DO NOT USE IF YOUR JOURNEY IS IMPORTANT - UNRELIABLE Pre-booked a return taxi transfer to airport. Taxi never turned up on morning of departure. After several attempts, we managed to get hold of him on the phone and we were given a bizarre excuse. We waited a further 20 mins for him to arrive. On return journey, he was again a no-show at the airport. Eventually we managed to get him on the phone and were given another bizarre excuse. Having arrived back on a late flight, we were left waiting for over an hour. Unreliable. Would NOT recommend. NB: Price on invoice is less than the actual price you are charged. We had an additional £17.20 on top of the quoted price on the website.

Hi Lucy, we're you booked an estate car for 4 passengers and needed a people carrier as you had more luggage than the vehicle carries in it az you had 4 large 30 kg cases and 6 small cases you only paid for the car and we had to supply a large private hire mpv to move your group and luggage. So we had to get other vehicles as when the estate car was at airport you told us that you had 14 suitcases and a car can only hold a maximum of 4 cases. Now we know how you book vehicles to get transfer hopefully you will find an alternative taxi operators to transfer you next time you book a small vehicles and pay upfront for said vehicles and need a bigger vehicle

Not to be trusted! Visiting Helensburgh for a night out with Family & Friends. We knew it was going to be a late night but didn’t want to drive, so we pre-booked a Trident Taxi for quarter past midnight as there would be no other way to get home to Balloch. Well, the taxi never showed up and nobody answered the phone so we got stranded, standing out in the freezing cold and no way to get home (12 miles). Not impressed at all. Will never use them again and definitely don’t recommend them. Not to be trusted.

Pre booked taxi for 5am to the airport and was a no show. Nobody picked up the phone and nobody contacted to tell me otherwise! Apparently this is typical of this company so I would avoid! Update: Trident cancelled the booking 6 hours after I was to be collected, denied everything in the reply to this review yet it was booked via the link linked to this Google Business. It is all in emails.....nobody simply turned up to get me!

what trident did you book through as their is two in the area one in helensburgh and the other is the ones that sit at taxi rank different phone number and based in alexandra under toa t/a trident although trident is a registered trademark and they do not have the permission to use so we get the complaints for bookings we no nothing about

Zero stars as the pre-book hire, and prepaid, did not show up for our pick up. No call, no communication whatsoever. Did not answer phone calls this morning so we were stranded on our outgoing flight day with no way to arrive at airport on time for our flight. Waiting to be contacted about a refund! EDIT: We have received a refund and are sorry for the circumstances; however, any communication (an email, text, or call) earlier that morning would have been appreciated and would have helped us figure out alternate arrangements if possible.

the job was out of area driver colin was in hospital and we gave refund as could not pass on to another driver as the rest we know have taxi licence and can not pick up out of area unless going back in to their area and this was going to edinburgh from west dumbarton council and our vehicles are argyll and bute council licenced

Trustful people I misplaced my phone in the taxi. When I called them up, the driver said he will bring it to me to the hotel. Grateful for that. I will definitely recommend Trident Taxi.

Avoid Avoid Avoid Dishonest and unreliable Company Avoid this company despite having booked 10 days previously and having confirmation email with vehicle reg number, drivers name etc etc they did not turn up. When i phoned at the pick up time they said Don’t worry we will be with you in 15 minutes giving you plenty of time to get to your destination. Bare faced lies despite many phone calls they did not turn up , why say you were on your way ? No regard for for where we were going or what we were attending. Unreliable, dishonest with no regard for customers do not use this company.
