Severe Nerve Pain After Filler — No Accountability from Clinic
I came to see Dr. Rivkin at Westside Aesthetics after watching countless internet ads and online videos promoting him as a “filler expert.” Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite of what was promised — and it has turned into one of the most painful, experiences of my life.
On August 5th, I received chin filler and immediately felt sharp pain in my gums, teeth, and jaw that has persisted every single day since. The aesthetic results were minimal, but the nerve pain and tooth sensitivity have been constant and debilitating.
When I returned for a follow-up, Dr. Rivkin admitted he’d never seen a reaction like this before, calling it “unprecedented.” Despite this, his office refused to issue a refund — even after I explained that I can’t risk further nerve damage by allowing more injections. Instead, they repeatedly pushed me to “come back in” for more procedures, ignoring my clear and repeated pleas that I was in pain and terrified to be injected again.
It’s now been months of suffering, anxiety, and emotional distress — and they have just stopped responding entirely. Paying $2500 for a procedure that left me in constant pain and with no benefit is beyond unacceptable.
This clinic’s advertising promises expertise and safety, but my reality has been pain, nerve damage, and total indifference. They should be ashamed. Beware of the marketing. Beware of the lack of accountability. Beware of Westside Aesthetics.
