As always, everything went well.

Good experience taking my truck here for the first time. Very detailed with the service they provide. I felt that the communication was very good and customer service was very good. They provided me with a lot of detailed info in regards to the repairs needed and gave me options. I like that I got to select what service I got and didn’t feel any pressure to do additional items that weren’t as pressing. I will take a truck back here when needed. I would say that even though the price was high the service lived up to the price. Being kid of a mechanic a am aware what dealers charge and also could of done the repairs myself but I don’t have time or space to do so. So it’s nice to find a place that is honest and does quality work.

I was looking for a neighborhood automotive service center for my Tacoma and Lexus. I have always serviced my vehicles at authorized dealers service centers, I was very hesitant to switch and glad I found Tokyo automotive in my own hometown. Kevin handled what my Lexus required. The job was done exceptionally well and on time. I highly recommend Tokyo automotive for all your car repairs.

Amazing shop with dedicated owner and staff, they treated me like family and went over above and beyond to take care of me as a customer. Thier communication was on point and notes evidence was very helpful in the entire process, additionally the parts they utilize for repair are of high quality, I highly recommend Tokyo Automotive for your auto repair needs.

2010 Toyota Prius: The guys at Tokyo Automotive were absolutely terrific. They made sure to give my car a thorough diagnosis before reaching out with a clear estimate. After, they did what had to be done, explained everything along the way with direct messaging and got the job done. We were up at Fullerton from San Diego to attend a graduation when our Lexus ES 330 decided to not start. A quick Google search and we found Tokyo Automotive Repair...emailed them an appointment request that night and by morning they were on it. We were so pleased with their customer service and repair work that we went ahead and had some preventative work done while the car was with them. This is a family owned business and that's how they treat you, like family. If we lived in the Fullerton/Placentia area they would be our go to repair shop. I highly recommend that you make them your go to auto repair shop!

First time visiting Tokyo Automotive, and it will now be the ONLY shop my husband & I trust! They were very upfront about their prices before performing services, and made it clear that they focus on QUALITY mechanics, work & parts. They gave us a thorough inspection of our car, along with a clear plan of things needed to be done, in what order to do them, and also the prices! Not only did we feel like we could completely trust them from the moment we stepped into the office, but Tatsu and Kevin were SO incredibly nice! Will definitely be referring this business to family & friends. Thank you guys!

Shady! The manager at the Placentia location was most likely a used car salesman before he started his career there. They over charge for average service and exaggerate their abilities.

This was our first time going to Tokyo Automotive as my husband found them online for a local repair shop for my Mazda. It was great that they were able to take a look at my car to see if they could find the problem of a sound being made even though there was no promise that they’d be able to work on it same day. That was totally fine with us since my car was drivable. After they assessed it, they said they could fix it same day which was a pleasant surprise! During the entire process they were extremely thorough and communicated with us every step of the way. I did not feel like we were being scammed in anyway like I do when I take my car to the dealer or other places. I will for sure be taking my car here from now on!! I only buy Japanese made cars so I’m glad I have a place I can go to for a long time!! Thank you so much for your service and expertise, Tokyo Automotive!!

I called this place to ask for a free inspection after he asked me a couple questions regarding the issue, I was talking and trying to explain that to him and he kept interrupting me. Towards the end he told me “I don’t work on Dodges” You could’ve asked me that before I even explained to you what the issue was. Next time do that, just wasting my time.

Had to pay diagnostic fee for them to confirm issue I reported for transmission, when asked them to service it (fluid flush and filter replacement-no service provided). No service report provided with issues or diagnostics. Received car back with bird poop all over inside car door from them leaving the window open.
