After our installation company wouldn’t return calls for service on a broken screen, I found Lane at Treaty Oak Shade. He responded immediately and sent a crew a few days later to fix our screen quickly. Beyond 5 stars!

I love these shades and they have made my home more energy efficient which was my goal. These shades were a difficult install on an aluminum roof with solar panels and with second tier clere story windows and a stacked rock facade.
I think what is most important to mention is their follow through and responsiveness for problems. Too often a company is great on the original install but MIA if there are subsequent difficulties. Treaty Oak Shades has been responsive and prompt. Incidentally, these shades made it through the high winds and the wet and dry freezes this year as advertised.

I needed a product that would keep a screened porch warm during the winter and dry during the Texas Hill Country storms. Lane came to scope the project, asked all the questions needed to get the job done correctly, and helped me place the order. When the custom shades were shipped, he contacted me and scheduled the work promptly. During the installation, our installers were professional and responsive to concerns about the railings even though it required an extra hour of work to rectify. While I have given them a 5 star rating, I still cannot testify to the effectiveness of the weatherproofing, as we have experienced neither winter weather nor rainfall in the 5 weeks since the install. I'll certainly be amending this review if we ever get any rain!

After comparing companies, Treaty Oak with a personal design-to-install project mindset, was able to identify and troubleshoot issues with my shades others didn’t even mentioned. They avoided for me having to deal with multiple contractors for fixes to my patio pre installation of shades. Highly recommended without hesitation!

I called Treaty Oak Shade Co as we had a sun shade installed by another company that was not performing any longer. A little investigation identified an electric motor that was the issue. A new motor was ordered and last week it was installed. The installers were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The shade now works as it always has and we are totally satisfied.
