airline, but leaving a customer without a resolution for over six months is unacceptable. The lack of accountability, communication, and urgency in handling this case has been extremely frustrating. I expected better service from an international airline.
