Fantastic home away from home I have nothing but positive things to say about this place! We stayed in the caravan for two nights and it was honestly the nicest stay of our north island road trip! Everything has been thought of at this hostel - from the different lounge rooms and little nooks to relax in, the well equipped kitchen, awesome games deck with pool & table tennis and even a gym! The highlight was definitely the hot tub which we used a couple of times, and had a great view of the harbour. The caravan was really warm and comfortable and much roomier than it looked from the pictures. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and plentiful so we never had to wait. The cherry on top of this awesome place was the breakfast. I’ve never tasted such delicious scones - still warm from the oven! It really felt like a home away from home - something that’s rare to find these days in most hostels. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout and it’s clear that the owners really care for this place. Amazing work team, we’ll be back for sure.

Great overnight stay My husband, seven year old daughter and me had a very nice stay in a private room with a bathroom last night. We arrived close to midnight off the Bluebridge and the late check in process was smooth. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Easy to park outside our room. The complimentary breakfast was well appreciated and our daughter was absolutely smitten with the resident cat. Definitely recommend for overnight stay on way to and from ferry.
