WILL NOT RECOMMEND… NOT WILLING TO REFILL A SCRIPT I will NEVER recommend this service SOLEY because it seems that they just want to take your $$$, and will not refill something after you run out, and it was only 4 months since I paid their “outrageous price” to come to my house - i have an older cat who is terrified of the carrier so I paid the extra $100 to come to my house…. While the vet and the assistant have always been very nice, it is SO INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to try to get someone to call you back… The funny thing is, I was calling in to ask for a refill of amoxicillin….Apparently, they wanted me to pay for another “home visit” to get an amoxicillin refill…. REALLY? I don’t think so…. I also found out that my cat is fine, with me holding him while driving to my normal vet…. He is just scared of the cat carrier…. As I stated, both veterinarians and their assistants have been very nice and knowledgeable, it just seemed to me like they wanted to take more money for a refill that they prescribed 4 months prior…. However, if my pet was very ill and needed to be put to sleep, I would call someone out to my home so my animal would be comfortable at home. My cat is like my child to me…. So, its not necessarily the $$$, its the extreme inconvenience of trying to get a refill and also, not being able to get in touch with them… I was always seeming to leave a voicemail and would receive a text back, with still no resolution.

I do not recommend!!! I called this service because I just have moved to the area and I did not know any other Vet Hospital, it was a totally nightmare, they only talked a lot but they didn't even put a finger in my dog, when they tried to approximate the dog they said dog was anxious and they need to apply the "calm protocol" that it is nothing else than charged clients for a consultation without really consult the dog. They left charging $300 without even consult the dog and letting a lot of sleep medications that I just throw away as soon as they left my house. In the same day, I went with my dog to a real Vet Hospital where the dog was actually examined, consulted and treated.

Unresponsive Have been using the Vets of Tampa off Racetrack for over a year and they just stop answering g the phone, voice mail is full and no updated information available. Now have to restart with a new vets and cannot get my pets past medical records. Very disappointed and unprofessional.

The vet and asst. were wonderful. I have 2 dogs that needed attention as they had not been to the vet in over a year. After the vet's extensive examination of each one she recommended a treatment plan. Both dogs had been itching; 1 has always had skin issues. The treatment was extensive and the total had a comma in it, but since it had been so long between vet visits they updated all their shots and left medication with explicit dosing instructions. I don't think my dogs have ever had such thorough exams, both ladies were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them and will be using this service again. Thank you so much for all that you did while here. My pups already felt better the next day! A home visit enables the professionals to focus entirely on the pet's care and well being. It is comforting to have a one-on-one consultation without feeling as if you are on an assembly line.

The Vets mobile veterinary service exceeded our expectations. We have 3 large dogs, so having them come to us was a much better experience than making 3 separate visits to an office with 3 nervous dogs. They were so kind to our pets and were able to provide vaccines, tests and medications. All future veterinary visits will surely be with The Vets going forward!

I haven't used them so this is solely based on trying to use their site to make an appointment. They advertise same day appointments but not the case. When u try to do just that when get to the part of making your appointment for that day you can't.

I loved the idea of a home visit. My dog has fear aggression and panics like crazy when I take her into the office. I explained all of this to the staff before the appointment. The vet tech was amazing with how she was handling Alice. She had the body language and tone that Alice just bonded with. The vet, Lisa Tipton, stood off tensely/quietly and made no attempt to maintain the calm chill vibe. Things were fine until the vet had to approach for the blood sample and vaccines. Alice was growling and shaking in fear. The vet was too afraid to try to take the sample so she refused. Put on my paperwork that I declined it. Amd still charged me the exam visit when she didn’t once get close enough to examine anything. Of course I’m fair, they did drive to my house. But that was already covered by the at home service fee. So I paid a missive bill for absolutely nothing. I simply needed to get her on flea tick and heartworm meds but they wouldn’t give me the prescription without the blood work. I understand dogs are scary to some folks. Heck. Fires are scary to me which is why I’m not a firefighter. This was wrong. The two stars are for the wonderful vet tech who tried.
