Wonderful day
What a wonderful day! The waters were calm, making for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome throughout the excursion. Stopping at Kleftiko for a swim was definitely a highlight. I’m not a strong swimmer, so I really appreciated that they provided flotation devices as well as snorkelling equipment, which made it easy to enjoy the crystal-clear water with confidence. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Milos.
Incredible Milos boat trip!
I loved this boat trip. It was incredible! Our Captain, George, and Host Christina went above and beyond! They were amazing… and are so knowledgeable about the region! They provided the most enjoyable day filled with beautiful views, stunning swimming locations, and wonderful food. They were so full of joy and passion for what they do that it infused our entire day with fun! I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!
Fun, informative and friendly Meteora tour!
My friend and I had a great private tour with Ioannis and Angeliki! They picked us up from our accomodation and we hit the road en route to Meteora and its Monasteries. We took stops along to each Monastery, and Ioannis had his go pro to get some great photos of us at each location! Plenty of information was handed over to us about the monasteries, Meteora and the region itself. It was a great bonding experience between myself, my friend and our two hosts, who gave us a great restaurant and dessert recommendations, and we even had a disco jam on the way back to Ioannina! We had a fantastic time and we can’t thank Ioannis and Angeliki enough for the trip we had with them!
Niki worked with us to book an absolutely unforgettable trip to Greece, including Athens, Santorini, Paros, and Naxos. She identified several amazing experiences, including an Acropolis tour with a fantastic tour guide, a catamaran cruise in Santorini and an exploration of the island, a kaiki cruise in Paros, and a farm-to-table experience on a working farm (Basilika) in Naxos. Our hotels were incredible, all 4 or 5 star. I highly recommend working with Niki to book your travel — first-class service all the way!!
Touristtrap to the max
Absolute touristtrap. Waited half an hour on the boat for another 5 buses full of people to be packed as goats on the ship with very loud music. Boattrip took ages and on arrival at the 'blue lagoon' there were 300 people in the water. The water was devided like an old swimmingpool with ropes ands floaters. We were allowed to swim for an hour and a half, accompanied by an angry greek who blew his whistle te whole time anyone can near the rope ot the anchor. When we finally left back home we were dropped in a small city for two hours with the only purpose to buy buy buy stuff. So for an kwantative hour we wasted a whole day. DON'T DO THIS!
Unwelcoming and discriminatory
I’ve never been one to casually throw discriminatory or racism claims but, honestly, dining at this winery has been the most uninviting experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. This really tarnished our stay at Ikaria and I’m writing this review as a heads up for tourists like us. The moment my girlfriend and I walked in, it was clear that we were not welcome here. It took 20 mins to get served water, almost an hour to get any wine at all, and we did not get blankets even though it was cold and we requested one earlier. Note that all the other people around us got served water, wine and blankets almost as soon as they got in. We, quite literally, saw people that walked in 30 mins to a hour after us get prioritized and served before we were. The owner of the business (Georgios) did not want to hand us the wine menu to select what we wanted, and his tone was very condescending the entire time. We left here feeling very disrespected. I would say, though, that there was one British waitress (don’t recall her name!) that was very accommodating and checked in with us when she noticed things were off. Yes, we’re black people.
All good
The van was comfortable and clean. The guide was excellent - articulate, very knowledgeable, and efficient with the time. The group was both small and diverse. My only complaint would be the differing communication messages between Trip Advisor and the driver’s organization about when the pick up would take place. The direct contact with the driver resolved the issue. Delphi is a must see and this was a wonderful way to experience it.
Lovely for swimmer's
Glad we did this trip. The Crew were very happy people and the bbq lunch was delicious 😋. One thing only cash on board. It was a bit party boat for is today as a large group who seemed drunk on arrival were there. Very loud but the boat Crew handled it well. I would advise but a trip for non swimmers in my opinion. They offer floats but my husband is afraid I'm deep water so mostly stayed in board and with cash only we weren't able to buy snacks or a beer while he was waiting. I enjoyed the crews humour and with lunch for 210euro for 2 adults and 2 teens. ESS a little pricey but this did cover the short bus ride to the pier from our hotel. Very important to bring cash. Don't worry about burning as the boat is covered just factor 50, Cash and your towels your good to go.
Great fun
This boat tour was a lot of fun! The ride was smooth and the surroundings were beautiful. It was fun to swim in the sea and we had ample time at both locations. Mike and Dimitri were really friendly and chatted with us during the trip, sharing details about Milos and other areas in Greece. I would definitely recommend this tour and tour company.
Nikoletta was absolutely wonderful to work with and made our honeymoon feel effortless from start to finish. She was incredibly communicative, organized, and always available to answer questions.
Anytime we experienced a travel delay, she was already ahead of it—often informing us before we even realized there was an issue—and she quickly adjusted our transportation at the destination so we never had to worry. She provided all the documents, recommendations, and information we needed, which made the entire trip feel smooth and stress-free.
We had an absolutely amazing time. The hotels and vendors she selected were fantastic, and every location was perfect for exploring each city. Everything was thoughtfully planned and logistically easy, which allowed us to simply enjoy our honeymoon. We are so grateful for her help and would highly recommend working with her.
Short notice cancellation
This is not a review about the actual experience as the experience was cancelled by the host only a few days in advance of our visit with no explanation, just an automatic email from the booking operator. We booked back in May and it was the first night of our holiday. Really disappointed that the hosts didn't even both to send a personal email apologising. Suspect it was due to not having enough guests. Be aware if you book they may cancel at the last minute!
Colourful costumes, lovely Greek music on traditional instruments and exciting dancing, especially the men!
It would be helpful if directions could be generated and shared with those purchasing tickets for this event because the signage within the Old City to locate the outdoor theatre was poor. We had difficulties finding our way there but wow, what a show! Highly recommend this cultural experience! Pat
Great Cruise, Good Food.
Booked this cruise as we were staying in Athens for 3 nights at the start of island hopping over a couple of weeks. I thought this would be a great way to see 3 islands in a day. I read the reviews and booked VIP, due to it being a 12 hour day and unlimited food and refreshments along with a private lounge area was enticing. We were picked up from near our apartment by a private taxi along with another couple. On time and good communication throughout the booking and collection point details. We arrived at the ship and immediately escorted into a private lounge and introduced to Costas, our lovely host for the day. The lounge was exclusive to VIP passengers and we were given our own seating area with WiFi, two sofas and a coffee table. We wandered upstairs to the top deck and sat on a couple of chairs as the weather was hot and we sailed off to the first island of Hydra. As a VIP, you can use any of the three bars to get drinks, first drink was iced lattes! There are tables and chairs at the front of the boat which are all taken pretty quickly, then you can get chairs to sit on both port and starboard with plenty of room. We went downstairs at 10am where we were served with nibbles and a cold refreshing drink made by Costas. We visited Hydra, there is a free walking tour for VIP, but we just wandered around the town for an hour, absolutely beautiful. On our return to the ship, we had lunch in the lounge area which was a salad, with fish, meat, pasta, bread (and butter!) and then an amazing orange cake for dessert. We then visited the island of Poros and Aegina, you don't get long on these islands, but enough to see the promenade and have a drink. We didn't do any of the private tours. During the day, we mainly sat on the outside of the boat, managed to get a table a couple of times. (It is busy, but you can always get a seat somewhere). In the public lounge, there was a DJ, Karaoke and entertainment. After the last island, we did go and sit downstairs in the VIP lounge, where Costas made us coffees and was available throughout the day. There was only around 10 other VIPs, so we basically had the lounge to ourselves and a few people were napping at the end of a long day. At arrival in Athens, we then had a private taxi to take us back to our pick up point, this was around 7pm. We did thoroughly enjoy the day, Costas was lovely, we had everything we needed, the islands were beautiful and it is worth doing. Would I go VIP again, no, we decided we wouldn't need to. (We don't drink in the day, so the free bar for us was not needed) We had a couple of iced drinks and coffee, but we could have bought those as non VIP passengers. The lunch was really good, but you had long enough on Hydra to get lunch. We would definitely recommend. Great staff and well organised.
Fantastic day trip
Our first trip to Corfu and we found this trip prior to our flights. We were a little worried about the pick up as it was specified we would be picked up at 7:57am at our hotel but it arrived a few minutes after and took us directly to the port. It was a fantastic day out, sunny, warm, and bright. The crew were great, informative and thorough. Plenty of food and drink served throughout the day and having 2 hours stop in Paxos gave us time to wander about, take photos, and grab some trinkets. We loved the swimming side in Antipaxos too. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip, would recommend, and take it again!
Highly recommended visit when in Corfu!
For wine lovers like us, we were interested to know more about Corfu wine and this winery rich in history is a must visit. Although there were minimal choices of wine the product was exceptional. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the local wine. BTW there wine was featured in the film 'For your eyes only'.
