The Good:
** Has a nice range of all of the essential equipment you need to hit every muscle, including; barbells, dumbbells, squat racks, benches, cable machines, and many others.
** Large range of weights for heavy lifters.
** There are times when the gym is pretty dead and you have free range of the equipment.
The Bad:
** There is no sense of hygiene here. No equipment sanitizer or hand sanitizer. They encourage patrons to use a towel (free) while they workout but most people don't use them and sitting on a towel doesn't really keep anything clean anyway. Also, I've never seen a staff member clean anything either.
** Gym is small so it can fill up fast.
** A lot of people come with a trainer or friend which takes up additional time on the equipment because they're also socializing.
** Some of the equipment is in poor condition.
** The price is expensive for what you get (especially considering the issues I just listed).
Owners: please invest in the care of this gym - maintenance the equipment, make staff clean periodically, and provide real cleaning supplies for the patrons so this gym can be top notch. đ
Absolutely unacceptable. Iâm paying a full membership fee for a premium gym, not a literal sauna. Two AC units have been broken for far too long, and management seems to do nothing about it. The heat inside is unbearable and frankly dangerousâitâs a health hazard waiting to happen. It is disgraceful to expect members to train in these conditions while you keep collecting our money. Fix it now, or Iâm canceling my membership.
Itâs good for me as a gym beginner. Lots of equipment and other members are âpoliteâ
Some equipment and areas within the gym needs some maintenance and yoga mats need either a good scrub or replacing .
Itâs frustrating as a member that I have to give credit card or passport every time I visit to get a locker key.
Overall a good experience but could easily make a few adjustments and be a 5 star experience.
Not the biggest gym but they pack in a ton of equipment from running machines to power lifting. There's alot of testosterone in this gym so sensitive types maybe look elsewhere. Members were polite and I twice stepped in between sets with other lifters without fuss. I noticed plates were removed from machines and returned to the rack. A pet hate of mine and a BIG thumbs up. Pricing was standard for BKK if not slightly below city centre rates.
They charge you 10% over the bill if you pay with card. 10%!!! Ridiculous
In general a positive experience.
There are several squat racks, pullup bars, two dipping stations, a high p-bar, good selection of machines, various kettlebells, lots of bars and weights. Loads of mirrors, and also some free space which I could use for handstands.
Air conditioning works fine. Service was very nice.
What I didn't find was rings, plyo boxes (or any kind of box), TRX.
Some weights are labelled in pounds, some in kgs, so watch out for this.
Daily ticket is 350 bath. Protein shake is great, costs 150.
Showers are wonderful, locker is safe (I didn't close mine), but toilet is a bit of walking away in the building and not air conditioned.
An excellent gym with a personal touch. You can see that the owner loves the field. Thereâs a selection of well thought hammers and Olympic cages. Only the aerobic facilities are a bit old. Daily admission cost 350 baht. Overall, I enjoyed it
Bestilte cream brule.
This gym is very good, except for two negative points: the music is always the same, and it was especially useful to change the heavy weights.
Really good gym, day pass 400thb or 1000 for 3 days. Lots of machines and squat racks. Dumbbells consistently up to 60lbs after that they have a couple of 85lbs and some unmarked ones. Staff is very friendly and polite nice people đ
