Let me start by saying if the world could only have one Dermatologist the right choice would be Dr Leah Ansell. Dr Ansell has not only performed procedures that have made me look years younger, but she has also lifted my spirits. She is kind, compassionate, and intelligent. She is truly concerned about her patients and will treat you like an old friend. I look forward to all my future appointments. The office is bright and filled with warm and welcoming staff. Dr Ansell works magic both on the skin and the soul!

I was a patient of Dr. Ansell for years, and she remains one of my favorite doctors I've every had. Kind, thoughtful, and incredible at what she does. I saw her for both medical and cosmetic dermatology, and she always made me feel like I was in expert hands. I would absolutely recommend her to any friend looking for a derm! Dr Ansell is brilliant. Aside from being personable, curious to learn about me and my family, and relatable, she is the only dermatologist in Manhattan to accurately diagnose my hair problems and put a plan together to address it. She researched my specific symptoms, consulted colleagues and experts in the field, and as a result, the root cause of my problem has been addressed and I even have hair regrowth. I am forever grateful to Dr Ansell for her thoughtfulness and kindness and her willingness to take on a challenge that more than five other experts could not solve. I’ve been a patient for five years and I would recommend her again and again, and for any dermatological issue. Her guidance on wrinkles and preventative care is pretty amazing, too.

I have been a patient under Dr. Leah H. Ansell for over 6 years. Dr. Ansell has been instrumental in helping me deal with my skin challenges. She raises the bar on patient care and knows each one of her patients personally. After years of no progress with my skin, I started to receive care from her at the Dermatology Center of Rockland, and I FINALLY started seeing improvement. She moved to the city where she was practicing at Gendler Dermatology. At first, there was no way I would travel to NYC for a doctor's visit, but after trying MANY dermatologists, none were as hands-on and determined to help rid my skin problems as Dr. Ansell. Now she is at Treiber dermatology associates, and YES, I am still her patient. Without her care, patience, and expertise, I would not have the amazing skin and confidence I have today. Most places can make you feel like an idiot for not knowing the field language. You will never have to deal with that under Dr. Ansell. She was phenomenal at communicating and comforting me through each step of the process. She has even inspired me to become a dermatologist, and I am currently studying at Cornell University, hoping to follow in her footsteps. There is no other doctor I would want to treat me. Dr. Ansell is genuinely the best. She is the kindest doctor who will stop at nothing to help you with any skin problem.

Best dermatologist ever! We absolutely love Dr Ansell. Our family has been going to her for a few years - speaks to us with such respect, she’s normal and actually cool and of course very good at her job. It’s rare that you genuinely look forward to going to the Dr. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Ansell is absolutely amazing. She is thorough, competent, extremely intelligent, thoughtful and an all around amazing person and doctor. For example, I do an annual skin check with her and she is extremely thorough checking every single spot throughout my entire body and following up consistently in areas she feels are remotely abnormal. She is more thorough than any other doctor I have ever been to in this regard. She is always calm, comforting, and has unbelievable bedside manner. Earlier this year when I had a newborn and could not get in with a pediatric derm for multiple months, she squeezed me in DAY of to ease my mind and come up with a plan to help with a rash for my son. Additionally, she followed up the next day to see how he was doing. This speaks to her dedication and character. She is hands down one of my very favorite doctors and I truly could not recommend her enough.

Dr. Ansell is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about helping her patients feel and look their best.
