Ingrid, Ashley and the entire team at Tin Can Studios are an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only are they the kindest and most supportive people, but they are also extremely creative and are able to bring your visions to life in a way far better than you ever imagined. Tin Can Studios uses flowers in a way that is breathtaking, tasteful and makes flowers into sculptural works of art. We worked with Ingrid and Ashley to do the florals and design for our wedding ceremony, reception and welcome dinner. Each design flowed together but was unique, the colors were incredible, and the flowers beyond gorgeous. It was the most beautiful event we could have ever imagined. Ingrid and Ashley also helped us bring together all of the linens, glassware, candles and other design elements to go with the flowers. We had many meetings leading up to the wedding, and Ingrid and Ashley were always so easy to work with, receptive of our ideas, and hardworking to bring our ideas to life. They were there for our entire wedding weekend, taking care of every design details seamlessly, and the entire team was so hardworking in the brutal heat. They even put together a massive stained glass installation in our venue’s ceiling to reflect light and add color to the large room that our reception was in. We cannot recommend Tin Can Studios enough - you will truly have the most beautiful flowers for your event, and will get to work with the most kind and supportive people in the process. We love Ingrid, Ashley and the Tin Can team so much that we have worked with them again since our wedding for a surprise birthday party, and are looking forward to our next event with them :). If you have the opportunity to hire Tin Can for your event design and flowers, do not hesitate for a second!

Unbelievable Talent and Seamless Collaboration with Tin Can Studios! As an event planner and designer, I’m always on the lookout for vendors who can take my vision and transform it into something spectacular. Tin Can Studios did just that—and more—for a private event (a 40th Anniversary celebration) at the New Museum. I came to them with a design concept inspired by the iconic artist Robert Rauschenberg, and they didn’t just bring it to life—they elevated it to a whole new level. Their floral designs were nothing short of breathtaking. Every detail perfectly captured the layered textures, bold colors, and artistic flair that were central to the concept. Ingrid & the designers at Tin Can Studios have a remarkable ability to take a theme and enhance it with their creative genius, making every installation feel like a living piece of art. The transformation they created in the space was beyond what I could have envisioned, and it wowed me—and all the guests—completely. I was absolutely giddy with delight! As a planner, communication and collaboration are essential to me, and Ingrid made the process effortless. She was not only professional and organized, but were also enthusiastic partners throughout the journey. The attention to detail and commitment to exceeding expectations is unmatched. My husband asked Tin Can Studios to do the flowers for my surprise birthday party and the flowers were simply stunning. The varieties Ingrid and her team had picked were FAR beyond what you usually see, with eye catching asymmetrical compositions, gorgeous colors and interesting vases. Elevated and fun at the same time! We STILL get compliments about the flowers and look forward to using Tin Can Studios at our next event.

We were lucky enough to work with Tin Can Studios at the Frieze Art Fair in May to help with the design of our restaurant "The Foul Witch" It blew my mind to see so many people taking pictures of the flowers at an art fair. She is a true artist. She captured our vision and made it a statement.

A guest at our wedding insisted that the flowers were too beautiful to be real; only touching the flowers persuaded her otherwise. That may say a lot about our guest, but it also says a lot about Ingrid's talent and the quality of the material she works with. More than one person told us that our flowers--the tabletop arrangements, the bouquets and boutonnieres, the canopy we stood under--were the most beautiful they'd seen at a wedding. For distinctive, gorgeous flowers and a staff that will respond to your concerns and offer you something even more beautiful than you imagined, I recommend Tin Can Studios.

We were looking to add a very special touch to our wedding with the flowers. Tin Can listened to all of our requests and transformed a raw space into a beautiful, lush landscape full of variety and color, marrying feminine and masculine elements. We received many compliments on our wedding and everyone mentions the unique tablescapes and beautiful huppah. I worked with Ingrid and her team for our Manhattan wedding in August 2015 and she was amazing! We had a wonderful conversation after I inquired about her availability, and then my fiance and I met with her at her Red Hook studio, where we went through the plan for our wedding. She also came to our venue several times for walk-throughs with me and our wedding coordinator. Her vision for the space was exactly what I wanted, and her aesthetic is so beautiful and perfect for a modern yet pretty and classic wedding. She sources beautiful and unique local flowers in season. She was so unlike other florists I interviewed since she really listened to what I like and don't like, so I got exactly what I wanted without having to tell her every single detail. Honestly the best vendor choice we made in the whole wedding process! I have recommended her to all of my engaged friends and I would not hesitate to use her again for another event!
