Wonderful hotel in the heart of Singapore. We were in town for a quick 36 hours at the beginning of our honeymoon and couldn't have been more pleased with the location, delicious breakfast and kind staff. The lobby smelled like a flower garden every time you walked in! The staff even upgraded us to a room with a view and decorated for our honeymoon. We can't wait to return!

Es ist und bleibt eines der schönsten und mondänsten Häuser der Welt, die ich kenne. Wunderbar am Singapur River gelegen und mit einer Ausstrahlung, die ihresgleichen sucht. Selbst wenn man nur zum Kaffee oder Tee am Nachmittag in der Lobby Zeit hat, so lohnt sich diese. Die Menschen zu beobachten, Den fantastischen Service zu genießen, und die leckeren Kuchen. The Fullerton is a 5+ star hotel but sadly disappoints on the small touches. Check in was clumsy with the hotel having rooms available but refusing to let guests check in early as a courtesy requesting an additional SGD100 fee to do so instead. When we checked into our room about an hour after it was ready, the luggage with the bell desk still had not been delivered to the room and a call was required to expedite delivery 30 minutes after. Three requests for a simple bucket of ice and an hour later still had not been delivered. Lobby WiFi is limited to 3 hours while guests wait. These are all things that are standard with other “less reputable” 5* hotels like the St Regis and JWMarriott. For an expensive 5* hotel, it’s unfortunate they cannot deliver on service and amenities that matches the hotel’s grand hotel history. Disappointed!
Postscript: Completed the 4-day stay. The Fullerton Hotel building is indeed UNESCO worthy full of history. You won’t find high ceilings like these or architecture in any modern hotel. The hotel does care about its guest and does strive for “6 star” service. After the mishaps on the first day the rest of the stay was smooth. My experience occurred during a peak period when the hotel was hosting an dignitary event for super VVIP (they closed the main hotel entrance for 4 hours to accommodate the VVIPs) which may have added to the inconvenience. That said the hotel leadership may need to slightly prioritize more their everyday guests’ needs vs their VVIP or at least be more thoughtful about how minimize their inconvenience or be ready to offer some amenities for the inconveniences and charge it to the dignitaries accordingly. There’s a reason for example that A-list celebrities and dignitaries in the USA use the backdoor for example. Nevertheless, the hotel does get an A for effort and I am raising my review after the initial 2* disappointment.

Not worth the price paid. Lacklustre service, would have expected better from a 5 star hotel. Checkin took 15min (separate bookings were not combined though confirmed via email that they would be), housekeeping staff knocked on the door to ask to clean room though do not disturb light was on. Heritage room on the third floor has low ceilings and the bathroom had a weird smell in the morning (overnight).
Redeeming factors are the great selection for the breakfast buffet and it is a beautiful hotel steeped in heritage (we went on the monument tour which was informative).

Highly recommended. Comfortable rooms, kind staff (special thanks to Mei Yee!) and incredibly good location. I also appreciate the efforts the hotel's to become more eco-friendly, like providing glass bottles with a tap with filtered water in the room instead of plastic water bottles. Additional room items like extra coffee, towels, and even room service, can be ordered via a QR code, which is very convenient. Very happy to have stayed here!

Wedding lunch reception at fullerton hotel. The ballroom was fantastic. Great ambience uniterrupted views of the main stage. Food was okay. Dessert was amazing - manjari chocolate cake. All in all a rather nice place to hold a wedding.

It is a lovely and historic building that has been transformed into a great hotel. I would stay here again during a trip to Singapore. The location is perfect as it is near the business area, the tourist area, the clubbing/drinking scene. In addition it is only 25mins from the airport via Taxi or a 'Grab' (Asia equivalent of Uber).
The food at the hotel was fantastic. This place is well suited to holiday goers and business folks.
