Injusticia por emergencia médica Compre vuelo ida y vuelta, pero por una emergencia familiar de mi padre que tuvieron que hospitalizarlo y operarlo por un tumor en la cabeza tuve que adelantar mi vuelo para lo que turkish airlines no me ayudo porque me cobraban por el cambio más del triple del billete original, tuve que volar con otra aerolínea, y ahora no me quieren mantener el regreso, a pesar de que mis hijos y mi esposo vuelan allí y he presentado toda la evidencia medica y de parentesco que me solicitaron, me hacen un reembolso y me obligan a pagar de nuevo un billete que ahora vale más del triple y mucho más caro que cualquier aerolínea.

Worse experience Worse experience. We were flying from Dar es salaam to Toronto layover was in Istanbul for an hour to connecting flight. We missed our connecting flight due to the flight taking off from Dar es salaam was delayed one and a half hour. The flight only had one bathroom working for a full flight thats very unorganized. We land in the airport its a zoo. We didn't get our boarding pass when we flew from Dar es salaam so we had to wait at the transfer desk for one hour. We landed turkey at 3.00pm our connecting flight was at 3.20pm,but because how unorganized Turkish airlines is no one was willing to help us. If we had our boarding pass, we could have may be made to the gate but this is very frustrating. On top of that they don't know English no one explains anything we had to ask multiple people for where hotel transfer is. This is all with two toddlers. At the hotel transfer so unorganized they have number printing system our number did not show up on the board but the number after us showed up. So we went to the kiosk. People are yelling at us and being so rude no respect at all telling us multiple times to read the board. We know how to read the board but if our number did not show up how is that our fault. The hotel transfer is unorganized we are 4 of us. They couldn't provide us with one room. This whole thing has been very frustrating. Turkish airlines you need to do better and make your customers happy. We have taken Emirates and KLM before never had this trouble. Never taking Turkish again. Since 3pm we are at airport until 7pm sorting all this crap.

Causano un ritardo di 24 ore e non si prendono responsabilità concrete Pessima esperienza. Per un problema tecnico causato dalla compagnia, il mio volo ha subito un ritardo di circa 2 ore che mi ha impedito di prendere la connessione per Cape Town, costringendomi a partire 24 ore dopo e causando un'assenza dal lavoro. Sono stato obbligato a restare ad Instanbul in un albergo Hilton scadente con qualità del cibo pessima e situato in un'area desolata. Ho richiesto rimborso dei trasporti e del pranzo avuto nella giornata persa ad Instanbul e mi è stato negato dalla compagnia. Molto deluso dalla compagnia che forse credeva di tenermi per un giorno intero chiuso in un albergo scadente per 24 ore situato in un'area completamente deserta dove non era possibile neppure passeggiare a piedi.

Worst company ever Flight from Krakow to Istanbul cancelled and no information provided, the reason was “the pilots are afraid of fog” bro are you serious? The weather in Krakow was pretty awesome and only our flight was cancelled. This means that there were uneducated and unskilled pilots. This was the last time I flew with Turkish Airlines. We’ve lost about 1000 PLN, we’ve lost one day of our holiday, DO NOT FLY WITH TURKISH AIRLINES, THIS HAD NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE. I’ll never recommend Turkish airlines to anyone, I’m still wondering why it is top 10 best airlines in the world.

Bad experience at JFK I came to the airport 4 hours prior to the departure for checkin. The checkin is completed but there is no error in issuing the boarding pass to all the passengers. Systems are slow, staff is slow, when I ask them how long will it take: vague response. PNR TRBZXA

Unfair Fight went amazing, but before the connecting flight we were 2 minutes late and we couldn’t get in the plane, the plane didn’t leave for another 40 minutes. Travelling with kids and elderly people and we were treated horribly. I am optimistic but this really sucked.

V helpful staff + good food I had a bit of the medical situation where I briefly collapsed, probably due to low bp, during an overnight flight. The staff were very caring and found a doctor on the flight to examine me. Really appreciate it. The food was also v solid, in particular the deserts. Plus the selection of videos was great, lots of quality movies, and HBO content.

Disappointed I would like to share my experience at **Venice Marco Polo Airport** when trying to board my **Turkish Airlines** flight I had an issue with my airline ticket, and after discussing it with Turkish Airlines customer service via chat, I was told that the situation was not serious and that name mismatches happen frequently. Turkish Airlines representatives even suggested that the airport manager could assist me if needed.h When I asked to speak with the manager, a female staff member — who only gave her identification number **879** but refused to provide her name — came to handle the situation. Unfortunately, she was extremely **unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional**. Instead of offering assistance or explaining any possible solution, she repeatedly raised her voice and told me to “**go and buy another ticket**,” without providing any advice on how I could resolve the issue, request a refund, or properly close my booking. Every question I asked was met with loud, dismissive responses like “**this is not the correct ticket**,” and at the end, she simply turned her back and walked away. This behavior is completely unacceptable from airport staff, especially in an international airport where passengers may not speak the local language or might not have the means to buy a new ticket immediately. I was left without support, guidance, or even basic courtesy. I hope the airport reviews this behavior and takes steps to ensure that staff are trained to assist travelers respectfully and professionally.

TURKISH AIRLINES My wife and I did not enjoy flying with Turkish Airlines from Manchester to Istanbul then on to Singapore 25th/26th November. We enjoyed even less our return flights from Hong Kong to Istanbul then on to Manchester. We consided upgrading to Business Class but I'm glad we didn't waste our money. Turkish Airlines Business class from Manchester to Istanbul is nothing more than Premier Economy. Their longhaul Business Class flights from Istanbul to Singapore and their longhaul flights from Hong Kong to Istanbul is slightly better but not worth the extra cost. The travel industry report that air travel is on the increase, yet in my opinion, unless you can afford to fly Business Class or First Class, flying Economy Class is the most uncomfortable form of travel. As always, Airlines cram you in like sardines with very little leg room and uncomfortable seats. I gave Turkish Airlines two stars only because we arrived at our destinations and didn't lose our luggage. For a national airline landing at Istanbul Airport after an 11 hour flight from Hong Kong we were transferred to the airport terminal by bus was disgusting. Finally, when we tried to claim our Airmiles online, their website wouldn't accept our email address, even though we had registered. However, they can keep them. We're no longer interested in Turkey Airlines.

Bad customer service One of the worst customers service. Wel not complaining about their but specifically their customers services foe miles and smiles. Almost a month now they couldn't come up woth a helpful rpely as to why my miles won't convert to shell point. Tried calling, sending feedback nothing worked. They really nee md go recruit ppl who knows and can deal with problems

Je ne conseille pas cette compagnie. La prochaine fois ,je lirais les avis avant de prendre les billets. C'est vrai, c'est une compagnie a éviter, les hôtesses mal gracieuse, la nourriture pas terrible...et nous sommes serré comme des sardines.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE! We had flight from Zanzibar to Athens with stop in Istanbul with Turkish airlines In the connection flight we was on time but they say to us that the plain left... So they book us another flight after 5 hours The problem was we had connection flight from Athens to Crete and we lost it and we payed 250 euros again! They didn't say even sorry they was very rude and arrogant in the desk! They just give me a voucher for a burger And they say that i must fill up a complain formula if i want to take a refund for the flight The worst experience ever! NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS AIRLINES

Ontzettend onbetrouwbaar Wat een enorme teleurstelling. We hebben een aanzienlijk bedrag betaald voor een businessclass-ticket, maar kregen daar allesbehalve businessclass voor terug. Op de heenreis hadden we 8 uur vertraging. Sinds november zijn we bezig om het bedrag terug te krijgen dat ons is toegezegd, maar tot op heden zonder resultaat. Er wordt alles aan gedaan om het proces zo moeilijk en omslachtig mogelijk te maken. Tot overmaat van ramp werd op de terugreis onverwacht het vliegtuig gewisseld, wat resulteerde in een duidelijke downgrade van de service en comfort. Dit stond in geen verhouding tot wat we hadden geboekt en betaald. Voor ons is dit een onbetrouwbare ervaring geweest. Wij zullen niet meer met Turkish Airlines vliegen en raden anderen aan hier goed over na te denken.

Schlechte Erreichbarkeit und mangelhafte Betreuung bei Buchungsproblemen, keine Problemlösungskompetenz Wir hatten einen von Turkish Airline angebotenen Flug von Paris nach Auckland und zurück gebucht, auf dem zwei Flugsegmente von Air NZ durchgeführt wurden. Aufgrund Weigerung des inkompetenten und arrogante TK Bodenpersonals in Paris, das Gepäck bis Auckland durchzuchecken - Passagiere von anderen Ausgangsflughäfen hatten keine derartigen Probleme - wurde bei 65 Minuten Umsteigezeit der Anschlussflug mit Air NZ zwangsläufig verpasst. Diese Tatsache wurde von TK nicht an Air NZ weitergegeben, sodass diese von einem No Show ausging und das erste Segment des Rückflugs von Auckland nach Sydney stornierte. Im Buchungssystem von TK waren wir für dieses Flugsegment allerdings weiterhin mit ok gebucht während bei Air NZ unsere Namen nicht mehr auftauchten. Mehrere Tage vor dem Rückflug von Auckland wurden wir auf dieses Problem aufmerksam und versuchten TK auf unterschiedlichen Kanäle zu kontaktieren mit der Bitte, dafür zu sorgen, dass die Stornierung der Buchung für das Flugsegment von Auckland nach Sydney zum anschließenden Weiterflug nach Istanbul rückgängig gemacht wird. Diese wurden ignoriert oder mit nichtssagenden, hinhaltenden Emails beantwortet, in denen versucht wurde, die Verantwortung für das Chaos abzuschieben. Uns blieb daher nichts anderes übrig als selbst aktiv zu werden und auf eigene Kosten Flugtickets von AKL nach SYD zu kaufen, um die weiteren Flugsegment von SYD nach ISL und ISL nach PAR wahrnehmen zu können. Obwohl die Buchungen existierten, war selbst dies wegen buchungstechnischer Schwierigkeiten - wie hatten das erste Flugsegment, für das unsere Buchungen storniert worden war nicht ordnungsgemäß angetreten - erst nach langwierigen Diskussionen und Rückfragen möglich.

Great experience as always! Best Airline in Europe! There is no better way to fly... - but it is not Lufthansa. Turkish has far better product, hardware and service. Again I had absolutely nothing to complain about this airline. The staff was attentive and absolutely friendly, keen and helpful. The service was perfect. The dishes served at Lounge in Istanbul but also in the sky were very delicious and cooked all to perfection. The Turkish cuisine a must! Loved it so much and will be back for sure again.

Lost baggage I am posting this because at this point silence feels like enabling incompetence. My husband flew Turkish Airlines internationally on December 4. His bag never arrived. What followed has been over two weeks of complete dysfunction, indifference, and a total lack of accountability from an airline that markets itself as world class. He was told hours after landing that his bag was still in Istanbul. No notice. No explanation. He was handed a form written in pencil, told to photograph it, and sent on his way. That form meant nothing. No claim was ever filed. Days later he was told he had to open the case himself. Since then he has complied with every request. Detailed inventory. Prices. Follow ups. Endless phone calls. Long hold times. Scripted apologies. No updates. No supervisor. No escalation. Nothing. Only after he publicly shared his experience did Turkish Airlines suddenly reach out. And even then it amounted to nothing. Fifteen days later they are still asking basic questions like what color the bag is and asking for photos, as if no one has been working on this at all. This is not about money. Some items in that bag are personal and cannot be replaced. This is about responsibility. This is about an airline losing someone’s belongings and then acting as if it is not their problem. This was Business Class with priority baggage. If this is how Turkish Airlines treats customers who pay a premium, as much as 3 -4 times economy, I can only imagine how the treat their economy travelers... At this point it feels like once your bag is lost, you are on your own. No urgency. No ownership. No care. Fly at your own risk. If Turkish Airlines loses your bag, do not expect help, communication, or accountability. I hope this gets resolved. But more than that, I hope people see this before trusting this airline with anything they cannot afford to lose.

Don't trust them with assistance or with hearing your complaints I had two minors (12 and 13) years old travelling with assistance on Turkish Airlines. They were left by themselves upon arrival in Lisbon, where the flight landed 30 minutes earlier. I found them by themselves outside the airport. When complaining to the airline company, as the return flight is also with Turkish Airlines, they failed to acknowledge any wrong doing. Absolute irresponsibility!
